Low desert (eg Ocotillo), but that will be a bit of a drive.............
It's supposed to warm up for Sat and Sunday, so high desert should be descent except maybe windy.

Okay....I worked all throughout the holidays and could not take my 6 year old to ride his quad. I promised I would take him tomorrow, Friday Jan 5th, to Hungry Valley to ride on the kid track there. Well, today it is raining, and tommorow shows a high of 40 degrees with wind. He is gonna be heart-broken because he goes back to school on Monday.
Are there any spots, kid friendly for a 6 year old that I can take him tommorow in the SoCal...Los Angeles close area, that won't be freezing cold like Hungry Valley or Cal City? I don't want to drive forever, but 60 to 80 miles I will do.
thanks

It looks like my son will get a lesson on how sometimes our plans get spoiled in the winter. From everything I can see...it is gonna be pretty windy at both El Mirage and Hungry Valley, and maybe even wet. It was a nice idea since I am off on Friday and so is he, and we might avoid a weekend crowd. Next time!

wow, that was a nice looking bike until you took it on that hill. it's always fun fixing up a bike but can get hard sometimes,,, I can't really think of anywhere besides el mirage or hungry valley...and floors going to be wet anywhere you go..... hopefully someone will chime in soon with some good help....make sure you get armor for your bike.. first thing you should do to protect vital parts underneath......
