If you are looking for a place to ride in Maryland, go knock on Travis Pastrana's door. Maybe he will teach you how to do a backflip on a quad. Heard he is pretty generous

Hey Guys, I rode illegally in Deleware and got a $25 ticket. After adding court costs, it was still cheaper than a lot of places you can pay to ride.

Hey, Im in southern maryland and am looking to hook up with people to ride somewhere. I ride a 2000 Banshee. Ive had no luck getting with people from this area using myspace, craiglist, and other means. I did have a chance to ride with my buddy in calvert co and when i was driving home i saw 3 dudes with quads loaded in their trucks. Well i followed them and we stopped at the wawa and talked a little atvs and stuff. Then i asked if i could tag along with them and they were like naa. I thought that us riders in the area know how hard it is to find places to ride and stick together, guess i was mistaken. Id just assume sell the darn atv's and get some jetskis or something. anyway if anyone wants to ride somewhere or make a trip somewhere, im game, email me at wilkie610@aol.com

I'm a member at Tower City. They have all kinds of trails and hills there. Make sure you have skid plates for some of the trails. Membership pays for itself quickly after a couple of trips. If you like MX style race tracks, Rausch creek is next door to them. I'm in Harford County and it takes me around 2 hours to get there. There is also the Landing in Easton MD which is a track facility. If you need websites for any of these let me know.
Posted by: LowRecoil
The only place with miles and miles of trails close by is Tower City. You can go to: http://www.enduro.4t.com/riding.htm and look at the list of MD riding areas but most of the state park areas are small and not challenging. There are some other places in PA farther out than
Rausch creek http://www.rauschcreekracing.com/rcmp/index.php
and Tower City http://www.towercitytrailriders.org/index.htm
such as the Landing (MD) http://www.thelandingmx.com/index_main.htm
Paragon http://www.paragonap.com/p_rates.htm
and Majestic http://www.majestictrails.com/
and really far away is Hatfield/McCoy http://www.trailsheaven.com/
It all depends on what kind of riding you like to do and how far you are willing to travel. It also depends on who you bring with you and their experience level. At Tower City, they have easy trails for when I have the kids with me or difficult ones for when I dont. All of those places require either a membership or daily fee.
Posted by: LowRecoil
been riding where?
Posted by: LowRecoil
why don't you guys go to the county court house in the land records department and look up to see who owns the property. Maybe if the owner was contacted and offered like $5 for a day of riding per person he would have no problem with riders. Hell, even $10 a day is cheaper than a $500 fine.
Posted by: LowRecoil
If you guys go to Tower City, get a map at the office (free). If you like hill climbing, ask them to point out Mt Everest on the map. If you like flat, wide open areas, ask them to point out the Turnpike. If you like rocks from hell riding, go up trail #1 and 2. I've been a member there for 2 years and still haven't seen everything.
Posted by: LowRecoil
No you dont have to go with a member. If you want a tour of the place we have group rides every Sunday morning and most Saturday mornings. It's about a 33 mile trip that covers some of the trails. Be prepared to get wet if you go on that tour. It takes me around 2-2 1/2 hours to get there. I have to go up 83 to 81, which would probably be the best way for you to go.
Posted by: LowRecoil
Tower City is open 7 days a week. There are places in the top parking lot where you can set up a tent if you want. Some hotels nearby too. Most of the trail guides and officers are up there on the weekends so that is your best chance to get someone to give you a tour. Let me know when you guys plan to go and I'll see if I or someone else can make sure someone shows you around.
Posted by: LowRecoil
Don't know who that was. There is usually a lady named Alice who answers the phone, but she recently was diagnosed with cancer so they must have someone filling in. You don't need to be with a member to go there. all you have to do is stop by the office and get a day pass. On my first trip I immediately got a family membership because it pays for itself quickly in a few trips. Right now I'm looking into getting one of their campsites so I can stay there longer in the summer. You can bring a camper/trailer and leave it there on your site.
Posted by: LowRecoil
I'm going to Tower City tomorrow. Let me know when you guys plan on going, maybe I can show you around.
Posted by: LowRecoil
if you go riding around there often, you might want to get a power washer. That coal dust can be a bitch to get off. Tower City has huge hills to climb, rocky trails, some of which go through streams or large puddles, and a long flat area called the turnpike where you can race with friends. For jumping, I'd recommend going right up the road to Rausch creek. Their property borders Tower City and they have MX style tracks with doubles and whoops sections. There is a large coal area to play around in with small hills and no rocks at Tower City with a bowl I like to zoom around in till I get dizzy. But, as with any riding in PA, except on a groomed course like Rausch creek, you are going to find rocks. I have Razr 2 tires and full skids so I dont have a problem with them. I'd recommend you try the "smily face" trail which takes you to the coal hills, turnpike and other areas that aren't so rocky. Then try trail 4 and 6 to see how you can handle some intermediate rocks. Trail 1 and 2 are the craziest in terms of rocks. Half of the quads at Tower City are sport quads.

For those in MD wishing to ride in Paragon, it is a much further drive than Tower City. If you go up 81, past exit 107, which is the Tower City exit, you'll have to continue on up to Hazleton. For me, in Harford County, going to Tower City takes 2- 2 1/2 hours. Paragon takes over 3 hours for me to get to. Just drove up that way the other day and realized how far it was.
Posted by: LowRecoil
ATV Blaster, where can I park where I don't have to pay?? That would sure help me save some money, thanks. When are you guys going next, maybe I could meet you there.
Posted by: LowRecoil
That doesnt sound like you were at the Tower City trails then, where the Tower City ATV/ dirt bike club is. They are off of the Tower City exit, next to Rausch Creek. It sounds like you drove further up 81N to get to where you went, like closer to Frackville. If their pace was to fast for you, you may want to try the Tower City trails out. They have guided tours and maps in case you want to go out on your own. Their website is: www.tctri.org

If you guys want to see some pics of riding at TC, you can look at my page and go to the website www.tctri.org .

Paragon is about another 30min- 1 hour up 83. It has similar types of trails, just less of them. They don't have camp sites available like TC does. Another place you might want to consider is Rausch creek which is 5 min from TC. They have mx style tracks there.

I have heard of them prorating memberships. You might want to call and talk to John Grodensky about that. I've been a member there for 2 years. It was the only place I could find within a reasonable driving distance that had all the options. As you may have seen, there is hill climbing, rocky trails, mud pits, flat-wide open trails, camp sites, and lots of people with good attitudes. I camp up there on weekends sometimes and at nights, drive to the local drive in movie. You can always get a camp site and put a trailer or shed on it. If you are going to join, make sure you head up for the spring clean up- it's a great way to start to meet other members.

You would think that with all the people here from Harford and Cecil County, someone would know of at least one farm that could be ridden on. I grew up by Susquehanna State Park and we knew a guy with a farm over there with tons of trails in the fields and through the woods but now it's all park property and overgrown. I think most people would be willing to pay a small fee (hint: incentive to let us ride) if they found somewhere close to ride. Come on people and think of who you know.

i was coming home from riding couple months ago in waldorf, and i saw like 3 trucks with bikes coming out of the road by jaspers on the opposite side. dude i was on one of the joining properties to the pits and i saw a puddle like 4 feet wide and 8 feet long,i go in it with my scrambler, start sinking immediately, half buried the bike in this clay/mud,not pure clay, not pure mud and it had all this suction on it,took almost 3 hours to get it out.bout ruined the day.first time i got it stuck, hopefully the last.lol

i am supposed to go out to the pits saturday...anyone interested in meeting up and having a day full of nice riding??

Hey to all you laurel pits riders,i have a story for you about today.I was out there with 3 buds today and after 10 mins of riding,my chain strait up snaps.I had to limp around with front wheel drive today.Thats not the bad part......you guys know where the drag strip is,well we were over there and decided to meet back at the table top that runs next to the main path back there.I took a different route from the others, the long outer loop that parallels to the road with the gate on it.then there is that huge hill by that gate...you pits riders should know exactly what i am talking about.Well i come up near the gate ready to bear to the left towards the tabletop downpath,A COP on foot was right in my path, flagging me down so i didnt have much choice with no rear drive as all my bike did was spin under any more than 1/4 throttle.I stop he says you know this is private property,i say yes,he said well i can haul you to jail or give a hefty fine,i say well i would rather just go home, can i just go? He lets me go but only to push my bike to where i park.So i said i would be happy to push it,since i have been caught there before,i would definately have been arrested. So i start pushing my bike in the direction i was headed anyways,he was walking ahead of me getting further and further away.I am pushing my bike down the main sandy trail he walks up the next biggest hill from the gate and looks through binoculars, goes down other side of hill and he spots my crew, waiting for me as he gets closer he signals for them to stay, they fire up their bikes and head the other way.He turns around he is about 100 ft in front of me pulls his GUN OUT and walks the way he came.By this time there is a slew of people on top of the hill he was originally on top of he tries to sneak up on the side and get the crew up there but they all flee.me,i am still pushing my scrambler through the sandy trail, talk about HARD! I PUSH FOR ANOTHER 1/4 MILE or so till he is out of site i get on my bike and go i meet uP with my one bud further down the trail and we both haul ass back to our friends house. We come in the back of the pits as far as you can go down the main trail i was talking about. We make it back safely and on way home on rt.95 we could see a slew of riders on the main hill by the gate chillin. TALK ABOUT SO SHADY HAPPENINGS!! IM not sure im gonna go back there again but it is so hard to resist,i cant make up my mind.Just wanna inform all you pits riders what happened.Sorry this was so long but i like to be detailed.Any questions ask,see ya's
Posted by: badassz24ondubs
I CANT GET THAT BERM PIC TO LOAD UP,HELP
Posted by: badassz24ondubs
i cant believe some of you are doubting my story, thats just not right.why the hell would i tell you all b.s.,so you will stop riding there?like im an advocate for someone trying to stop illegal riding.come on i love riding just as much as the next guy i have 2 quads.i say the more the merrier espec. at the pits its by far the best place i have been.i see how it is though, try and give a fair warning to all you riders of this area and i get called bluffin......i dont get it but think what you want im not no kid here makin up stuff for fun.i have no idea why one cop on foot would come back there and then pull his gun but i guess you would have to ask him.however dont worry abot me warning anyone anymore since you all seem to take my story as a grain of salt..........
Posted by: badassz24ondubs
well the majority of the side i ride is surrounded by van dusen rd and virginia manor.you dont know that wide open mostly sandy trail that is like 3 mile long and you can see it forever?that is the main feature of where i go because it you can access 99% of the wooded trails from that at some point or another.anyone else know what i am talking about?
Posted by: badassz24ondubs
i am referring to the laurel pits.....i think you are talking about some other place?
Posted by: badassz24ondubs
i rode there last summer, there is still a good chunk left there. its alright for a day but no more.hey quis, where do you live at?
Posted by: badassz24ondubs
you know beyond skip farmers house off of mountain, they have that lil track about a mile long?then there are trails that stretch off of it here and there, one will take you over to sand pits behind coors distributing.you should know what i am talking about
Posted by: badassz24ondubs
so your saying you have to let them kmow when you are coming?? dont you have to go with a member if you wish to go as a guest??
Posted by: badassz24ondubs
i called yesterday and the guy i talked too was really dry,i asked do you have to go with a member to go in as a quest,he said yes,its for members only.i said ok he said bye.end of convo...so i dont know what to think?
Posted by: badassz24ondubs
hey who is going to the place that husky100 has tomorrow??i read this post earlier and pm'ed him about me coming tomorrow, but i have yet to recieve a response.i really wanted to come tomorrow but if i dont know where to go i guess i cant....ill be going to the southern maryland atv park i guess and have to pay all that money,oh well at least ill be riding!!see ya

can someone give me directions to some of these places in MD.
Posted by: 2StrokeSmoke
I rode the pits two weeks ago. Its seems somethings being built out there cause there was a big tractor that tore up about 1/4 of everything so far. No tickets, no cops, but that dude that lives near there stopped us too and said we could park at his house. I don't know. I think it will really be all closed down soon.
I'm sure I've seen some of you out there by now.
I know I met the guy with the zilla and scrambler.
Posted by: 2StrokeSmoke
Zane- Yep, that was us.
What a shame, its such a great riding area. $500 tickets! We might have to fimd a new place to ride....
Posted by: THECVMAN
I don't know if any said but this place is owned by the gravel company near the pit. Watch out there because this weeks trial could be next weeks cliff 20-30 feet straight down. The trucks come in there and a pay loader cuts into the hills SO BE CAREFUL. I'd some riding there in the past and I thinks it still pretty hassle free. There are several ways to get there but the easiest way is:
Off I95 10 miles or so north of the Washington beltway (495) take the exit for Rt. 198 west. Turn left at the first light Sweitzer Lane. Go about 1 mile and turn right. You can just unload along this road since it's all industrial and pretty quite on the weekends. Or continue straight and turn left on Van Dusen there other entrances along the left you just have to keep watch for them. These directions are from memory and I haven't been there in a while but I do go down Sweiter all the time since the UPS terminal is on that road. Good luck, let me know if I'm still on track with these. You could use the UPS web site to get a map to this area.

Hey, my friends all just got their ATV's not too long ago, I still need to get mine. Anyway, they all talk greatly about this place called "the pits" it's right off of Rt. 95 going north near Laurel MD. I beleive that you can actually see this place from Rt.95. I'll have to get back with you about which exit it is off of Rt.95.
Oh, and this place is out in the open (no fees) I guess it's county property but everyone goes there and has been for years!
Good luck!
Posted by: AtvBlaster
Hey Marylanders! My friends and I are going to try our luck tomorrow over at the "pits" in Laurel. My friends went in a large group last Sunday and they had a blast with no problems. I just hope nothing happens but I've been told that it's usually pretty cool and that we don't have much to worry about.
Keeping my fingers crossed for no cops and no accidents.....

Hey EigerMike, I went to the Laurel pits yesterday with a bunch of friends. It was my first time there and boy did we have a blast!!! That place is so enormous!!! We rode all kinds of trails there and some very technical ones as well. I've never been to Hatfields and McCoys but as long as the "pits" is here and we get no heat then I'm pretty happy with this place!!!! Saw a bunch of other riders there too overall about 30 or so guys...
Hey is the place you are talking about off of Rt.5?? There's some power lines there I've seen while getting onto to Rt.5 from Rt.301 it was on my right where I noticed some trails. Is this place safe? I've heard rumours that some guys sometimes get "jacked" for their bikes at gun point!!!!

Hey Tracker12, The "Pits" is probably the same place you're talking about that you went to years ago on your 4x4. It was my first time, but this place is so huge it's not just all that you can see with the naked eye. My friends went with some other guys that knew all the trails and hot spots there and it just keeps going and going. It's an awesome place! The trails were very technical and complicated at some points which made it so good! We did cross over a few roads and went over and under some bridges onto other wooded and open land. I can't wait to go again!!! Once again I have to say that this place is awesome!!!! Hatfields & McCoys who???...lol..jk We just have to keep this low key b/c it's private property...
P.S. I'll "P.M" you with the directions we took and where we parked" don't know who's reading....

Hey EigerMike, if you find out about this place in Bowie let me know. I'm interested in how safe it is from authorities.
Oh, I also sent you a P.M.

Cool, I live in College Park! Yes this is the place you see off of Rt.95. But what you see is just a small part of it. It really stretches far and the trails go on and on! You just have to go with riders who really know their way around this area.
What do you do in College Park? I just went up to the local Motorcycle shop on Rt.1 and picked up my "twist throttle" kit that I ordered from them. I like that shop b/c so far they have great prices that beat most on-line sites b/c you don't have to pay for shipping.

No, this is the small Motorcycle shop in College Park not Laurel. It's near the College Park Honda dealership and Next to the Wheel/rim shop, it's also near the beltway.
Btw, it's cool that a few of us work really close to each other!!!

That sucks dude, sorry you guys got caught. I've only been there once and we left there around 2pm or so. We also parked in another location, hopefully the "piglets" don't find out or go there. This place is too awesome for me to stop going. I guess "I'll cross that bridge when I get there".....
When did you guys get caught? Oh, and do you have more information about that place your mention in PA? (Majestic Trails) I'd surely like to go if it's something like the "Pits" of Laurel.
We should all get together and caravan up there!

Hey guys, I'm planning on going to the Laurel "Pits" sometime this weekend. Not sure on either Saturday or Sunday this will depend on if it rains.. Let me know if you guys want to meet up!
I know this place is private or gov't property but this place is so HUGE and so much fun that I'm willing to take the risk. Actually a couple of weeks ago when I was there I saw about 30 other ATV riders!
I should know on a day by Friday.

Hey "Lovinmyraptor",
Glad the piggies didn't show. When exactly did you guys get caught? Where did they catch you guys at? I'd like to know so I don't go there.
The area where we parked at seemed to be pretty safe. But like I said before "I'll cross that bridge when I get there". This place is too good and close to home to pass up, but I'll keep my eyes opened for the "po-po".

I have to agree with you badassz24ondubs,
I really love that place too and would probably pay a lot of money to ride there legally and safely. Let me know when you and your friends plan on going there again....
Hey by parking at your buddies house the cops can't really mess with you then right? I mean could they confiscate your ATV on the spot?

Now, this was posted back in 2003, but this gives you an idea of where they've been on this subject. If the cops get pressure to crack down on this area, trust me they will and if it gets to that point, they do have the authority to confiscate. Just thought I'd give you all a heads up, remember this was posted in '03, but I imagine that same process still applies.

With this said that the cops were cracking down back in 2003 they must have not been too active with this matter since there are many riders still going there everyday. I know it's still risky but maybe they've slowed down some. Who knows, just keep your eyes open for the "po-po", I know I will the next time I go which is whenever this @#$&ing rain stops and the mud dries some....

Hey Zane! You going to H&M's with a lot of people? My buddies and I may be looking to getting a cabin with other riders to make it cheaper. Just in case you're looking.... no biggie...
Posted by: AtvBlaster
Yeh, I'd like to know too.
Hey Lovinmyraptor, I'll ask my boys around the hood to see when they're thinking about heading out to H&M's. I had no idea it's something like 8 hours to get there!!! That's one hell of a hike! I heard from some friends and this guy at the College Park dirtbike shop that a real decent place to go to that's much closer is "Tower City" in PA. He said it's only about a 2 or so hours to get there.

Yeh, 6.5 hrs. is better than 8 but that all depends on which Trail head you want to ride on. I still want to go though!

Hey Zane and 2stroke,
Was this the place that I could see off of Rt. 5 a little after getting onto it from Rt.301. I think it was by some power lines I noticed some trails.
Posted by: AtvBlaster
Some buddies ask me to go with them to the "pits" today but I turned them down thinking it would probably rain and anyway I'm sure there would be a lot of mudd and some standing water left over from all the rain we've been having. So I'm at work making some extra dough so I can get more @#$% for my ATV!...BR>
Cavaselis, you know where I'm at!....lol... I plan on going next weekend for sure if we have nice weather for a change. Guys, let me know if you want to go so we can all meet up and tear it up!!
Peace out!

I believe you are reffering to the pits right? Anyway, I decided to go there yesterday afternoon for a little while after work with a buddy. I just installed a "twist throttle" set up with some new Renthal handle bars for my 660R. The handle bars were cool but as for the twist throttle, I did not like it at all! I was having such a hard time on the trails. I noticed when you're going over large bumps and slow sharp technical turns you can easily shift your wrist and hit the throttle when you don't want to. This actually made me lose control in 2 separate instances and I almost had a close call with a tree! I'll be switching back to the stock thumb throttle system mainly for safety reasons. I mainly tried the twist throttle b/c of my aching thumb and wrist due to the thumb throttle. I'll just have to deal with it...
As for the condition of the pits, it wasn't too bad there was a lot more standing water but still managed to have a pretty good time. I just wanted to test out the twist throttle and get some riding time before all the wet nasty weather hits.
I'll have a better time after I do the switch over....

Yeh, I'm going too! Sometime this weekend don't know which day, it depends on which day my crew wants to go. I would'nt mind meeting some of you guys though.
What do you guys look like on your bikes? I ride a blue Raptor 660r with Nerf bars and black Renthal handle bars with blue grips. I use a chrome colored helmet.
Describe yourselves that way we can hook up on the trails at the Pits.
Oh, and my name is Eric....

As long as you dont mind riding with a large group of 35+ year old guys. Email me and I will send you our club web site. Ride Safe!!!
With all the recent cop stories and a recent one that my friend told me about that happened just over the weekend at the "Pits" he said on Saturday he was approached by a raggidy pickup truck that he and his boys thought were just 4-wheelin when out came a P.G. county cop and he basically gave them a warning and told them to leave imediately and if he saw them again he would give them $500 tickets and or 90 days in jail!
Anyway, with this said we all might need to start looking for new places to ride where we're not harrassed by cops and land owners. I heard "Tower City" is really cool, never actually been there but heard it's safe with no hassles.
Hey Husky100, I'd like to take on your invitation with some of my buds sometime in the near future. P.M. me with some more info. Anyone else interested in going? We'll can all caravan up!
thanks....

I agree with you Mike. These authorities suck! I know they're just doing their job but there's better, more important things they could be after like city crime and illegal drugs. At the same time I don't want to get caught and get a hefty fine or worse yet jail time and a record!
Okay guys who wants to go to "Tower City"?!?! I'm serious here, I want to gather up some folks here on the forum who usually ride the "Laurel Pits" or live around the area to caravan up to PA. Some friends who are more experienced than me are going to be up there this weekend. So they'll fill me in on some details. I'm still a novice but I'll be able to hang with most guys. Anyway I'm thinking sometime in early June maybe 1st or 2nd weekend.
Anyone interested, respond here. In the meantime I'll get more information on lodging and specifics. There's a website to get more info it's www.towercitytrailriders.org
Let me know, so we can started gathering up some riders! (EigerMike, you may want to be in on this too..)

Hey guys, I talked to someone at the Tower City office and they gave me some information:
Single membership for one year is $250
Riding just for one day is $30
There are local accomadations motels/hotels etc. nearby.
Not sure about the distance but some guys told me it's about 2 to 3 hrs from the D.C. metro area.
I would just be fine riding for just one day since It's my first time there and I'm no expert rider yet.
Let me know who wants to go. Currently they're just accepting small groups of 5 max at the time.
I would like to go either the 1st or 2nd week of June.
Let's go and tear it up!
Posted by: AtvBlaster
Yeh, the guy I spoke to from the Tower City office didn't say I had to bring a member for the $30 one day pass but then I didn't know it's mainly on Sundays but hey that's cool, I'll do that.
Anybody else interested in going for a one day Sunday or when ever they have Saturdays available for a tour at Tower City??
The guy did say though that it's just for a small group of 5 or less.
So who wants to go!!! Let me know so we can get this show on the road!!!
Posted by: AtvBlaster
Hey guys, I'm really considering going to the place that "Husky100" has been posting about in previous threads here. I've been writing to him and he's told me that this area is HUGE and puts other "membership" places like Tower City to shame. He says it's FREE to ride and totally legal to ride to enjoy the trails and hills. By looking at the pictures on the website he sent about his riding club at www.speedballs.org it looks just like "Tower City" but he told me that even though it's looks similar and actually is somewhat near TowerCity it's not and there are primarily miles and miles of sweet trails.
I don't know about you guys but I'd rather ride for free as long as I have someone to guide me through the trails but I guess we could always just use our compasses or even GPS to find our way back! Just an alternative if really necessary.
So who's in! I'm still planning on going the either the first or second week of June depending on what people who want to go want to do.
Let me know!!
Posted by: AtvBlaster
Hey has anyone put much thought about going riding with me and some friends over at the place where "Husky100" is talking about? Some of my friends went to Tower City over the weekend and they told me that they parked somewhere and rode all weekend without having to pay.
Anyone been to these riding places in PA where you can go riding on these great trails and hills at Tower City or around for FREE??
I'm really itching to go riding there because I can't really rely on going to "The Laurel Pits" anymore since the sight of the Police is getting very high there. Anyone been riding there lately? Seen any cops??

Hey guys lets plan this out and head up there. Let me know who's going so we can meet up. We could meet everyone at that rest area going North on rt.95 right before you get to rt.32 near the Laurel pits.

Hey dude. I can make Saturday June 4 with you. I may take a couple of friends too but haven't ask them yet. I'm also considering going with Husky100 up to around the same area. Your girlfriend is welcome to come along with us, like anyone else who is cool can come with us too. Hey, "Husky100" was offering to take us out to where he and his club rides. This place is close to "Tower City" and "Paragon" and has been claimed to be better! and the riding there is free! He says that he'll show us around and show us some good riding! I've been emailing him back and fourth and really sounds like a cool dude! He's a family man and church man which I really like to hear. He has a website with lots of pictures of this riding area which looks just like "Tower City"
www.speedballs.org
I'll get in touch with him to make plans to go June 4th. Hey "lovingmyraptor", I assume you guys have a truck and trailer right? I have a truck and should be able to borrow a buddy's trailer which holds 2 bikes.
Let me know so we can make further plans....
PS. actually I ride a Raptor 660R.

As long as it's alright with "Husky100" then June 4th it is! I was thinking we could all meet at the rest area right off Rt.95 going North bound near the Rt.32 exit.

Hey "Lovinmyraptor" so is Westminster ok to meet up? Choose a common area to meet like a big parking lot at a Wal-Mart or something. Hey dude, maybe you can P.M. your cell # to me so we can further confirm out trip. Also are you guys thinking about staying a night there or just driving home the same day. If I'm too tired to drive home I'll probably crash at a local hotel.
Husky, what time would be good for us to meet you at your riding location?

Hey dude, like I said in your P.M. I'm okay with occasional interruptions. I'm still a novice/intermediate and sometimes find the need for pit stops for one reason or another. No worries with me.
Husky100, will you be okay with "Lovingmyraptor's" requests? I also just got a GPS so that should help us get back to where we need to be if we get lost for one reason or another.

We seen cops but they never bothered us.......when we ride we don't even bother with trucks or trailers.....we ride from our shop on rt1 to powder mill rd and take the back way to the pits. luckily we have never been bothered by the cops(knock on wood) and hopefully we won't in the future. Sunday we rode back and fourth to the shop like 4 times.............
Hey EigerMike,

Went to the Laurel Pits this past Sunday with another friend that knows most of the trails there. Had an awesome time mainly because I tried going up hills that I normally wouldn't do. I just have about 10 hrs or less under my belt so it's an acheivement for me.
Anyway, planned to meet up with "EigerMike" but never quite got the chance to see another in the hundreds of acres the Pits has to offer. I'm really glad though that we didn't come across any 5.0!

I went to the "Pits" a couple of weeks ago and had a blast! Maybe we could hook up there one day. I just have a hard time finding guys to ride with lately. Don't really think it's a good idea to ride alone....
Good luck!

Hey Mike, over the weekend a group of friends and I went to Tower City. We didn't have to pay though. We parked our trucks in a certain area and headed for the hills! We had a blast! It was very intense! We checked out the famous "500" coal hill and even bigger ones! You and your boys should come out with us next time we go, you'll have a great time. If you haven't already been there, let me warn you it's not for the beginner or inexperienced there were trails going up hill that were nothing but big rocks and the faster you went over them the better you were. Some guys say that it makes the "Laurel Pits" look like a sand box!
Don't think I'll be hitting the Pits this weekend I have a lot of maintance to do on my bike after the intense 12 hour ride on Saturday....

LowRecoil, it was my first time going there and we were just following some other friends who have been there many times. I believe we parked off of Rt.901 does road sound familiar? In any case we stayed at "Inn 81" and drove about 15min. away and parked our trucks right off this road. You could probably join us as long as you guys can keep up with us. I'm still working on that myself but am doing better every time. If you read some of the previous posts on this thread the place where I went was what I was talking to "Husky100" about. He belongs to the "speedballs" actually some of my friends knew those guys and their president (Speedy) which I heard rides very fast and almost non-stop!
I'll make sure to post something here the next time we plan a trip back up to Tower City.

Hey I've been away from the ATV scene for a while since August when I got my Harley but now it's getting too cold to ride the cruiser and I want to get back on my Raptor. I've been to Tower City once this past summer and it was a blast and glad I survived it unscaved.
I think I'll need to refresh my skills some so I think I'll be hitting my local riding ground the "Laurel Pits" in MD. Has anyone been there lately? Any changes as far as with the local authorities blocking up paths or entry ways or even more appearances from them?
Hope to see some of you guys soon....
Ride hard but be safe!

Hello,
Been looking for some new people to ride with. My friends rarely wanna go out anymore so I'm down to one riding buddy that is usually stuck at work or busy with other resposibilities. I usually head up to "The Pits" of Laurel/Beltsville Maryland. It's a pretty cool place that's pretty big with a variety of riding conditions to offer. It's also about 10 minutes away from my house.
If anyone is interested in riding with me sometime please let me know. I'll show you what I know at my stomping ground. I'm always open for new places too so maybe we can meet up? I usually go riding on the weekends with a little notice so I can get the ok from the wify....lol..
Let's go riding! No excuses!

Hey how's it going! Just rode the "Pits" yesterday with about 6 other guys. We had a blast there! There were a bunch of other people there with dirt bikes and 4-wheelers. We even helped these guys get there Bronco out of the mud!
Hit me with a P.M. here and we can plan on meeting up to go riding at this place I'm talking about. We most likely will ride again this weekend, not sure on the day, might depend on the weather but we usually go on Sundays.

Hey burkie1857,
How does your family like those new atv's? Pretty big purchase! Hope you guys have fun on them, but remember to be safe!
I've never had any problems riding at the "Pits" although like any other private property you can sometimes run into an authority but we just keep it a little low key and we try at all cost to keep from getting into trouble. You guys are welcome to join me and my buddies. We usually ride on weekends usually on Sundays but weather can change that. We'll most likely be riding the "Pits" this weekend. Hey Megan,
I've actually spoken to "Husky100" about going on a ride to Tower City. This was last year around the begining of the summer. Never got a chance to hook up with the "Speedballers" but later got invited by another group of friends that went to Tower City. It was a blast! Lots of challenging terrain up there especially those gigantic coal mountains like the 500! I noticed your pictures, pretty nice shots! I was noticing that you guys sometimes ride through pretty deep water and mud. I ride a sport quad (Raptor 660) so I wouldn't be able to tackle all those deep water and mud puddles like you guys do on those 4wd utility quads. Are there any guys with sport quads like me that ride with you guys? I just wouldn't want to get stuck and not be able to get myself out. I'd like to join you guys one day and ride the Tower City area again.

Has anyone ridden right off Coca-Cola drive that is just before Arundel Mills Mall on Rt 100?? I always see guys riding there so I was curious if anyone on here has been there.
Hope your wife doesn't get shocked when you tell her how much all three bikes were! jk Hope you guys have fun though and don't forget to ride safe!
I'll drop you a P.M. by tomorrow to let you know what day we're going to the "Pits". We usually go on Sundays but it would suck to ride in the rain especially when it's cold out! You are more than welcome to join us although I don't recommend your family going with you until they have some good riding experience under their belt.
I have heard of some people riding off of Coca-Cola drive. There's a guy that's supposed to show me that riding area one day. He says it's pretty good. I've heard from another guy that it isn't very big and that there are cops sometimes spotted. The first guy tells me that he's never had any problems. I guess I just have to see it for my self to judge.

Sounds good Megan! It's a releif to know that you guys would help me if I get stuck!...lol.
When and where are you guys planning your next trip? I would love to join you guys for the ride!

Hello people,
Looks like this Saturday is going to be the ideal day to go riding at the "Pits". So please get in contact with me if you'd like to go riding by sending me a "PM". I'd say we can meet at 11am. In your PM you can leave me a number so that I can call you if you need directions or more info.
Looking forward to seeing you guys so we can go riding this Saturday.

I would love to try out the Pitts but both Jeff and I have to work Sat. We are suppose to do a Speedball ride this Sunday, but now Jeff is telling me he is going to have to work 1/2 day so I think we are just going to do a local ride. Uless he takes off, which hopefully he does. Fingers crossed. The website for the speedballs is <a class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://speedyracer0.tripod.com/" target=blank>Speedballs link</A> From there you can get a ride schedule and view some pics from previous rides. The president Speedy is on this forum his user name is Speedyracer0. He is a very friendly person.
Hey Megan,
Hope you and Jeff can join us for a day of riding at my local spot "The Pits". I think you guys will like this place because it has a bit of everything all packed into one place. Of course it doesn't compare to riding "Tower City" but it's much closer and still a lot of fun.
Thanks for the info on the "speedballs" site. I've actually been there before and have emailed back and forth with the president "Speedy" himself (Your AARP atv buddy!) he is a really nice guy. I'll definitely plan on joining you guys hopefully by this Spring if not earlier. BTW, where were you guys going to ride this weekend with the Speedballs?
Have a nice weekend!

So you out grew the 350 eh? How do you like the 700? Any problems with the fuel injection operation or any other? That would probably be the bike I would get next but don't know too much how it's doing with everybody.
We always park on the back side of the Fedex building facing the woods when we go to the Pits. Wish you could come on down so I could check out your new 700! Let me know when your planning a trip. I still would like to go to Hatfield & McCoys but heard it's quite a hike! Tower City's pretty cool though..I may ride the Coca-Cola drive trails sometime soon with some friends.

We went to Brandywine this past Saturday. It was a lot of fun. Mostly trails and mud, which is good for the utility ATV's. ATVblaster went with his Rapter and didn't have any issues with getting stuck. Be aware of the first downhill if you go.....I almost flipped on my bike but got off just in time. Other than that....it was a pretty fun ride. Lots of trails out there!!! Look forward to going again....Let me know if anyone is interested in another ride.
Like "Luke700Sportman" said we went to Branywine last Saturday. First though we all met along with "Tracker12" at the Laurel "Pits" over by the Fedex buildings. Well, just as we had unloaded and about to take off riding a PG county cop shows up tells us to leave on counts of it being private property and jets out. We all knew that it was the bastards at the nearby buildings that sold us out to the cops. We will go back to the Pits we just wont be parking there any more.
So we were pissed but decided to try and check out the riding at Brandywine off of Rt.301. After spending some time looking for a decent place to park we rode around and had a pretty good time there was a lot of mud in certain places and I actually got stuck once, luckily "Tracker12" pulled me out with his winch on his quad. If I had some good "mudmachines" tires I probably would have gotten out my self. Luke700Sportman flipped his quad going down a hill he was fine but when we flipped the bike over it shot out in our amazement and took off full blast running up the hill! We all could not believe it!! Luckily it went into the woods and shut off without crashing into any trees.
It was quite a experience and would love to do it again without any incidences of course...

Yeh, like "Luke700Sportman " said we went to the "Pits" this past Saturday. We actually had a pretty good time riding in the rain. My day came to a bit of a hault after trying to climb up this steep hill which I did before but this time there was more mud so I got stuck at the precipice of the hill and began to roll backwards. I then began to panic so I accidentally hit the rear brake and a backward flippin I went! I actually landed on the ground first but then the bike hit my helmet and backpak and continued flippin down the hill and landed on it's tires. I was really lucky just got a small bruise on my leg, glad I had a helmet on and a puffy backpak to take all the impact. I see this as a learning experience though. I know what not to do now and like not hitting the rear brake when rolling backwards!
everyone ride safe!
P.S. Let me or "Luke700Sportman" know if anyone wants to ride with us at the "Pits". We found a new parking spot. Don't park at Fedex anymore! Unless you want a greeting from PG. county police!

Hey Lovinmyraptor700!
I'll let you know the next time I go riding with the guys. This won't be till I get back from vacation in the beginning of March.
Ride hard but ride safe!
P.S. Notice I put "700" since you're now sporting that new Raptor....

I'll be riding this weekend with "luke700sportman" and possibly "Tracker12" and who ever else wants to join us. We were talking about hitting some trails in Charles Co. if that doesn't workout then we'll just be hitting the good o'l Laurel Pits. I love that place it's pretty vast and it's so close to home and it's a little easier on us now since we found a new parking spot that so far has been good.
Anyone else who would like to join us is welcome. Just shoot me a PM or write back here.
Ride safe...

Hey "lovingmyraptor",
It was nice hearing from you too yesterday. Hope you and Burkie can tag along with us this Sunday. If not we need to plan a trip to that place you mentioned "taskersgap"... That sounds like a really cool place!
Anyone else wanna tag along is always welcome.. I always think it's more fun riding with lots of people, especially if you get into some trouble...

Hey, has anyone been to the Laurel "Pits" lately? Within the past few weeks I've heard that there was a shooting. Evidentally some guys approached a rider and when the rider tried to take off he was shot in the back! I heard he made it out okay' thank God. My buddy that lives near there told me about this and even my wife heard about it on the news. My other friend who's brother's a P.G. county cop told her that a couple weeks ago someone was "car-jacked" as they were leaving that area with his bike in the trailer and took off with everything!
I haven't been riding for over a month due to my rear end falling apart on me and I'm just now getting it slowly put back together. Not sure if I'll be riding the Pits for a while also because the area should be a bit "hot" with cops scoping the place out more in-depth.
Anyone else heard about this or have been riding the "Pits" lately?
Posted by: AtvBlaster
Hey Mike, thanks for giving us the scoop on that Southern MD ATV park. "lovinmyraptor" has been there once too and he said it really wasn't all that. Man, I sure would love to go back to the "Pits" but after all the stuff that I heard in the news about that place I don't think I would want to find my self in the hands of those car jackers or in the hands of the authorities. Hit me up sometime so you can hook up with some of my friends including "Lovinmyraptor" and some other guys I met here so we can go riding sometime. We're even planning a trip somtime in Aug to "Hatfield & Mccoys" but we go to some closer places also like "Taskers gap".
Peace out...

Hey bud! Hope all is well. Sorry I haven't been out riding. I've had some bad luck in trying to get my bike back together. I may need to get a new sprocket and hub to complete it. I'll give you a call as soon as my bike's ready. Have fun and be safe, that goes for everyone as well...

Hey what's up Mike! So are you getting out of offroading or ATV riding all together? Have fun with your R1. Be cautious riding it now not just because it's cold that's nothing but be careful with all the road salt that has been laid down everywhere! This stuff can be like marbles under your street bike. I know....been close but lucky riding my 2 Harley's.....
On another note I plan on purchasing a new atv this time a big quad (2007 Honda Rincon w/GPS) can't wait! I'm tired of watching all those guys pass me through the thick mud and deep puddles with their 4x4 quads.....It's my turn!
Posted by: AtvBlaster
Hey Sat4314,
You are right....sadly there aren't too many safe places here in MD either it's private property and you have to watch out for cops handing out fines or waiting to impound your sh*t. I've been to "Paragon" a few times it's a pretty cool place and reasonably priced too at only around $25. Gets a little crowded at times but what are you going to do.. You forgot to mention "Taskers Gap" which is in VA. I beleive and it's totally free! They close sometimes during the year for maintance but it's best to check out information on the web. My friends have recently been to "the Cove" and they said that they've had a blast so far and they all ride sport quads. I've been to the Tower City area before but not actually to the park but we parked close by I believe and rode for hours and hours without paying anything. At that time I didn't really know that a paid ATV park was there. And of course, if you want to make the trek there's Hatfield & McCoys like you mentioned is supposed to be one of the best offroad parks on the east!

I'm looking as well, let me know what you find. I've posted a couple times in different forums and I assume I'll find a couple spots. There's the Budds Creek park down south that sounds nice, just got to pay some $$$.
zancr@yahoo.com
Posted by: ZANE
Hey Poopy, any chance you all are looking for more riders? Also, has anyone actually rode at Budds Creek? Their website says they don't allow casual riding, only racing events. I've been to the ATV park next to Budds, and it fails in comparison. I would love to ride Budds some day. Anyone have connection?
Posted by: ZANE
Tracker,
was that the place off N Keys road? I went by there a week ago and someone intentionally knocked down some tress blocking the access. Was it cleared up when you went?
Posted by: ZANE
Thanks Eiger, let us know what you find out. I can't speak for all, but I'm limiting myself to places that I KNOW are legal. I'll have my 5y/o with me and I don't care to take any chances with him around. Thanks again. Z
Posted by: ZANE
Thanks Eiger, here's what I found today. This past weekend some guys decided to go to the place off 301 (N. Keys). They found the knocked over trees and walked up to see what was going on. They noticed some dozer equipment and ran into a guy that lived near by. The guy said they could park at his house and ride to the area. When they decided to go riding next they couldn't get a hold of the guy. They went up and rode the area anyway only to find cops waiting and handing out $500 tickets. They all have to appear in court now. Turns out the trees that are down are a result of some Natural Resources provision. So, I don't know full details but this is the second or third case of someone riding and getting slapped with a $500 ticket (different areas). Mix this with Trackers finding all the equipment, it sounds like something is going on and that placed can be scratched off the list.
If anyone hears differently or more info please share. Thanks.

Hey all, I've been keeping up with your posts and thought I'd throw something in. I can't recall the forum, but I specifically recall an Officer jumping in and stating they were cracking down, they were aware of the Laurel pits and they do have the authority to confiscate quads if needed.

Well, if you're waiting for the rain to stop you may want to kick back and relax awhile. According to the wx website we're looking at rain for the next week and a half, not to mention the potential for snow on Monday. I've only got two months to get as much riding in as possible before I take off for Germany, and this rain/cold wx is definately taking it's toll. Thanks to robbls I'm going to Hatfield-McCoys next months!!!!!
Good luck on the riding and don't be hatin' on the "po-po."

I'm actually tagging along with some other guys I meet on here. They're a bunch of old friends looking for someone to share expenses and I jumped at the chance. I apprecaite the offer, trust me I'd jump that direction if this wouldn't have worked.
As far as I know the Hatfield area is about 8 hrs away, as for trailhead distances I'm not too certain. I only hear AWESOME things about the places and getting a bucnh of folks together and splitting a cabin is the way to go. I think the place we're staying at holds eight.
Posted by: ZANE
I'll definately let you all know how everything goes from Hatfields and how long it took. Also, I did some indepth research on areas to ride around here and for the most part if you want to ride legally you'll drive at least an hour. Here's a link (http://atving.freeservers.com/) that has most of the riding spots around. Scroll to the bottom and go ATV links. The first link is other MD areas that lists even more. Some places are free (George Washington Forest/Taskers Gap) and some are up to $50 (S MD ATV, The Landing and DE areas). There are a couple parks that are cheaper, one I was looking at was Tomahawk in WV. I think it's about 2 hours.
Good luck!
Posted by: ZANE
2stroke, I placed a post on that place off 301, is that the place you're talking about? There's been a couple of folks talking about getting tickets there recently. Also, I think I saw you out there the one time I went...were you guys using a Mustang with a trailer or something?
Posted by: ZANE
Yeah I know.. the way I found out was with my 5y/o son, I'm lucky not getting nailed myself. I don't know if you remember but we were the ones leaving in a Toyota 4x4 and a green fullsize Ram.
Posted by: ZANE
The actual area we're talking about is more secluded, but you can get to that powerline area from this place. I was only there once before all this crap started happening, but I've heard you can jump onto a lot of trails from this area.

Where is that place located out at Laurel. I used to live in that area years ago and we used to 4x4 at a place not far off of I95. Got some directions.
I rode that place in Brandywine yesterday. Was hardley noone there. Also a bulldozer was in there and took out most of the area we used to ride. Leveled out the hils and tore up the area pretty bad. I think that area is getting ready to die off.
Posted by: Tracker12
I believe that is the same place.
Posted by: Tracker12
Thanks I am looking at going this weekend.

This is a great place to ride, but when somebody gets hurt, it gets crawling with po po.It is all posted , so when you get caught, they MAY give you a 500$ no trespassing , must appear in court, ticket, along with the stipulation that you get to walk the thousand acre perimeter and post the owners NO TRESPASSING signs on every tree.Lots of places to enter and exit, but whatever you do, don't park at the gates right next to Rt. 95, because if they are out for fresh meat that day, they WILL start paperhanging there! good luck!
Posted by: LOVINMYRAPTOR350
this monday i have court w/ my two brothers and dad for riding in laurel @ "the pits" , they wont come in and get you they just circle the perimiter untyil you leave , they say the heats on because of the constant repeat offenders and if you live in that area that really piss's the fuzz off, these guys jumped out screaming and stuff you would have thought these guys had lost there mind and we got tickets while loading the bikes off property so they never even saw us riding just figured so we got poped !
Posted by: LOVINMYRAPTOR350
they had just built a small industrial park set of buildings next to martin luther middle school on amaendale rd so everybody used to park between the buildings and ride across the street on to the property, worked a whole bunch of times then i guess we got to cocky! dont believe the hype, the cop was tellin us that there is PG cops stationed all around the perimiter they wait til it starts to get late and riders start coming out, there were guys racing away on public streets to avoid the ticket a couple of guys rode out while the cops were writing tickets they saw the guys come out and made a call over the cb and seconds later more squad cars!

(thread by husky100)
I have been reading all the threads from guys from the Southeast PA, Delaware region, N.J area and Maryland all looking for a place to ride. I found a place to ride that has a endless amount of trails. I suggest that you go with someone that knows the area as you can get lost. Not even GPS can help you on these trails. If you are interested in going riding with me and the members of my ATC club please send me a AIM. This is a 10-16 hour ride covering many towns and averaging over 100 miles. We get gas along the way. This is not for a beginner. The pace is fast and hard over some of the most techical terrain you will ever experience. 95% of the riders are over the age of 30 and have been riding for 15+ years. Bikes will be put to the test along with the riders. I ride this area every other weekend and I am always looking for new faces. We normally have 30-40 people say they are coming with only 6-8 showing up with maybe 2 of them returning back on the next ride. You will truly find out if you love ATVs on this trip. The quad of choice is 650+ cc in the 4w/d version although sport quads are more then welcome as they do pretty good providing they prepare there unit with the right set of tires etc.. let me know and I will see you on the trail!!!

husky100 is this the place your talking about? you say that you should have a quad 650cc and up to go where your going? i have a sport quad 350cc would i not even stand a chance there?

i live right off 32 & 26 near westminister,my friend said when he goes to tower city he drives through westminster so. . . . .

one question, now i usually ride trails but my girlfriend is a newb, and my old man is always pissin and these things add up to one thing (alot of pit stops) , are these interuptions going to bother anyone?, the only thing i worry about is pissing off people cause were draggin ass, for instance if one of us wanted to stop and take a leisurly brake would everyone have to stop and wait as well? i have been riding since i was a little kid im 24 now and i could go for hours straight but with my company i dont want to slow anyone else down . . what do you think? i hope it isnt going to be a problem
Posted by: LOVINMYRAPTOR350
is it possible to ride there at our own pace without the group? we have gps!

anyone been out? after i hit a tree w/ my raptor and bent the steering stem and busted the tierods up i took my 96 warrior to the tomahawk mx track in wv and blew 2 shocks , i am having a bad run of luck
Posted by: LOVINMYRAPTOR350
actually parts where here today after work so im gonna get on that, i actually used to live in montgomery county and rode the pits in the early/mid 90s back when there wasnt even anything around and ammandale road was a little 2 lane road with nothing on the other end you could park on the side of the road and seldom saw anyone but that was a long time ago atleast 10 years ago, i hadnt been there for a few years when i bought my first atv in early 04 when i went back and then i got a ticket so i decided to stay away but when you live in md you have to be hardcore to ride cause with so few riding spots its either gonna hit your wallet with admission costs or you wallet with the gas to get there, but im always looking for somewhere new i actually ran into some guys the day i wrecked my bike and they where tellin me raush creek is pretty awesome so i really wanna check that out but ill hit you up when im back in order!
Posted by: LOVINMYRAPTOR350
anyone been to raush creek?
Posted by: LOVINMYRAPTOR350
are there any atv clubs in md on this forum and is there anyone organizing a trip to hatfield and maccoys this summer?

where are these trails in mount airy?
Posted by: LOVINMYRAPTOR350
yeah i was down there not to long ago, i just bought a raptor 70o so im lookin at getting alot of seat time in, where are you guys parking? do you ride anywhere else?ill pm you next time im goin out
Posted by: LOVINMYRAPTOR350
atv blaster,
yeah outgrew the 350, i went to h&m last year three time and it was a six hour drive but when you get there youll realize why people make the haul , at the camp groungs we were the closest people there, there were people from long island, ohio new york, allover the place, i cannot wait to go back down you ride for like 6-7 hours aday without hitting the same trails its like an XC race for amatuers i am going to organize a trip this summer so i will post it when it gets warmer hopefully theres enough marylanders around to get somethin goin saturday im goin to check out the southern md atv park, have you ever been to taskers gap in va? i went to tower city once but it was just too rocky and it turned everything black! i like raush creek though, tight technical trails thats what i like!
Posted by: LOVINMYRAPTOR350
burkie,
i started on a 250 ex then bought a raptor 350 and the raptor 700 is just awesome the powerband is amazing and the the suspension is awesome also i dont think i will need another bike!!i took it to the southern md atv park today and i was so impressed! there was alittle mx track there and they set up a adult sport quad race and i joied in there was like 10 guys or so on 450r's and z 400 and predators and my 700 stock hung right in there and these guys had tricked out bikes so yes the 700 is an awesome quad!
Posted by: LOVINMYRAPTOR350
anyone hittin the pits sunday before the game?
Posted by: LOVINMYRAPTOR350
thanks luke
Posted by: LOVINMYRAPTOR350
atv blaster,
pm me next time you guys are going out!
Posted by: LOVINMYRAPTOR350
whos goin out this weekend?

wish it was that easy, southern md atv in waldorf had a hell of a time getting that place put together, you can find those details on the net, the EPA made them do study after study to get a realistic effect on what the trails would have on not only the terrain but the enviroment and homes to animals, it was an uphill battle plus you still need insurance on a place like that because those waivers your signing arent bulletproof everyone signes the waiver then they do somethin stupid and then they sue and it makes it hard on evrybody but thats the society we live in . . . . . . . . . . .anyone riding????? im in sykesville
