Is wellsville open year round? Are there alot of parking areas? Can you camp where you park?Would it be worth a few hours drive to get there?

There's lots of places in NE Ohio ride. I've lived in Canton all my life. Here's a couple pay to ride places I've been:
1. Bear Creek, East Sparta (15 min. from Canton)
2. Elson St. Riding Park, Waynesburg (15 min. from Canton)
3. Crow Canyon, Urichsville (35 min. from Canton)
Hang around the bike shops and you'll here about some strip mines in East Sparta, Mineral City, East Canton, and Minerva that are all free to ride at.
Plus there's other events like Rumble on the Ridge (2 hrs. away), Rally at Herrick Valley (2 hrs. away), and Powerline Park (2 1/2 hrs. away)
And the granddaddy of them all--Wellsville (1 1/2 hrs. away). GHood luck and happy riding.

First of all welcome to the forum to both of you..
There are a lot of tracks around the dover/phila area, this is just north of me.
I'm more into trail riding so I haven't been to all the tracks yet.
For trail riding the is wayne national forest to the south
Wellsville to the east, and a large variety of smaller ones in between.

As far as the wellsville riding area goes, i just went there yesterday for the first time and wow is that rough on quads. AT least the places we went were extremely rough on bikes. About every 15 feet on a trail there was a big rut, footy hill, revine, whatever. Tons of rocks and most hills have ruts going most of the way up em. If you know of a better area to ride in the wellsville spot, lemme know. We came in through the industrial park area.

Im not a beginner by any means ive been riding for well over 10 years, i just didnt like that kind of ride, i want to go like hell, not be stuck in first and second gear all day. Good spot to take a weekend off and chill at though.
