Let's all get together. I just moved here from Sacramento, living in Raleigh now. I was having hte same level of difficulty as fst4wrd. Leaving friends and losing my riding sports killed me a bit. I just need to get out there I guess. I ordered my 05 YFZ (put a deposit) and got ALL of my mods and new trailer here. gonna be good to go in a couple weeks.

Looking to pick up the family and move to Wilmington, I am having a hard time finding any ride spots near there. I am really not looking to drive 3 hours to ride and giving up ATVing will be just as painful as it is to leave my riding buds that I have here. Any help will be great
Thanks

Thanks guys , your replies have just made our decision of moving alot easier. My wife was born and raised here and it shocked me that she is all for this move. We are looking forward to living and raising or family in N.C.

Well, theres Brown mtn(Morganton,NC), Uwharrie state park(Near Moore,NC). There are also two places called "Big Dawg's", and Brushy mtn is another public riding area. Go, and check out AtvNC.com. They have a "rides and events" forum that you can find out the scope on riding scene. Man, NC is a GREAT state for riding. Yes you have to drive between 1hr-3hr. to get to the area's, but man I wish I had this many places to ride when I lived in Va. We didn't have ANYTHING! If you wanna ride, you gotta drive.

Sounds great FsT4WrD. Make sure to drop us a line when you get into town. We'll show ya around the scene.
