I'm heading to the inlaws this weekend. I doubt if I will be riding on the Mississippi gravle bar since it will hit flood stage this weekend. Maybe just some light racing in the soybean fields.

Hey, I'm a fat boy so do I get to state my opinion on BBQ? If so, I think Chubby's BBQ in Hayti has the best sauce. Especially their hot! Don't bother eating at the Branding Iron in Jackson though. It was bad. All you could taste in their sauce was raisins.

We made it down to St.Joe Fri& Sat. had a goodtime and thanks for the tip on Whs BBQ Sure was tasty after rideng all day. The new Maxis Bighorns I put on my Cat hooked up real good. Only problem was when a buddy of mine rolled it down one of the big hills south of the parking area. Bent the rear rack and handle bars, bent them back when I got home but,I did see my choke lever got busted off and my trip ode meter does,t reset now. It did 2 flips before hitting a tree about 1/3the way down ,really saved the quad. after the tree it was 50' or so straight down! I did have to break the bead on 3 of the tiresas mud and junk got wedged in and left me withn 3 flats. I think I need to run a bit more air pressure in them. I was at 5psi and i bumped it up to 7psi. Planning on returning to St. Joe in late May.

I thought about going Saturday. Looks like I'll be home and I should be able to go. Why does it always have to rain whenever I'm going to be off work?! I even got my new Padla Brats today!
Well if no one else is going, maybe I'll skip it and take the wife out. Wonder if she'd like to go and take Honda up on their 6.9% offer on a 450R?? Or I might just take the DS and do some "normal" riding.
Anyways, from what I've heard, the showers are supposed to hold off until late Saturday. I guess I'll have to see when it gets here.

Be sure to check out Warehouse BBQ. It is close to the park and it is within a mile of your hotel. Good eating, and very generous portions.
I'll be there Saturday, assuming that I do make it back from STL in time & of course weather permitting. I guess I'll bring out the Banshee and maybe the DS too.

Looks like I'll be there even though I just now got home from work. I sure am tired. Anyways, I prefer WHSE BBQ over Dexter BBQ any day. Both BBQs are really good, but WHSE's sauce is much better tasting to me.

Well guys i think i am out for this comming weekend. I called Kenny the guy that works on my bikes and he told me that he has like 10 bikes in front of mine to be fixed. He asked when i needed it back and i just told him i would like to have to back befor the playday at Bonne Terre. He said that it should be no problem. Well i thought i would let u guys know what was going on talk to u later.

Speaking of off-road riding (sorry, don't even know where Fulton is) Flagless came out this afternoon and made a nice hole in the tractor shed with the 400EX. Looks like the damage was right side a-arms, front bumper, a new pair of pants, some road rash, one sheet of siding, some trim, paint, and the humilation of having his dad post it all on here for everybody to see. Hey, I gave him my best sage advice! "Boy, you be careful! That thing'll skin ya!"
Fortunately, he seems to be fine. A bit shaken up after a trip over the handlebars and all. He's at home licking his wounds right now. Maybe I'll let him drive the Cat this weekend.....
I think we're planning on Saturday right now. Looks like the best shot. Bringing the enclosed trailer in case it rains so we'll have a place to hide out in. Bring a lawn chair and some ice tea.

Good to see you guys again. Sorry we had to leave so soon but we had to pick up some jets for the Raptor. Never thought it would be such a pain to change them out. Biggin worked all evening getting it done.

Yeah, I think the whole rain issue is going to be the determining factor for the 400CatDriver crew. We'll just have to wait it out until tomorrow night and check the forecast then. Stupid rain, who needs all this water stuff anyhow?
