ATV's in Texas are titled as Off Road Vehicles. Since it is titled that way, there is no way to make it street legal. As for riding on the roads, depends on the road and who stops you. Have ridden on county roads with no problem. Have ridden on a two lane spur once, well off to the side, slowing or stopping when traffic went by. Again, haven't had any problems yet, but depending on the attitude of who stops you and your attitude to them can make a big difference.

Not sure about the two mile thing. I do know if you are using a vehicle (tractors and such) on a public road it a has to at least have the orange (I think) triangle on it, and when possible, yield to traffic.

is it possible to ride an atv on the road leagally, is there a way to make it streat legal? i know about the 2 mile farm thing but that is iffy and i dont trust it and i have a cop that lives next door. we do live out in the middle of no were tho
this is in texas.
