The Jeepers spend an entire weekend winching their Jeeps up Suprise canyon every year. Don't sound like fun to me. I guess there's an old ghost town at the top that would be fun to explore. Maybe there's a back way in?

Anybody ride these areas??? Any info.??? Is the ride worth a 2 hour drive??? The map shows a couple of trail sections as "advanced 4 wd". Any technical trails???

BlueLeader-We did Jawbone last weekend, and I didn't really like it! Whooped out sand trails, and killer 1,000' loose hill climbs.
Chris-You mean the Surprise Canyon up by Ballarat??? It has a bunch of water falls, but is now unfortunately closed. Check out the pictures of the International, from the 70's!

As we were leaving, we drove over to the Dove Springs staging area just to check it out. Can't say it looked all that impressive either. Didn't have time to ride there though. Will have to make another trip, before I give up on the place completely.
