love to ride with you easterners some time....

Hey guys I am moving back to spokane in about a month and will be looking for fun people to go riding with. I have done alot of riding over on the western part of the state and have had a blast. I own a Kodiak 450 so I like doing the trail and rocky type of rides as well as logging roads. If you guys are interested let me know, I am looking at going riding when ever I get the chance so I will be up for it almost all the time.

If you guys ever come over to the west side take a look at the Puget Sound tread there are alot of great and fun people in that thread that just love to ride and get together for different things like work parties and pizza feeds and stuff. Get to know these people they are a great wealth of information.

Again I would be very interested in getting something started that is like the puget sound area riders have where they get together and do things and work on the trials. Let me know if you guys are interested.

Hey guys I want to ride with ya, I got all excited seeing this thread. I just got my quad last fall and the only place I know where to go is the ORV park in Spokane called 7-mile, I think its the River side state park. I getting tried of riding in the same place all the time. I don't really know anyone else that has a quad either so that sucks too. I love trail riding, I work on the week-ends but I get off work during the week at noon. So send me an e-mail or something. Later Steve

Cool I'll have to check it out, if I had a trailer I'd pick ya up. I just have a truck to haul mine around.

Well I went out to the ORV park here in spokane today, it was nice still a few wet spots but mostly dry. Starting to get alot more people out there now with the nice weather.

Hi Kevin
I'm relatively new to this sport, but I live in the Spokane area.
I used to ride ATV's a lot when I was in the military - I worked at the Air Force Survival School north of Spokane, and we used ATVs quite a bit, but we were pretty limited in where we went and how they were ridden.
In the last year I decided to get back into riding, and a couple of guys I know have ATV's, so I bought a new machine late last fall. It initially had a couple of problems, but it now seems to run just fine. THe short story is that I don't know about the trails and riding opportunities in the area, but I want to learn where to go and what to avoid, so I'm also looking for a group of riders from the area.

I was out riding at Liberty Lake ORV Park on Sunday, and it was very soupy.
I assume the Riverside State Park ORV park has probably dried out some since it is mostly sandy soil.

I've gotta get my universals replaced before I can tow my ATV. Last time out I was getting a serious vibration, so ...
Got an appointment for next Wednesday, then I'll be in Wenatchee next weekend. How's Riverside Park in two weeks sound????

I'm kinda stuck - I've figured out that my truck was fine, but there is a strong vibration coming form my ATV trailer. THe dealer sent me to the manufacturer (in Couer d'Alene) and he says that it might be a problem with the axles, and he has new ones on order, and he expects them to arrive in about three weeks. So unless I want to risk it, I'm high and dry for a while.
There is a nice ATV/ORV park at the south end of Liberty Lake. It's small, but has a good mix of challenging trails, hills, climbs, and a "Giant Mud Pit". It's worth checking out.

Just a heads-up, I am gonna try to get out to the 7 Mile ORV park on Friday. Hopefully the honey-do list will be short and the weather will cooperate!
