never been to Oregon, I would like to go there some day but for now i ride at St. Joe state park. there are some fast bikes that go down there. My friends and i are planning to go to O.K in may. I was told there is some times there. i hope i get to make it.

I ride the Oregon dunes. I like the area between Reedsport and Florence. Occasionally go to Winchester to enjoy the big hills. I will be there this summer for a week or two, July or August. Probably stay at Horsfall or Spinreel. Have friends who live in Florence.

There is a lot of good dune riding between Coos Bay and Florence. I had to avoid Winchester Bay when the sand festival was in town. What a zoo. I could barely drive down the road to get to the dunes. I have had good luck staying in Florence. There is an RV park just south of Honeyman state park that has all the hookups and you can ride directly onto the dunes year round. I think it was called Woahink lake. You can access the dunes directly from Honeyman after October 31st. Don't know when they close the access down in the beginning of the year.
