every mornin when i would get up he would be in the back yard eatin the grass......then when i would walk around the corner he would lift his head and walk to me...he never did try to break in to the pastures with the mares....or go in the barn where the alf was....i guess the grass was like chocolate cake to him

Its kinda frustrating when you spend the time to perfect something and someone thinks its fun to fock it up.. Now will have to take the road grader back down there and cut another couple inches in the 14' of the blade of grade to be able to get it all even. and fence posts will be installed immediatly thereafter. People just prove time and time again that they have no brains.. Im thinkin I outta go over to that dudes house and do some dougnuts in his font yard.

our stud used to go around and let all the horses outta their fields. he was a real pain in the butt. He is pretty mellow as a gelding now. a couple of the mare's will Open gates and cause general mischief also.

I ended up putting her in the womens class in the afternoon. She started on the 450, but didn't like it on the small track yet. So she rode her blaster. That was the best race of the day for her, she did great.
I know doing all the races is a lot, but hopefully we'll see ya out there again. You're always welcome in the trailer. If the weather is yucky, we got plenty of ez-up's, awning, and trailer to keep ya guys dry. And I'm sure Matt would love to have Jakie come in to watch movies.

Dropping the trailer off Friday night, but I won't be there Saturday, but the girls may.

Been working for us, my wife and I, for over 44 years now. No problems, no trips to jail, just a great passion, partnership, relationship and commitment with grown children and now grandchildren. Balls in her purse?????? Let me tell you young man. While I'm out riding tomorrow, SWMBO, will be cleaning up the inside of the camper left over from our trip to East Fort Rock recently. Now, does that sound like she carries my balls in her purse????? Of course, I cleaned up the quads, changed the oil and filters and cleaned the air filters and put away the other riding gear on saturday and sunday. It's a compromise all around and until you learn to do that there isn't a woman on this planet that will put up with you on a permanet basis.

His bloodwork has been showing improvement the last few days.. He may go home in the next couple if it can be figured out how to get him to eat and not vommint He is definatly the most expensive dog ever in my family.

My dog is an expensive dog too. He got hit by a car 3 years ago. Just to save his leg was $6500. That is not including nutering and ripped open shoulder which included suregery and weekly visits to clean it and take the stitches out.

well lepto is extreamly contagiouse just like parvo and any where he has been needs to be treated or you could go through all this again ...... if you have any kinda sprayer it will make the job easyier just put bleach in the water and it should do the trick......but ask the vet to make sure

Nope.. I havent got that kinda info.. but the dog is moving to my oldest brothers vet where he can get the neccesary care for less $$$ and hopefully he will recover.
well lepto is extreamly contagiouse just like parvo and any where he has been needs to be treated or you could go through all this again ...... if you have any kinda sprayer it will make the job easyier just put bleach in the water and it should do the trick......but ask the vet to make sure

Did you get some lapping compound and lap the fly wheel to the crank like I suggested? It's a quick an easy way to see if it's seating on the taper properly.

Because of the aggressive cams and cam timing, it does backfire. It shears the key at this point. However, the motor did run with this set-up down at the dunes and it ran good, so I'm not tempted to change that part.

Ask him about some type of 2 step ign timing module that will retard the timing while cranking so it doesn't want to kick back so hard.

Is this one of those goofy two piece flywheels? Those things will sometimes allow the hub to slip inside the rim. I have also seen cranks twist slightly throwing the engine out of time. More likely would be something slipped in the cam timing. Your idea of sending it back to the builder sounds like the best way to go to me. Sure a PITA when this kind of stuff happens.

Well, another great mid week ride. We rode out of Middle Waddell and ran a couple of mildly difficult trails. I managed to do everything just wrong at one spot and got high centered on a little stump. First time I have used my winch for other than the plow or stretching fence. Even had it off before Bear could whip out his ever ready tow strap. Little dusty in some of the exposed areas but in the timber it was great.
Next ride for the slow patrol will probably be next week. Always looking for more mid week riders. Sure no traffic on the trails, saw a couple of hikers and three mushroom hunters.

There's only one quad that's in working order in our garage... I've got the carbs out of both of the scrammys. They both need new float needle seats... They go back together on Saturday.
I should just bracket race the scrammy... it's an automatic. Probably would do better on that darn thing...

I come on and read every once in awhile to see what is happening and never say anything...(the silent one) We live down south aways from everyone, so we never make it up to that area to ride. We went riding with Bear and Chuck before when we still had our 2 stroker polaris's and had to be in the back because no one could stand the smell.. we bought artic cats a year ago and boy what a difference...we can go anywhere with them. One of these days when you guys plan another ride we will have to come join you all. We usually ride out by our kids house, we have lots of trails out there and old dirt roads we ride on. We also have lake property and we ride in that area to. Going to go down and try out Jones creek area soon. The trails look great there and they are one way...which I like the idea of...usually if we go out on trails where there is other riders...never fails have someone screaming at us trying to go as fast as they can..what the heck? How can you see any scenery doing that? Had a young kid the other day come out of no where going as fast as he could and never even slowed down when he got to us...the dust was so bad almost couldn't see the color of his bike..and he was all by himself which sure isn't safe if you are going to be riding like that. Would really like to get together with some of you and go riding somewhere and no we aren't really into riding in the rain...we like sunny nice days for riding, but then a few clouds,snow or mud is fine with us. We been to the dunes several times in the past 3 years and getting ready to go again next month. Going to stay at Florence for week. Thinking about going down towards Coos bay to stay for few days at that time to. Want to stay at one of the campgrounds that is closer to beach and don't have to ride so far to get on the beach..anyone got any suggestions? I was thinking of Spinreel but don't know how far of a ride it is to get to the beach anyone stay there? How about the Horsefalls big lot that is next to beach? Is there a trail right there to get onto the beach? Geez...almost a book here guys...I better go back to being the silent one...lol
