With experience takes less than an hour Get a good puller load it up to 50 - 75 lbs and heat the flywheel hub with a torch. pop goes the weasel.. take a 5.5 mm allen i think and undeo the bolts on the oneway (get a new flywheel cuz its bitchin) and install the new oneway bearing on it and slide the new gear on the shaft and torque her back down.. (recomend an impact to remove the bolt from the shaft)
been in there twice,,,,never had a problem getting it apart
with a cordless drill and some attachments and the right tools,,,,its a quick job

tnemaloney...............if you can wait to buy a 300ex I think you would really like mine especially coming off of a UTE, it has extended a arms so it is VERY stable, right now it has blaster rear hubs on it so it's REAAALLLLLYYYYYYY skinny in the rear but once the new one gets here it'll be stock Honda width. I'm going to have DJ replace the front bearings & it's getting all new brake pads(just waiting to be put on), has a new throttle cable, & the motor has a little bit of work done to it so it's not lazy like a stocker not sure what kind of tires it'll have on the rear but it has stock wheels/tires up front, aftermarket bars also, only thing it now sports 250R rear fenders but they don't look bad! Also has nerf bars(one side is bent right now but can be straightened), PRM rear skid plate,NEW one way bearing, I think there may be some pics on my pic page or my website which is Sandvig Racing ANYWAY once it's all done i wil let you know if your interested

No, of course she did that the one time I leave her alone to turn around and find Paul and Judy. Brilliant. I tried to keep close track of her all weekend, she rode great, did some good treeshots and bombed right along with us the whole weekend, then manages to pin herself on a little woods trail when no one was around. She was great all weekend, of course. No idea what she did with her helmet and chest protector. We packed up right after the last ride and I had her check the campsite after we pulled out to make sure we didn't leave anything either.

Oh crap, I got her in trouble. We couldn't find it when we unloaded her quad. Her boots were in the back of the truck, but no helmet or chest protector. She wasn't wearing the boots for the last ride though. It's possible that Paul and Judy may have packed them in their stuff, but I don't know. She was wearing helmet and chest protecotr when we rode(of course) and we packed right up. I have looked through the trailer again and nada. img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0"> Dunno.
Like I said, I had her check the campsite when we left to make sure we didn't leave anything, too.

No personal experience with sealants but I read on one of the forums that Slime can be washed off with water. Very messy to dismount the tire however. Second hand info.

Wow, you guys been postin while I was holding packages and driving for two shopping crazed women. SWMBO and Daughter-in-law have done Southcenter today. I think I could have bought a new quad for the damage they did. BR>
Did manage to sneak off and buy some Slime. Settled on 13 OZ per tire. Give it a try and see what happens. Going to RMC tomorrow and look at a smaller quad. Kind of think I need something a little smaller and easier to maneuver around.

Yup, I figure if it can haul you around something of that size would be able to put out a little extra effort and do the same for me. I'm thinking 4WD with a locker front if such a thing exists. IRS would be nice too. Wish list, don't know whats out there.
