A barn and sidewalks around the house along with a a slab for a future carport. Hopefully permits for the barn will be done sometime.. the county is being G A Y because there is a Shower and a laundry room in the barn.. Well WTF you dont wanna wash horseblankets in the barn.. and sometimes your a filthy mess after wheelin you wanna wash off.. well the barn is perfect for that. man alive.

Its a 36x60 with a full loft and 3 dormers and a 12' shed on one side Gambrel style by the way 2 coupalas for loft vents. there is 3 12x12 stalls on oneside with timer released doors.. So horses get 1 hour to eat in private then their doors are opened to the padock wich leads to their pastures. has a full bathroom, and full utility room such as tools and laundry. outdoor washrack with hot water, 24x12 feed room downstairs and a 8x12 tackroom and 28x12 fish room / dog kennel / hang out room with the wood stove the loft will be left open.. maybe carpeted for Dog training and wresling

It should be yes.. it could have up 6 stalls.. but 3 is enough for the two horses that will live at it.. For the begining it will just be 1 36x12 stall for both the horses since theyget along real well anyway. they were born 1 month apart and have been together their whole lives.

no.. All our hay is grown by a farmer friend of ours. and its ridiculously cheap. and he stores it in his barn for us.. though we have to put it in there ourselves while he drinks beer and supervises

Nope.. he usually has cold ones for us though.. When we put up our hay this year it was like 90°+ it was terrible. used a bale poper in the field and the OFC elevator in the barn.. I was throwing 80lb+ orchard grass bales from 3' off the ground on the trailer deck to the top of the stack 15' high. The farmer kept asking.. do you wanna use the elevator? Well all you stay at homes missed a good ride today. Bear, Chuck and I went to Middle Waddel and rode all over the place. Very dusty but saw only a few other riders.
Worst part for me was getting home, I-5 was slow thru Olympia and Tacoma. Saw the State Patrol at five different accidents which slowed those areas as well. Lots of rubber neckers.
Got home and SWMBO fixed me some supper, I staggered thru the rain locker and feel like I'm about ready for a serious nap. Plumb wore out.

But Momma is working until tomorrow and I am gonna get to sleep early and sleep in late tomorrow.BR>

The Youth of today will learn as You & I did (thur the process of life). I feel somewhat bad for the toughness some young people have to endure, BUT I as a young person learned the hard way by the guidelines of Parents that where allowed to discipline me. I think we as people have lost that respect of discipline, Hence LAWS have to be installed AND enforced to control the masses. FAIR or UNfair that's what is needed to teach.

Good (damp) Morning PSAR Could have used a little of this rain on the ride yesterday to settle the dust. Bear (AKA Coyote) 45/70 was the only one that avoided eating a lot of dust. His expert leadership on the trail kept us from getting lost.
I hooked up the GPS from our boat on the quad and had it running yesterday. Gave a good track of our travels and could be of value in heavy rain or fog. Probably more of a toy than a real help where the trails are so well marked. Gonna have to do some more experimenting with it.
tne got kids to spare! Sounds like our house when the kids were growing up. At least you know where they are and are able to have an influence on what they are doing and how they behave. One heck of a job raising kids but we all seem to survive it somehow.
Morning visits with the mutt are over, got a couple to do this afternoon and I think we'll take tomorrow off.
Have to help put a new mattress in the camper, that's gonna be a lot of fun. Stuffing a queen size mattress into that little hole. Not to mention getting the old one out.

Ummm - - - NO! Don't need no spare kids. Been there, done that. We always had some extra kids around as the local Juvenile Court would place kids with us for periods ranging from a few days to many years. Most that were with us at one time was 16, that I remember at least, when two families with kids were in a car wreck and the kids needed a place for a few days. Then we quite often had friends of the kids staying overnight or for a weekend. Just the two of us now, well three if you count the dog and that suits us just fine.

You know, that was my second idea on this project. First reaction was "What's wrong with the one that's there now?". Obviously my opinion was not valued all that highly so I suspect yours would fall in the same category.

back when i was 12 we went on a ride.... if i remember right we called it the hamberger run.....we rode out from the camp site--up one side of the mountain---& down the other into town... we would eat hambergers at the small town bar then ride back....that was the most rememberable ride i have ever been on....have any of you herd of this ride??? i believe it is in rozland (dont know how to spell it )

My brother and I are going to check out Capitol State Forest tomorrow...anyone have recommendations on where to enter the park? We rode Evans Creek today and it was okay...some of the trails were a little advanced for me and it was super rocky...Is Capitol similar?

I go to www.reserveamerica.com, then do a search for oregon for the dates (because after 5 years, I still can't remember the exact name of the campground lol

If you go to the Rocky Candy staging area, you have logging roads and power line trails - good stuff if you are a novice or like to go fast. You take I-5 south, to 101 N, go toward the ocean (hwy 12?), exit off the left when you see the sign for Rock Candy Mountain (I alway sing the song from O Brother Where Art Thou at this point....) Its close to the Summit Lake sign.
If you like more trails and technical stuff - slow and in a few places you kinda pucker up if you are are on a sporty or have little tykes (or both if you are like me), go to Middle Waddell. Take I-5 south to exit 95, head west and follow signs (past the something or other mounds.) It has a nice free DNR campground too past the staging area. Rock Candy is day use only.

Capitol is not even close to Evans. The trails are well cared for and the gravel roads are legal to ride on. Rock Candy, off of Hwy 8, not 12. There is access to logging roads, powerlines and the North Rim trails. If you go to Waddell Creek there are trailheads for the Middle Waddell Loop, Mt Molly and Porter Creek trails. You can access roads from any of these. Fairly good signage at the trail juntions too. All the trails will tie together somewhere along the line and there are maps available on line. I prefer the ones you can order because the scale is better and they are in color.

is the new owner, that same person that talked to me about wanting to buy a 450R on friday? hr>

Yuppers! She needs a 450RE,she had a real problem starting my 450r and a hard time starting her 250r. I told him he should get a 400ex for the trails since he already has a great duner! I think the 250ex will be his trail quad for a short while, more than likely it will become his son's first quad.

Wish the Corgi and I had slept in, dog was visiting with a fellow and he, the patient, had a major event. Nurses, CPR, 911, Ambulance, the whole nine yards. He may make it but probably not. Currently in ICU with a very poor outlook. At least he was smiling and loving the dog when it hit him. I hate things like this.
