What is the diffence b/w clarck and IMS gas tanks besides the name???

See if you can pick up some Banshee front shocks. They bolt right up and raise it by about an inch in front. I also fabricated in a 400EX rear shock onto my Blaster. It also raises the rear a little. It hasn't been ridden since I made the changes. Katie will have to give it a go and see how much better it is.
I picked up the FMF Fatty Gold pipe and Powercore silencer off of eBay.
Also look at getting Boysen reeds. I also put on a 30mm flat slide carb I got from Trengaracing.com. It wasn't cheap, though. I also had it bored .040 over. It really is quite peppy now.
Also check out blasterzone.com

well, we (TP, Fast Eddie, Jen and I) made it back from Darrington in one piece. The trike ran really good. There is a few minor things that need some attention like footpegs and shift lever. All in all, I'm very happy with the trike purchase.

TP has a good story about a crash to tell, and it has nothing to do with a phat guy on a trike BR>
I forgot how hard those things are to ride, but they sure are fun

That makes two of us. I want a shed real bad for a reloading shop and somewhere to store campin chit. Then I would have enough room in the garage to actually park our quads and cars in there

Ruht roh, what'd it change to? Hope it isn't something too bad. It was supposed to be training for Beerfest.

Try it now.

A MAN only parks in the garage if he has a classic car / hotrod. A female can park anywhere she pleases. You ever notice some of those fantastic women in public places? Ya, they park in a garage.

Posted by: maggiesboy

for beerfest

I"m in as long as TP, and Ray will be my teammates. We would still need a fourth, Bing maybe? OFC and RedRod can be the motivational coaches

Val has always parked in the garage at home and a parking garage at work. If my garage was completely empty, I still couldn't park the truck in there, too long. I just hate a clutered garage BR>

Well, I was gonna finish the last gate this weekend but, a leaking valve in the gas line to the furnace derailed me alittle, decided to change pipes and valves to furnace and waterheater. Then of course, one unplanned project leads to another, next weekend I'll tackle that joist, (just need to find the wood), guess that's what happens when you open up a can of worms BR>

the predapuss has a new fly-wheel and one-way... I just have to put shocks on it and it's ready for the dunes. However the wife's may have issues, I'll be turning wrenches on it tomorrow.

We pick up the new dune-diggs tomorrow So, we'll have to sort that out as well.

Oh i forgot to mention that my nephew (11) raced down at washougal over the weekend. For being on a track for the second time he placed 10th overall out of 15, in the 65 beginner class. He did pretty damn good i just wish i could of gone down there to cheer him on. His mom brought me some pictures over last night, he looks so good on his motorcycle. Saturday he got 12 out of 15. He was in like 8th place but his bike came out from under him going up a big hill. He got back on and took off. Sunday he got 11 out of 15, and Monday he got 9thout of 15. I'm so proud of him.

Some of those corners out there sneak up on you. Good thing it was only handlebars that were damaged.

Did anyone get video or pics? You all know the rule...Pics first, then help.

No cameras, but there wasn't reaaly anything to see. I dismounted in the air somehow pulled off a tuck n roll and ended up on my feet watching the bike roll over. It wasn't really much of a corner as it was a trail head and trying to whip the back end around.

Note to anyone thinkin about pullin their flywheel.. Invest in a quality puller I bought a puller from bike shop.. and it was for a threaded hub flywheel.. raptors don't have a threaded hub but instead take a 3 prong puller dea with some 6mm x 4"+ bolts. well i went to napa and they didnt have a puller with the right bolts. so i went to shucks. they had a cheap china puller.. I figure all hell it will work. i couldnt come up witha sheave holder so i used a strap wrench. well i put the china puller on and the bolts wasnt long enough to utilize the pointed tip to keep it centered. well not wanting to drive 45 minutes to the hardware store to get the right bolts i thought i would try with out the point on the puller.. Well it ended up smashing the end of the crank and bustin the puller. so now im just like FOCK FOCK FOCK.. well the neighbor rides up on his KTM 400 and i ask him since he is a sled head if he happens to have a puller thats not a piece of chit.. He said ride over to my shop and we'll look and see if i got sompin.. Well he had a Matco puller and various attachments for it so i borrowed that one. well it took so much torque to pop the flywheel loose that it drove the puller shaft into the crank and flaired the end big time.. Now im really like what the fock am i gonna do.. well i took an air grinder and ground the end of the shaft down to where I thought i could chase the threads with a die. Now i go on a wild unproductive goosechase to find a die for approx 14mm shaft.. All i could find was a 12mm die so fock. I had a big set of standard dies and found that a 1/2 x 18thread would thread in the nut. it was a lil loose but at this point my only option to get the shaft back true and cut some threads in. Of course the die holder had to long of handles so couldnt use that.. had to use a big socket and spin and spin and shave the shaft till i could get the washer on.. thencut the threads out with a triangle file and got the nut on.. What an ordeal though.. I have a nack for turning a hour project into at least a day . New flywheel img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">Definatly Though i think i coulda lost another lb off it

Haha YES they do(the corners I've missed a couple myself & so has Ron!! Glad to hear you weren't hurt & know how to tuck & roll
I only had one incident this weekend & that was w/ the chitter tank on the bus img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif" border="0">img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif" border="0"> somone left my pump on & it emptied the water tank into the bathroom so I went out to empty it into our extra tank & BAM there was chit everywhere!!! Kyle & DJ's faces were PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!! got it fixed up but don't let anyone borrow your doodoo hose, especially when they DON'T put a clamp on it!!!! I will say I steered clear of the DOODOO BR>

WQ CONGRATS to your nephew thats cool he's getting into racing!! You gonna bring him to Monroe?? They have arenacross on Sun.?? Should get him flattrackin' too, makes them a better all around rider!!! You should check into the Mudslinger's 4-H group he'd like that I bet, once Trev is old enough he will be doing it!!

I will say my nephew Austin got Grand Champion for his 4-H stuff @ the fair on his quad img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> his 1st year out there that is COOL!! My aunt sent me this so it must be true. Considering I rarely drink my family seems to send me a great deal of alcohol related information. BR>
WATER...... It has been scientifically proven that if we drink 1 liter
of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more
than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli bacteria found in feces, in other
words, we are consuming 1 kilo of poop!

However, we do not run that risk when drinking beer because alcohol has
to go through a distillation process of boiling, filtering and
fermenting.

WATER = Poop

BEER = HEALTH

Free yourself of Poop, drink BEER!!! It is better to drink beer and
talk chit than to drink water and be full of chit.

There is no need to thank me for this valuable information, I am doing
it as a public service.

New flywheel img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">Definatly Though i think i coulda lost another lb off it hr>

when Josh was rebuilding my DS Motor, I had to wait for a puller from the east coast, even the dealer claimed not to have one in their shop (you know that Lacey place). Josh finally took it to work to use his larger more powerful impact gun to get it off

thats how i broke the first puller hit it with the 350lb impact and well yeah it cracked it apart and stripped the puller.

WATER...... It has been scientifically proven that if we drink 1 liter
of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more
than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli bacteria found in feces, in other
words, we are consuming 1 kilo of poop!

However, we do not run that risk when drinking beer because alcohol has
to go through a distillation process of boiling, filtering and
fermenting.

WATER = Poop

BEER = HEALTH

Free yourself of Poop, drink BEER!!! It is better to drink beer and
talk chit than to drink water and be full of chit.

There is no need to thank me for this valuable information, I am doing
it as a public service.

Let me direct you to a couple places.. First you will want to click the TODAY button above.. In the upper left.. you will likely want to unsubscribe from this thread as it can get quite active and flood your email..

Next I will direct you to the PROFILE button above.. Where on that page you will find "Set topics you post to default the "subscribe to thread" option as: (OFC Recomends Not Checked) you can always subscribe to anythread you want to when you reply..

Next OFC would like to direct you to the My Page section.. Where you could throw down a lil diddy bout yourself and be sure to click submitt and then add some pictures of the quad and stuff BR>
This concludes another OFC Forum Assistance session.

and now back to causing trouble

Welcome to the Forums! I also ride at Elbe, Evanks Creek (out by you) the Naches trail is also out by you and capital forest is not that bad at all. You will soon find out if you can jam through the top loop at Elbe there isn't much tougher around but there are alot of good spots. We might be camping at Evans Creek this weekend if you would like to join us for a ride! It is only about 20 or 30 minutes from Enumclaw What kind of Quad did you buy?

Good evening PSAR. Just got back from the farm. All is very dry in Eastern Washington. Kind of like walking around in a powder keg, drop a match and POOF! BR>
Crock Hunter got killed by a Stingray! What a way to go. Proves once again that Mother Nature can be a biatch.

Fatality accident at the intersection of Hwys 14 and 97 on Labor Day. Guy and his wife on a Goldwing got hit by some dude that went around a car stopped at a stop sign and took them out. Wife in the hospital, man in the morgue. Our youngest son first on the scene but he and an ER Nurse that arrived a few moments later were not able to keep the man alive. Tuff thing to have to see/be involved in.

Bear: You still in for the ride on Friday? I'm set to go, even brought a GPS unit back from the farm. A little set I use on the boat to find the way home in the fog. Works on the ocean, otta work in the woods. Anyone else able to make it Friday? Need to get a convoy going, just not to fast.

Also brought back a little, 3 gallon I think, low profile boat gas tank to try strapping down to the front rack for extra fuel. Need to get a connector and bulb for it. It's made of a lot heavier material than the gas "cans" at Wal-Mart.

I'm still in, but where do we ride this time? Do you want to try Tahuya? Or go back and do the Middle Waddell Loop which is about a 20 mile loop?

I think the boat can (metal one, as I've never figured out how a can can be plastic) should work.

Middle Waddell works for me. What time and where do you want to meet? I'm up for breakfast if that works for you. May as well see if we can get a few more recliner cabbages out for a day. Anyone want to ride Friday? Not a high speed run.

Kids not wanting a car! What's up with that? I got my first license at age 14, an ag permit, and was hauling wheat to the elevator or hay to the coast on a regular basis. Took the test in a long nose Pete with a grain box behind it. Also let me use the pickup to chase the girls. Throw some bales in the back and the local police thought I was working. Shame on me. hr>

Quit your fibbing Mike, we all know there weren't any cars or trucks when you were 14!

LMAO, now that's funny right there

You can come to my work and fix things. We don't have anyone to do that so I end up having to do it. I learn as I go so it tends to take longer to fix things that they "F" up.

Don't bet on it being cheaper. Once that motor (if you can find a good one) starts torquing that thing then you will start breaking things. Drive line parts first then the frame. Been there done that.
