Either meet at the resturant at 10 or the day ride parking lot at 11 AM. I will see if Chuck can come.
It is called Farm Boys and it is damn good food! I doubt if I will make it Wednesday but you never know

Hrm dunno i still got to get a truck for my toy heh...relying on friends and my dads truck when hes not home...i gota wait till my car is out of the shop then i can sell it for a truck...but yea...what type of riding is it?? tuff trails or what cause i think im going to go mess around at belfair with a cpl friends since theres tons of open 4x4 trails and such...im still new to a dirtbike...2 wheels a lot different then the easy 4 heheh peace

None of the trails we will be traveling are above the the medium level and the vast majority are easy. My wife has covered these trails in July with a group we ride with and she rides a Arctic Cat 250 2X4 and needed no assistance what so ever. She and I don't like Tahuya much as the roots on the trails are too numerous for our liking. We prefer Capitol Forest, Shelton Fairgrounds and any number of places in central Oregon, such as East Fort Rock OHV area.

Im pretty sure i have an electrical gremlin.. Seems like my revers rev limiter is shorting to the foreward motion side of things.. Its kinda crappy. I need to do some tracing. may need whole new wire harness and eliminate the reverse limiter another way.

Already know you have a good CDI? Save some time tracing and try the CDI first.

I was thinkin floats at first.. but then i was riding the other craptor and put in in reverse and its the exact same thing its doing in forwards and it seems to be getting worse

Apparently it doesn't have a bendix. It has a one-way gear that can only be inspected by pulling the fly-wheel. So, I dropped it off and they'll look at it on Tuesday and order parts.
The starter was engaged and wound up by the motor somehow. Melted everything in it.

Rod's 480 is not high compression. It is pretty bad when the engine guy sells a bike and buys a raptor. I wonder what the deal is there? Oh well, We're gonna build a time bomb. I'll try to get a lil 450 to run with the 700. It might only make one run, but it will be a fast pass.

If all goes well, next season I'll have the 6 mil stroker crank, web stage III cam, 10.75 piston and the kenz cnc porting 1mm oversize valves and multi angle valve job Power commander ignition module, JJ & A play axle and the light weight shocks plus a few more lt weight parts, should make for a decent hill shooter/play bike BR>
I look forward to to riding and racing the hill, win or loose I have a good time

Never thought it would be easy pickins, you do have 200 more cc's. 10:7.1 compression isn't very high.

Good morning everyone. We are going to dunes in October and thought about camping at Horsefall's or Spinreel which do all of you perfer? We have done Florence several times and decided to go farther down this next time. Someone told us from Horsefall's campground to the beach is along bumpy ride to get to the beach? Sorry i missed it, i already had a birthday party to go to.
With that being said.....A bunch of us (8) went to Belfair to go riding, we got 10-15 mins into the ride and i decided to do some donuts. Well my quad wheelied out of a donut and rolled over. I landed on my front right tire , My quad has a bent tie rod,bent my handlebars, and brake lever. I fractured my clavicle, better known as a break in the collarbone. I tried to ride after i crashed and it just kept getting worse and worse. My friend took me to bremerton hosptial and i was checkin and out of there in 3 hours. No waiting what so ever!! They took an x-ray and gave me a copy. I'm on some vicodin, and pain pills. I layed around sunday and monday. Went to my regular doctor yesterday and he put me in a different brace, which pulls my shoulders back. I'm at work today and i'm in some serious pain. I can't take any of my vicodin because then i will be sleeping on my desk. I called my boss when i got out of the doctor office and she was giving me a guit trip, saying well do you think you can drive, do you think you can work? So as i'm sitting here now in alot of pain, i think i'm only going to be working a half of a day. This is my first ever fractured bone. I have never cracked or broke a bone before. I really don't like the feeling either!!

I landed on my front right tire , My quad has a bent tie rod,bent my handlebars, and brake lever. I fractured my clavicle, better known as a break in the collarbone. I tried to ride after i crashed and it just kept getting worse and worse. My friend took me to bremerton hosptial and i was checkin and out of there in 3 hours. No waiting what so ever!! They took an x-ray and gave me a copy. I'm on some vicodin, and pain pills. I layed around sunday and monday. Went to my regular doctor yesterday and he put me in a different brace, which pulls my shoulders back. I'm at work today and i'm in some serious pain. I can't take any of my vicodin because then i will be sleeping on my desk. I called my boss when i got out of the doctor office and she was giving me a guit trip, saying well do you think you can drive, do you think you can work? So as i'm sitting here now in alot of pain, i think i'm only going to be working a half of a day. This is my first ever fractured bone. I have never cracked or broke a bone before. I really don't like the feeling either!!

Been at work fro 4 1/2 hours. I'm in some serious pain. I'm hading home ot use the heating pad on my ribs and the ice on my shoulder. It's really hurting today as i came into work. The entrance out of Horsefalls isn't bad. It is prob 150yds of whoops and then opens up to wide open smooth area(no witches eyes and holes like Driftwood. I havn't been to Spinreel but I heard it is half the size and I don't think they have showers in the restrooms.
At Horsefalls we usually stay in sites 3-8 or so since it is a good flat spot to circle up a few trailers and rv's. If U only want 2 spots #1and#2 are seperated from the rest and is a little more quieter.

From Horsfall to the beach is about 7-8 miles with a couple of miles of whoops trail. A lot farther than the trip from Driftwood to the beach. From Spinreel to the beach is about 3 miles. Most of it on a whoops trail.
The Spinreel campground is more of a traditional campground with separate campsites. As Cheech said there are no showers at Spinreel but it is a nice campground. Almost every campsite at Spinreel is good.
One of these times I want to stay at Spinreel to take advantage of the dunes on that north end. Kind of risky to play around up there in those dunes and then have to ride all the way back to Horsfall, there is the chance of running out of gas.

I had a big crash up at spinning reel and i had to ride clear across the dunes with 1 front wheel and to debeaded rears. It was a journey but i made it.. as for runnin outta gas.. No way man.. its only a 20 mile round trip to spining reel and back to horsefall.. done easily in under an hour with gettin lost and ending up clear down at beach camp and then havin to backtrack to houser road and that way. the trails at horsefall are a blast. great for long distance follow the leader.. but easy to loose people hence why me and jacob got in trouble one time..

Between the folks that are taking off for the weekend and those that will be unable to find their (ahem) keyboard with both hands in the morning I am going to predict that the post count will fall off drastically in the AM.
Anyone up for a leisurely ride next Wednesday, Thursday or Friday? It appears SWMBO is heading for a more reasonable schedule. Got it cut down to 6 or 7 shifts per week and headed toward 5.

I might be up for a ride on Friday, I know I am supposed to be off but I won't know anything until Wendsay. I am not sure what Wild has got planned. He should be inroute from Reno now. Do you know of any places I haen't been yet?

I'm interested, but my 400 is going to the quad doctor on monday morning and I'm not sure how long it will be laid up. I will have to suffer with the 250.img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif" border="0"> Friday is a no go for me as some of my family will be arriving that day for the reunion over the holiday and next week.

I'm the wrong person to ask about where to ride, only been out three times here west of the Cascades and two of those were at Rock Candy in the fog/rain. Get lost as soon as I leave the parking lot. What happened to your 400? Nothing serious I hope.
With the 250 there is a chance I might get stuck, but don't hold your breath. I rode it for 2 years and only stuck myself once and it was because I got very stupid. Been stuck more than that with the 400. The clutch has started chattering just before lock up and the shift is jamming going into 2nd gear. Since it is still under warranty, I sure as hell ain't gonna screw around with it and I know my dealer has the best people.
Like I say friday is out for riding for me, so the next best day is wednesday. Thursday is a maybe only at this time.

General admission (festival seating) was all there was back in the day. Now reserved seating is right up front and I love it! No getting jammed shoulder to shoulder. It's great! Let all the general admission folks watch us have a good time in the reserved seats!

Ten, How about we ride out of Middle Waddell this time. I'll take you up to Capitol Peak of a pretty good view of the country side (if the fog burns off). Besides I like the trails. Oh yeah, we WILL NOT be going on the Mt Molly trail from hell (expecially with me on a 2X4). You wanna do breakfast again?
