I haven't been on #3 Mt. Molly heading back to Wadell, sounds pretty hairy. I talked to a guy who rides up there quite often, he says the trails are getting chopped up really bad and harder to ride than days past.

Glad to hear you're alright on the rollover, that happened to me at Walker, a slow rollover to the left, no damage or injury, just my pride, since I was the only one out of 13 riders that fell off at that particular spot on the trail.

GOOD MORNING PSAR!

HEY LOOK AT ME #500 ONLY TOOK 4 1/2 YEARS

Posted by: TReX400

Good Morning PSAR,
I've been sitting back in the wings for the last few days, watching, in shock that some redneck trailer trash F@#$ would should a Aussie sheperd. OFC brother, i would really like to see them get theirs, and i wouldn't mind having something to do with it. Had a bunch more to say but i don't want to stir up a giant scat storm (might be democrats watching). I would definitely employ the law due to your current situation. Where did this happen so everyone who doesn't already know can be on the look out for your dog (and the worthless f#$ks who did this). Stay cool man, I used to say everything happens for a reason, but this shoots that to hell.

Posted by: WildTurkey!

Good morning everyone(PSAR). Headed out to Moses if anyone would like to go for a ride. Going Campin minus Larry's room-mate.

Is that better WQ???

Good morning PSAR

Great day! Dog and I had a super time this AM, one of those special days when he makes a real difference in someone's life. Strange how the presence of an animal can calm a confused mind.

Got some more good news, a new nurse was hired where SWMBO works. Couple of weeks of training and maybe the goofy shifts and overtime will come to a halt and we can get our lives back. BR>
Sounds like a lucky few are taking off for the weekend, have fun and be safe.

OFC I "retired" a number of years ago. Let me know if I can help. Same offer to anyone else.

Its pretty easy to do.. I only recently came outta retirement.. I was retired for 3 years while on probation before. apperantly i will just have to go into permanant retirement. If city water didnt tast like a swimmin pool. Id just drink water.

I didn't roll over, my buddy 73 year old Walt did (who had a knee replaced in April), but he was on a 400 Arctic Cat. I was riding tailend Charlie on the way home (after leading on the way out) and after watching the other make their mistakes, I had no problems. Not even a close call, I gotta ride at the back of the pack more often.

SWMBO is picky like you. Has a "Brita" water pitcher in the fridge all the time. Me, if it's wet and not too cloudy I'll drink it. Kind of got in trouble in Mexico. Stuck with the bottled water after that little go-round.

Id rather drink piss than city water. I can drink salt water and muddy river water and stagnent pond water. But Chlorine and flouride are not somepin I am down with. have to mask that chit behind some tang or sompin.

good morning PSAR!

I forgot to mention last night that I also looked at new Yamoto atv's. If that is what they call a well built atv, then companies like honda, kawasaki, suzuki, yamaha, Arctic cat, eton, and Polaris have nothing to worry about. EVER

This is the exact same scam, as used on ebay. Delete that email and never buy in to that scam. The try to end up with the machine and only pay shipping.

Ask yourself this. Would I buy a used quad, sight unseen, over the internet? NO

Tacoma Screw Products, they have a couple of locations in Seattle, were able to supply titanium screws and bolts for my RC airplanes.

champion screw, same thing with a different name/owner. I think there is a nut and bolt store right off 116th, west of the 405. I went there once, years ago, but think it is still there. South off 116 and west of 405.

Do you think shaving foam off the seat would be worth it? the weight of foam is low, compared to sitting on hard plastic.

Yeah and a tap and die set. The bigger you make each hole, the more titanium you will use. If you drill out steel and put in titanium.......

It's kinda like my legs. drill out the marrow and put in titanium. Up to 7 pieces now.

Look under "Fasteners" in the yellow pages or use;

http://www.dexonline.com/servlet/ActionServlet?pid=bsearch&from=

Tacoma Screw has stores all over the place. There are stores in Bremerton and Olympia even.

Just got back from Salem to pick up my quad. I'm having Sonny's Bike Works make a wheelie bar for me. He made my +4 swing arm that has a banshee carrier on it so I can use an aluminum axle. The swing arm is a work of art, the wheelie bar is looking the same way. The new swing arm and axle is 20lbs lighter than stock. He's sending the wheelie bar to chrome this week, so I should be able to use the Noss soon. He made a strut for me to run a rigid back end as well. I'll take more pictures when it's all complete.

Might be sending him the frame and sub-frame this winter... Watch-out BigD! BR>
Got my bike back, now to search out the electrical gremlin...

Make it less industrial... We discussed re-locating the battery and going with a chromoly subframe and then removing and replacing a few things on the frame.

Going to look into spindle mounted wheels for the front...

Well, not 'zactly everybody can't do this. A year or so ago, RidinLWCA, me, Nicole, Ricky, and Realtorrider rode some of them thar Mt. Molly trails. It was freakin hairy - I had a few heart attacks riding behind the kids - they were bouncin off the seat and going round some gnarly stuff on 2 wheels - those little darlings were like Mr. Magoo - but they had no trouble at all (I knew how bad it was and I had a few issues with nerves )

After that, (I think Ricky was 5 and Nicole was 9) RidinLWCA (our awesome lobbyist member) said, "I gotta remember this ride when they talk about age restrictions in Olympia. Those kids can ride!!!!!!!

It sure doesn't bring out the best in me - but it does the kids! Me, I fall off, slide downhill headfirst on my back(after nearly running Rod over), and need help getting up cuz I'm laughing so dang hard at what a goof I am (thank you realtorrider and ridinlwca for finding my keys)........The kids though, they bring a tear to my eye and make me proud.

G/N PSAR!!! Angie and I had a good weekend even though we came back a day early We got to Alder and the campground was full drove down the rode to mineral and they were full so we drove down to Rife Lake campground and they said they might have one spot after 1300 so we went swimming in lake with the pooch Finally got the spot but for only one night as it was already reserved for the next day. Woke up in the morning packed up camp and headed to Elbe!!! It was dry as a bone So we rode until about 1200 and decide to come home early. I am kinda worried about Rico he still lickin' his wounds, he keeps liking his paws, you can see the red irritated spots between his toes from all the swimming and running and he has not eating anything since Friday night. And he has Mesquito bites all over his snout they eat him up I am just kinda freaked out after losing maggie but he has been sleeping since we got home and I am sure he will eat good tonight. Hope everybody had a good weekend!!!

Umm, some are heading to Coos Sept 7-11. You gonna make that trip? That's more than a weekend. hr>

Wild,

We are heading to sandlake for the big solv cleanup on sept 16-17 (sat & sun) We are sandcamping - just air down, throw it in 4-L, and drag the trailer out to the tree line Tents are welcome too BR>
Should be a lot of fun, a huge potluck, good folks, and a great cause!

Marcie, your clan gonna make Coos as well?

Nope, we tried in June to get 2 spots to fit us and it wasn't happening. Plus, we start school on wednesday (the 5th or 6th?) and I have to focus on school at the beginning - you know - whip 150(holy moly!!) 13 and 14 year olds into shape so everything is under control the rest of the year. I wish we could go (sob)

edit: good heavens - I just realized how many pubescent kids I'm gonna be wrangling every day - pray for me, or buy me a drink, or a big whip BR>

Never said I couldn't. I will say I won't in it's present condition though. I can't afford to go over, either backwards or sideways anymore, as it just takes to long to heal when it all turns to sh!t. Besides I ride to have fun, not to get an adrenaline pump. I did race cars, race boats, airplanes, motorcycles, fire trucks and ambulances to name a few to get the adrenaline fix for years (a true junkie) but I now let smarts rule my leasure time. My boats only run 70-75 mph and my only 2 wheeled vehicle only runs 30 mph max and my lawn mower has a bigger engine than my quad.

We still have a site available for PSAR Members for those days. Site #7, between Cheech and Jayna, if it's not taken by this weekend, we'll cancel it, so if anybody's interested, let me know.

The Midet says that we are not going to be able to go to Coo's Bay this time. I am going to try and get her to go to Sand Lake! It's almost the same distance there than it is to Moses Lake. And the sand is better at Sand Lake. It is still up in the air.

I didn't mean to say nobody else could ride it, I am just always looking for the most gnarly / hairy stuff available seems to bring out the best in me hr>

It sure doesn't bring out the best in me - but it does the kids! Me, I fall off, slide downhill headfirst on my back(after nearly running Rod over), and need help getting up cuz I'm laughing so dang hard at what a goof I am (thank you realtorrider and ridinlwca for finding my keys)........The kids though, they bring a tear to my eye and make me proud.

your getting old and your mind is slipping ......That was Jim (RapBW01) and I that retrieved your keys that day, out of Rock Candy

and remember, Stan had some meatloaf sandwiches to die for

Those that have ridden at Eddieville near Goldendale can see it on Google Earth at 45*43'37.91" N and 120*50'53.95" W. Don't have the correct sign for the degrees so used the (*) instead. Picture is about two years old. Course those that haven't ridden the track can look as well I guess.

One Fly: That Tic Toc you are hearing may be an alligator on your trail.

Ok, got the edit done this time. First attempt was a well location. Misread my notes.

Mom and I spent the day painting my classroom cabinets. They were a hideous shade of blue. Unfortunately, our work looks a bit amatuerish - oh wellimg src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> I don't remember why I thought that was a good idea while I was remodeling the house too! I have so much work to do in the next two weeks, it'll be like a vacation when school starts!

Happa, or MB. If I go to a 22" tire in the rear. What should I go to for the front and the rear sproket? And if I get new sprokets should I get a new chain.
Another question. The ol raptor is making a wierd noise when I start it. It is either the starter or the flywheel or both grinding. Is this going to be difficult to fix?

if you drop 1 tooth in the front that will help make up for your bigger tires, or you can go larger in the rear. smaller sprocket is less money. dont replace your chain till it is worn out if you take care of your chain it should last for a long time.

Good evening PSAR BR>
Well we had a good weekend, took the Hyundai(it did awesome & used hardly no gas for a road trip over to Liberty WA to check out the campground/riding nice place looks like we will be going there for Labor Day if anyone is interested in joining us. We didn't ride any trails but looks like there's plenty there were quite a few quads, bikes & lOTS of jeeps/toyota's DJ was in 4x4 heaven haha

Ron & I went up to Rieter yesterday for a couple hours to test out the 426 again IT'S ALL GOOD img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> I coudln't ride very hard though as I injured my right leg Friday night img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0"> pulled SOMETHING but not sure what, so I couldn't stand up to ride so needless to say my arse was tired haha, he started taking me up some trail & I couldn't make it due to the fact I couldn't balance very well so he got a little disgusted & backed it down for me then we stuck to easier trails!! He said "I dont' know why you are riding when you can't hardly walk" I said" CUZ I WANNA RIDEEEEEEE" LOL Was a nice ride was only hot in the sun!! Was a BIOTCH coming home traffic on 2 SUCKS!!!! Now I know why we go to Darrington, but I wanted something different this time!!

I was always told/read that you should replace all 3(sprockets/chain) @ the same time, I just did it too mine, it still had the stockers after 6 yrs!!!

Also WT don't forget to check your "keyway" it's on the flywheel that's what gave us problems AFTER we replaced the one way bearing two times that's what gave loose @ Sand Lake when we were all down there!!

HAVE FUN w/t hat starter CHIT HAHAHA heck we're still trying to figure out why the FOFIDDY won't fire w/ the new switch img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0"> guess he'll just have to keep touching the wires together we should have that thing rednecked up good in a few more months LMFAO j/k that was just for you Billy img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">
