Lets see I would like to re-model the kitchen and extend it another 2 feet into the garage. I would then like to put some pergo flooring from the front door to the start of the living room and then into the kitchen. I would then like to get rid of my clothes closet in the master bedroom and extend the bathroom to make for a bigger shower that we need. Then I would like to extend the master bedroom into the back yard so the bedroom would be bigger. Then I would like to do some landscaping into the backyard so I might be able to grow some grass back there in the future. Then I would like to have a deck installed to put a massive hot tude on the party deck. Oh and I need to tear the roof off of the house and put new plywood on the roof and have new shingles put on.

First thing I MUST say, this thread NEEDS to be cleaned out of all the old posts and made more up to date!!!
Anyways, I live in Grays Harbor and have been riding for years. I'm interested in new riding areas and meeting others who enjoy ATVing.
I ride an 05 300EX / all stock and quiet just the way I like it. I had a fmf full system pipe, k&n and jet kit in it, but got tired of the noise.
I'm looking to get into the group and hit the trails if there's anything happening in the future.

A little about me and what I and my son enjoy...
I enjoy trail riding and extreme cross country challenges. Mainly the latter of the two. I have cut miles and miles of nicely groomed trails over the years where I live. I make the trails without [trying not to] cutting living trees/plants. If trees are in the way, I find a different route. Over the years I thinks I've cut about 15 miles weaving through the timberlands, across the valleys and ridges. It's a neat thing to ride where other riders have no clue the trails are even there. My trail system starts just behind my property. It allows me to ride from my place and connect to roads that lead clear up to Shelton and beyond.
I'm always looking for challenges where no quad has been.
Are there any group rides coming in the near future ??
I have a family that loves to go play on the weekends.

Welcome to all the new riders. It is a bit slow around here lately cuz some of our big guns are down at Dune Fest, and since there have been a few group rides already lately(I know I didn't make any) I think alot of people are catching up on Family, Home, Sefair etc,etc.
Myself and and someothers will be attending the Jones Creek Poker Run Aug. 27th click here and feel free to join us all are welcome. We do have three wives riding with us so the pace will be laid back, besides it a poker run not a race. I do admit riding it like a race is fun though

Well Ron & I went on a "date" last night for the first time in a LOOOOONNNNGGGGG time it was a good time!! We went out to dinner w/ some friends @ this place in "L" town, called Secret Garden(Korean BBQ) very cool place & YUMMY food if you like that kind of stuff, it was the 1st time for us eating it but good!! They bring you a HUGE plate of raw meat(all u can eat) & throw it on the table BBQ pretty cool then you cook it up yourself & there are a bunch of different types of toppings, additions GOOD STUFF!!

Well Ron & I went on a "date" last night for the first time in a LOOOOONNNNGGGGG time it was a good time!! To get there take I-5 to the Arlington/Darrington exit, go to Hwy 9 & turn left take your FIRST right & follow the hwy out to Darrington when you come into town you turn left @ the 4 way stop, go to Sauk Praire Rd. & turn right(saw mill) follow out to the "T" in the road & go left, you can just follow that road which turns to gravel & find a spot to offload or follow all the way to the campground & offload there, then just go cruising HOpe this helps some, there is also Rieter Pit out @ Goldbar!!

Thanks for the advice. We wondered up to Walker Valley yesterday afternoon and had a blast. Was a little indimidating first time out with all the "pros" around. But once we got going and had 30 minutes under our belts we were having a blast. TONS of trails and lots of challenges.

A little about me and what I and my son enjoy...
I enjoy trail riding and extreme cross country challenges. Mainly the latter of the two. I have cut miles and miles of nicely groomed trails over the years where I live. I make the trails without [trying not to] cutting living trees/plants. If trees are in the way, I find a different route. Over the years I thinks I've cut about 15 miles weaving through the timberlands, across the valleys and ridges. It's a neat thing to ride where other riders have no clue the trails are even there. My trail system starts just behind my property. It allows me to ride from my place and connect to roads that lead clear up to Shelton and beyond.
I'm always looking for challenges where no quad has been.
Are there any group rides coming in the near future ??
I have a family that loves to go play on the weekends.
Then you need to ride over to Shelton sometime soon and some of us from this side will meet up with you and learn these trails from you. Always looking for new places to ride.

thx - I totally understand the weight vs. HP vs. torque... and agree with you..... however.... when I'm on a machine for the first time, and I've got the throttle pegged and I'm looking for more, makes me wonder a bit.
I've done no research into ATV's, and have a LOT to learn. My goal is to ride a bunch of different styles, cc's, etc before we seriously start looking to buy.
The one thing that continued to strike me as we rode - you can totally smell the trees and flowers while you're riding - you just don't get that in the snow.... on the other hand, you don't get the bug bites, either - LOL!!!!
Like I told the hubby on the way home last night - I can see quads in our future (I'd say driveway, but there's no fricken room!!!). Only problem is making plans for the weekend - "what'll we do - boat? quad???" hmmm....

Well, bummer. OK, I will plan to head for the lake then. Maybe sometime later in September when it's still nice and we are all back in town. I am working through Labor Day and then off to the dunes Sept 7-11. Still trying to work out the 19th & 20th this month in Coos, but it isn't looking likely, which sucks.

I just saw Superwinch at Costco. Both the 2000# and 8000#(?). No specific mount kit but not a bad price.

Saw an off brand at the Costco in Yakima for under $50.00. Think is was 2000 lb. Looked just like the Cabela's winch I have, made by Superwinch. Sure didn't know about the Costco return policy and the manuals thing. Would have got one just to have if I had known. Be going over that way next week and will check it out.
The kit in Cabela's bargain cave is just the remote system, no winch.

Even though Walker is like my back yard I only know a couple of the trails. I don't do much trail riding, last time I was in the ORV area that I can remember is when TP came up to my place and we went for a ride. I'll see if I'm up to a ride come sunday.

They pop the dent out from inside the panel. Paintless so long as the paint doesn't crack, they do charge you for re-clear coating. better than filling with bondo and probably cheaper than an auto body shop, although my opinion is you get what you pay for.

They pop the dent out from inside the panel. Paintless so long as the paint doesn't crack, they do charge you for re-clear coating. better than filling with bondo and probably cheaper than an auto body shop, although my opinion is you get what you pay for.
If they have to re clear coat it then it's not a paintless repair. Not to mention spoting in clear won't hide the cracks in the paint and it will line out around the repair in time and look like a halo around it.

I have reshocked the Blaster with new Banshee shocks up front and a 400ex shock on back. Hopefully it will make it ride a little better. It did raise the ride height some.

I went to the WORCS races at burnt ridge this Sunday to watch. gawd I wanted to be lining up to race sooooooo baaaaaaaadd!!! it's kinda cool to know a good 1/3 of the pro and pro-am lines personally... from racing with them & hanging out with them at different events.

Hey I was at burnt ridge on saturday...Placed 9th in production B class...The XC portion of the track was a rutted out big root soft fluff biotchand the only fast part of the track (grass field)
had a nasty kicker about 5th gear pinned slidding into a corner ..two hours on the track with a hour rest between ...had to take monday off work ...couldn't walk well...I WANA DO IT AGAIN

Well I got off work early today and I am not even going in tomorrow Wild and I picked up the Rancher and slapped the new needle and a 148 Main in it. That freakin' Carb is a pain in the azz, the sporties are alot easier to deal with Busted some knuckles tearing out my old exhaust, said a few choice words then drank a beer just realized I need a mounting kit for my winch, it came with a plate and a bunch of other goodies so I thought it came with the one I bought but that is not the case at all Hopefully the brown truck will show up with my exhaust tomorrow and I can ride mine on Sunday. If not I always have the other one.

Sorry to hear that. It's not always easy to tell when you are that close to the limit, especially since it was lowered from .10. You can be affected if you have lost or gained weight, stress, what you have eaten, amount of sleep - all those variables affect your metabolic processes - scientifically, judging where your at BAC can be very inexact unless you do a blood test. Under certain conditions, what would normally be fine can put you over. .006 is a TINY amount.
I hope you didn't hurt yourself or anyone else. It is a mistake many have made. Of course, most of the old-timers may have done it back in the day when they were told, "get on home and be careful, ya hear." I won't be a hypocrite and judge - just say a little prayer for ya.

wanna do it again huh? I know that feeling!!(we are gluttons for pain & punishment, aren't we?) congrats on the finish!! I know it takes work to finish in the top ten now in Prod B. the track looked rough, and competition has definitely gotten tougher in the series.
my last race was the WORCS race at goldendale last fall, after racing Production B on Saturday, I couldn't move for two days. apparently they've been using the log jam there at goldendale for some of the OMRA GP races this year.... it definitely makes for a tougher race

Good morning PSAR. Sounds like a gathering of the flock this weekend. Makes me envious as all get out. But sunshine on the horizon. Gotta go to the farm and meet up with some folks from Japan this weekend and then next week I will have a few days I can go play.

The tamale story is great! Our daughter-in-law is visiting from Mexico and has been teaching my wife how to make a lot of the native dishes from there. She has made two different types of tamales, I thought they were all the same just different meats, and they are both great. Can't wait to show her this story. BR>

most trails are tight lots of technical stuff. I have ridden my 400ex there many times and my wife rides a z400.

so, what about us newbies??? we rode Liberty last time (Blewitt pass)... some trails pretty steep, rocky, lots of tree roots, some trails narrow.... not sure how technical it was, since I have nothing to compare it to - put it this way.... it took us a couple years before we'd take our sleds up chit like that....

You guys are certainly welcome to join us. We are a mutilevel group that welcomes all. I ride sporties and have a Ute I never use so I am selling it to a friend. I am taking my Suzuki z400 this time. Per the advice of SloMoe, my 450 wouldn't be happy up there.

Tell her she needs to come. The more she rides, the better she gets! No one holds us up. Admittedly, there are times that I really like to bomb along at WOT, but that shouldn't stop anyone from joining a ride. We all get stuck on something. Or crash. You know I do have to say, this group is awesome at waiting for everyone. They may bomb ahead but as soon as the last one is starting to feel nervous about not seeing anyone you turn the corner and there they are waiting with a smile glad to see you. This group has always made me feel welcome and never have I felt like I was holding anyone up. When you go on a group ride of this size, there is always a ride for your speed. Thank you PSAR for making me feel like part of the group from day one.

I convinced my wife Angie to go with us on Sunday so there is one more name on the list. She has the same hesitations that the midget has. "You guy's like to ride fast and I don't like to hold you up" And she is really shy around people she doesn&39;t know so throwing her into a large group is sometimes difficult. but once she gets to know ya she is just as crazy as the rest of us. Sometimes I think she is weirder than OFC
