You know how everybody always says with the sporties momentum is everything. At Elbe momentum is not an option if you hit 15 MPH at Elbe you are on a flat section and you better slow down because the is some really nasty chit coming up quick The higher 8 mile loop takes me about 2 hours With a few breaks in there of course

Sand is all about the machine, I obviously don't have the machine for the sand so I must compensate with superior riding skills I will be at Elbe it you want a challenge hr>

Yeah, Baby, That's what I'm talkin' about.
No more mud in the brake drums, blowin' brown boogers,
cleaning the air filter every other ride, straightening out
parts after hitting trees n roots n other hard stuff.
Just beautiful sand. Some in yer toyhauler, some in yer shorts.
It's all good!

well I changed my chain and front sprocket today and found the spot where the case saver bolts on the case is broken off...so it looks like time for a new stator side case half...might as well change the piston ,cam, flywheel and stuff while im there...while the engine is out sounds like a good time to do some P/C and gusset...had to weld one small crack already...jeeze its only two years old and had the crap ridden out of it....

Job ain't as much fun as truck driving, for sure. How's that 700 Raptor working out for ya? I had a guy at work tell me he rode one the other day, and there's no comparison to the 660. He's a dyed-in-the-wool Banshee rider, and he says he'd be tempted to buy one. I'm gonna try and talk somebody into letting me try one when we do florence next week.
Glad the job's working out for you. The 700R's one sweet ride, no comparison to the 660R, blows it away. Mine's setup with a Power Commander for the fuel injection, LTE Dual Exhaust and +4 Chrome Swingarm, (Thanks to RaptorRandy27 for the custom fuel map). Hope you get to ride one down there, they are sweet BR>

Rancher, you just wish you had a tenth of the riding ability that sportie riders have. All you do is hit the gas and flip your 4x4 switch. Hell a monkey can do that!!!

His wife is the one that bought them. She said he can't do multiple things at the same time, ie ride, steer, gas, shift. She made it easy on him. That way he doesn't hurt himself trying to think to much at one time!

Good Morning PSAR, It was a long night last night we had to put our dog Maggie down a little after midnight. She had a twist in her stomach and was in terrible pain. $3000 for surgery with 30% chance of survival so I went ahead and made the call. She was a great dog and had lived a good life. We will miss her dearly.

Yeah, you never realize how attached you become to an animal till you have to put one down. My wife and I did the same last year to our small dog we had for 15 years. Went everywhere with us, and helped raise our kids! Tough to get over.

Sad news from Rancher. Every time I hear of a family loosing a dear animal friend I am reminded of the story of The Rainbow Bridge. Hope this link works.

Well, it won't work. Google "rainbow bridge" and it will come up. Sorry.

I'm starting to pack to go to Moses for this weekend. On my trailer (same as what Rancher has posted in his pictures) one of the lights is burnt out. We took it apart last night and it is a big light. They have a regular size bulb then a tiny long one and those two are covered with a big shield all the way around it. Justin had to cut the wires so i can get a new one today. Does anybody know where i can get this at? I have never seen it at Schucks before.

Stopped at a supply house last friday to pick up a T-stat and told the counter girl I should go back to work so I could get some rest. She must have taken me seriously as I have had three job offers the last two days. Must be one heck of a shortage of certified HVAC-R people out there if they are interested in an old hulk like me. Anyone have a kid looking for a trade to get into?

Still think the splaties would break less if rider ability was equal too or greater than the ability of the machine. (insert picture of tencubed running for cover here )

Not all the parts were at the house for me to finish the stairs today.
So that means tomorrow I get to drive 45 minutes to the job, 10 minutes of work and drive 45 minutes home!
I think I'll back charge the millwork company for my gas and 2 hours call out! As if that will work.

LMAO, I needed that today. I have had my quad for a year and it has been broke for 5 months of that year. Good thing I have another one to ride But I have never had to be towed back to the truck like many of my other unfortunate sportie ridin' friends. It Seems I am always doing the towing

Honda's don't break.... a Japanese chain will, from time to time, however. Also, if a hub falls off the Honda, did the Honda "break"?

Looks really good, not all cluttered like a lot of logo's, has a limited number of colors involved so it will be easy to screen print and has a memorable and likable design. Looks like a winner to me.

Well PSAR, it has been a rough night, bou GOOD MORNING! yesterday is gone! (thank god)
I got out of the shop in time to take Minimadman to the races. We are loading the truck and Brandon decides to go for a "last bike ride", and it darn near was. He crashed his bike and hit his head on the cement sidewalk. He was wearing a helmet (thank god for that) but he still has a very nasty egg on hid forehead now. With that being his second hard crash of the week, we scrapped the races.
We ended up at a BBQ with TP, RG, BarBPkr, and SLOMOE BR>
To sum that up, I cooked oysters and steamer clams, and Brenda got really FUBAR. When it is time to go, I get the lil car loaded with what wasn't being used and Brenda falls into her seat. Just this side of Edgecomb, Brenda wakes up and says I've got to puke! Gee thanks. She will need to go back this morning with a shovel and bucket to get thaty cleaned up BR>
Did I forget to mention she had to be a SEA-TAC at 2:30 this morning to pick up Joan ? img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">BR>
Welcome to my morning

Good morning PSAR, glad the ride yesterday was a good one.
I would love to go but it seems every time I add my name to a ride list one dang thing or another comes up.
I'll wait awhile to see how things shape up. We currently will have company for the next couple of weeks and with the wife working so much overtime I'm doomed to tour guide duty. At least our visitors are fun and interesting folks that enjoy being out and about.

Elbe was still the same old Elbe most of the mud holes were dried up though but hey the only dust I had to eat was Rico's and he stay's airborne most of the time. I think I am going to clean everything up put the trailer in the backyard to make some room in the garage. I am expecting a few thing from the brown truck and will need room to work

Jayna, hopefully my friend's 250R will be up and running by the 13th (we are taking it to Coos so it better be) if so, we will be needing a break in ride that day. Not Naches though. Probably something more along the lines of Darrington logging roads. I'll keep you updated.

I'll agree with Bear on this to a point. Took three tries, kit, mod #1 and what worked for the plow and bucket on the P360. Should have been able to figure it out the first time. Install kits work well if you get one that puts the winch where you need it. Scrap iron and a welder give you more options.
The wiring on mine was really easy, just like the add on speedometer. Handed it to the oldest son and said "This goes on that". Easy as pie.

This would be one for Bear and Tencubed:
A wealthy old lady decides to go on a photo safari in Africa, taking her faithful aged poodle named
Cuddles, along for the company. One day the poodle starts chasing butterflies and before long, Cuddles
discovers that he's lost.. Wandering about, he notices a leopard heading rapidly in his direction
with the intention of having lunch. The old poodle thinks, "Oh, oh! I'm in deep doo-doo now!"
Noticing some bones on the ground close by, he immediately settles down to chew on the bones with
his back to the approaching cat. Just as the leopard is about to leap the old poodle exclaims loudly,
"Boy, that was one delicious leopard! I wonder if there are any more around here?" Hearing this, the young leopard
halts his attack in mid-strike, a look of terror comes over him and he slinks away into the trees. "Whew!", says
the leopard, "That was close! That old poodle nearly had me!"
Meanwhile, a monkey who had been watching the whole scene from a nearby tree, figures he can put this
knowledge to good use and trade it for protection from the leopard. So off he goes, but the old poodle
sees him heading after the leopard with great speed, and figures that something must be up. The monkey
soon catches up with the leopard, spills the beans and strikes a deal for himself with the leopard. The young leopard is
furious at being made a fool of and says, "Here, monkey, hop on my back and see what's going to happen to that
conniving canine!
Now, the old poodle sees the leopard coming with the monkey on his back and thinks, "What am I going to
do now?", but instead of running, the dog sits down with his back to his attackers, pretending he hasn't
seen them yet, and just when they get close enough to hear, the old poodle says. "Where's that d@#n
monkey? I sent him off an hour ago to bring me another leopard!

I just read this post, sorry to hear about Maggie. Been down that road a few times, always a hard decision to make, she's running happy in Doggie Heaven now.

Ok, I'm a newby. The wife and I are renting ATV's and plan on riding at Table Mountain. The reason we picked there is because we snowmobile in the winter and have ridden up there several times. We're staying in Levenworth, so another area I'm familar with is Mad River. Sny suggest about either place or others would be helpfull. Thinking about getting into the sport. Thanks!

Anything is possible but looking at the bike I am think it may have been the ambulance that picked him up

Excuse me, I've never been pushed, pulled or towed out of any river. You have me mistaken with somebody else, and that's no BS

You are correct, you have towed me out of one mud hole in a creek, that was the only time, still don't know why I ventured into that mess.
