Kym- Last year I let a great kid ride my 450, never asking anything of him. With this "episode" of brain fart, I wonder what happened to that young man, that I respected so much.

DJ needs to realize that if he likes it or not, he is a role model for at least two little boys. These boys chant his name when he takes to the race track.(even if I'm out there at the same time). With his decision to take to the steets, the way he did, it affects alot of people. I am glad he did not get hurt, but that is about it. I fear the day, that I need to tell my little boys, that thier role model got seriously hurt or killed.

He risked alot, all for the glory of showing off some stickers?

I can now say that the KGB finally had a mech. problem free trip to Oregon Dunes. And it might not have been the fastest but it did finish in front of a couple Banshees and made it up every hill I pointed it at.

Those that are getting ready to head down have a good and safe trip and Costco Eugene was $2.95 a gallon unleaded, gotta love that.

I'll pipe up again in about 2 weeks about Horesfalls for the weekend after Labor Day to see who is interested.

Its not the liking its the smell LOL!!

No really I'm well, like now at work getting off after 12.5 hrs here. Seems to be the norm lately. Plus going to Hawaii and then time to take care of Lu, or I mean Jake or I mean show them some love. I just been busy.

Oh yeah if only one of the Banshee's with us was beating me by 1 quad length everytime and I was runing SandStars at 4psi, Would switching to Haulers get me that 1 quad length or would I be nose up and have slow anyway?

It's lookin' like flat trackin' is out for us... I really enjoyed RMC. I thought it was fast enough and was fun. To be honest, Hannegan scares the chit out of me. Way too fast for me. The problem isn't the speed, it's the speed combined with whomever is on the track with you.

I'll dust off the preddy in mid July to do sand drags... I'd say to show the pirate boyz what it's all about, but the yammy boyz are gonna do that. So, I'll just have to hang with the yammies...

I have 20" Sandstars on C-Series wheels mounted up right now, I'm taking my 22" Haulers, I'll let you know how much difference they make on my 700R.

Running tripple buff haulers on blue label douglas wheels will get you a win in that case (IMO). The set I have weigh six pounds lighter per tire/wheel combo than the standard hauler on a red label douglas wheel. All that energy accelerating 12lbs of rotating mass is going into pushing you forward. Not to mention the difference in hook-up from the sandstar to the hauler. The difference is amazing, any reduction in rotating mass is a huge gain in hp.

The thing you give up is durability of the wheels and tires. You don't want to be doing any rat-racing with those tires on. The wheels dent easy when bumping up against roots and the tires will puncture if you spin then on the root. But they kick-azz.

Easiest way to beat them is to play with their petcock or plug their tank vent

Hey Folks!

We got two sites at Florence side by side originally so we could have Bill's rig and ours side by side. But, since Bill is coming with us, we have a site for someone next to us, if anyone is interested.

We're not going to give it up, as Dirtmomma found out, it's not worth it, we'll just spread our chit out if no one is in. So, if there is any last minute Bonzai runners, we are in 64/65.

Rancher you have to be able to ride more than just trails. I will smoke you on anything except deep mud and rocky roads. So when do you want to race at a track or the sand?? Trails are for sissies like YOU!

Are you bringing the trailer tomorrow?

Are you going over to horn rapids this weekend?
I am still up in the air on it...If I do go it will be saturday night or sunday morning if I can get a ride share going...are you interested?

Glad to hear he is doing better. I'm sure he'll continue to improve. Best of luck to you all.

I'm up in the air on Horn Rapids. If we go we have to leave Friday. My dad is going that way and wants to follow us.
When can you head over there?
How much fuel cost to drive your beast over there?
I'm open to options................
Only thing is that Bob and his 2 kids asked if they could sleep with us. They are leaving from HR and going to Montana and don't want to take his camper.

Let's try to figure out something. I think either way w'll need to take two vehicles....................

I also have to get up to Torklift in Kent to get a new receiver on my truck B4 this weekend. Mine is a little out of whack.
I want to take my quad but will be a wittle bit overweight for my current hitch, plus I don't trust it........

I'm still up in the air too I want to go bad but dont know yet..
The last trip down to florance I slowed down to 60mph and got 6.8mpg....if i am in a hurry and go 75mph I get 4.5
If I do go it will just be me ...everyone else will be out of town....So I would have plenty of room for whoever

I got it due to the fact we spent $400.00 on fuel last month. That dually is killing me drivin' it around all the time.

Very careful, no street wooleys out of Billy, count on that. to and from work, round trip is 8 miles. And it is a fun ride too!

I've been out there right after they graded it... it was like a freakin' highway. Under normal conditions I can only hang on from Hauser to the Y, where you keep going to spinreel or go left to bull run. You got me on endurance...

Josh's dad had a setback - retaining fluid in the cells, they are trying to dehydrate him. He had a heart attack, the heart is functioning at only about 30%, and they can't get it to stabilize - irregular beat. They are giving him a bunch of medication, but if it doesn't stabilize, they are going to stop his heart and try to restart it.

Josh is sick with worry and is holed up. Pray for his dad Jerry if you would.

Thank you so much!

Horsfal to spinreel, you're on, Mister. I know that brown truck didn't remove, oh lets say 65 pounds, off that mo'chine. I blast that trail, almost as fast as the thing will go. I have always saved a little, incase someone was to pass me.

I've been out there right after they graded it... it was like a freakin' highway. Under normal conditions I can only hang on from Hauser to the Y, where you keep going to spinreel or go left to bull run. You got me on endurance...

So U guys wanna settle this Sept. 7-10 at Horsefalls? What sites do U prefer? I was thinking sites 3 thru however many needed. Probably will grab up 3 and 4 this weekend unless there is a different request.

Anyone else interested?

Good Morning, First DAY OF SUMMER!!!

My prayers are with Josh's family. I hope everything turns around, and he gets healthy.

RG, Tp.... Last night i checked out Carrisa's "baby book" online. I must say she is adorable and getting so big. I love the bumbo pictures. She looks just like her daddy, that's for sure. Can you believe it that she is almost 6 months old???

Thank you everyone. After a bad night, Josh headed over to Wenatchee to be with his dad. The doctors won't give any info over the phone, citing the privacy laws

According to his brother (who couldn't stay the night, so our info was as of about 8:00 pm) Jerry starts to look normal again like he is stabilizing, then the heart gets erratic - hope to heartache in an hour.

We'll keep you posted.

Bing, Ranchers pretty good on the trails. The almost 10 inches of ground clearance that he has helps him. The fact that you just have to hit the gas on his quad makes it easy for even Donny to ride!

I may only have 5 inches but I can work that 5 inches like nobody yeah thats it.. Momentum is everyting when your lacking in inches.. you gotta work it harder. pound it, slide over it, whatever you gotta do.. Full under armour is neccesary cuz swerving to avoind objects in the way is unnacceptable. Bounce over it and keep it pegged. capitol forrest is a 3rd / 4th gear show if im gettin busy. other wise 2nd gear is still plenty to run away.

So what does everyone think of Les Scwaby?

They are getting on Justin and I, bad side. First they always seem to strip the lug nuts on his semi (log truck). We have gone back and forth with them discussing who is going to pay for the new studs, so on and so on. Then on Friday just didn't work and was getting us ready to go to Moses and decided to go and get his tires rotated. We drove over to Moses and on the way home i drove. Well Monday Justin went up to town with the boys, and he heard some weird noises, when he stopped he got out and checked his tires. He has a F350 so he has a 8 lugnut tire. There was ONE, lugnut holding the tire on. The rest were gone completely gone, no studs so no lugnuts. He had to leave his truck up town because he didn't want to drive it home. The next morning him and his buddy put his truck on the car trailer and took the truck to Les schwab. Needless to say they had to pay for the new studs and the lugnuts. We had to wait all day long for the dealership to bring them over to les schwab. I'm just glad the damn tire didn't come off when i was driving home with the camper on.

I guess what i'm trying to say is, if you get your tires rotated, changed, etc... make sure your lugnuts are on properly. I know when i get my tires rotated, (in the next day or so) I'm going to be watching every move they make.

Scwab stores are like a box of chocolates....you know the rest of the story BR>
Jeff and the Arlington boys have always taken care my families needs. The first time they fail me, ole' Jeffy and I will have a closed door meeting.

Having worked for Lester (the north bend store), I know the routine the tire techs should be operating by. When that system breaks down, it get ugly behind closed doors.

OFC commented that all the LS stores are not equal. We have been dealing with the store in Goldendale for about 40 years and never had a problem. Matter of fact they have saved our a$$s on a number of occasions. One thing I will assure you, if you call the complaint number in Prinville things will shape up. I suspect the lug issue on the logging truck will be resolved promptly as well.

MIDGET POSTED THIS ON ANOTHER SITE. FUNNY TOO!

Some of them I can say yes to
Body: Guess I've been in Washington too long!!

You know how to pronounce Sequim, Puyallup, Enumclaw and Issaquah.

You see a person carrying an umbrella and know they must be a tourist.

Eating seafood isn't anything special.

Your daily commute to work involves riding a ferry.

You know the difference between "showers followed by rain" and "rain followed by showers".

The sight of Mt. Rainier is still awe inspiring.

You yell at the TV if they pronounce the name of a city wrong or make an inaccurate Seattle reference on "Frasier".

You rarely wash your car because it's just going to get muddy again tomorrow.

You wouldn't dream of putting an air conditioner in your house.

You go to Eastern Washington to get some sun.

You can drive from your home to a lake, a river or the Puget Sound in 20 minutes or less.

You take a heavy coat and a hat with you for a day at the beach.

You have learned to assume that Christmas will not be white, but rainy.

You expect snow for Valentine's Day.

You've owned the same bathing suit for years because you never have a chance to wear it out.

You still can't believe the new Seahawks stadium is open air.

Your phone book contains a tide table.

You only visit the Space Needle if you need someplace to take out of town guests.

You or someone you know works at Boeing or Microsoft.

You "Do The Puyallup" every year.

You feel guilty throwing something away that could be recycled.

You use the word "sunbreak" and know what it means.

You know more than 10 ways to order coffee.

You know more people who own boats than air conditioners.

You know the difference between Chinook, Coho and Sockeye salmon.

You never go camping without water proof matches and a poncho.

You wear shorts when the temperature gets above 50 but still wear your hiking boots and parka.

You switch to your sandals at about 60 degrees but keep your socks on.

You have actually used your mountain bike on a mountain.

You buy new sunglasses every year because you've lost last years pair after such a long time not needing them.

You measure distance in hours.

You often switch from heat to a/c in your car in the same day.

You use a down comforter in the summer.

You know how to pronounce geoduck and know that it doesn't quack or have feathers.

You get upset when a store doesn't carry your favorite brand of bottled water.

You can tell it's summer because the rain is warmer.

You think the "Middle East" is Ellensburg and the "Far East" is Spokane.

You realize no education is required to be a weatherman. Just predict, "Partly cloudy with a chance of rain."

You have an earthquake story, and so does everyone else you know.

You can identify five different cities by smell alone. (Tacoma anyone?)

You think summer starts in July and winter in September.

It's not a real windstorm until your lawn ornaments blow away.

You've used every setting on your intermittent wipers.

You can't imagine living through a tornado or hurricane but you secretly think earthquakes are kind of fun.

You don't know what a turnpike is and have never paid a toll to drive over a bridge.

You prefer one mountain to the another.

You've stood on a deserted corner in the rain waiting for the "Walk" Signal.

You understand that if it has no snow or has not erupted, it is not a real mountain.

You can taste the difference between Starbuck's, Seattle's Best, and Tully's.

You are well versed in the difference between Japanese, Chinese and Thai food.

In winter, you go to work in the dark and come home in the dark -- while only working eight-hour days.

You actually get these jokes and pass them on to other friends from Washington

Call Schaub headquarters in Oregon, I think it is Prineville. Most stores are frachised and they have got to do what is right or corperate will fall on them. My local Les' tire store has outstanding service and if they screw it up they fix it. But not all store do what they are suppose to do without a kick in the butt. Schaub policy is Service, Service and Service. If you don't get it from the staff, talk to the local manager and if he doesn't solve it, go to corperate. They will solve it.

i hear ya,,,,,

still a whole different league when you talk about keepin up with a fast pilot on a fast quad,,,,,10 inches or no 10 inches BR>
can you keep up to him on the trails with your 4 inches?

I may only have 5 inches but I can work that 5 inches like nobody yeah thats it.. Momentum is everyting when your lacking in inches.. you gotta work it harder. pound it, slide over it, whatever you gotta do.. Full under armour is neccesary cuz swerving to avoind objects in the way is unnacceptable. Bounce over it and keep it pegged. capitol forrest is a 3rd / 4th gear show if im gettin busy. other wise 2nd gear is still plenty to run away.

you need to try north trail at Walker Valley, that is a biatch

north trail is rough but iam still faster than that a ute

Bring your go fast parts And once you get stuck I will come back around when I am done and pull you out

No vacation pay, all used up. The surgery won.

Mrs. Toyz got parts today, not Mr. Toyz. I don't dare open her brown truck delivery.

How do you figure? There is 20 on each page, therefore the first post on page 51 and 101,etc. is the 1,000th post.

You must have your preferences set-up to have the last post on the last page. I have the last post on the first page, so that calculation doesn't work at the moment.

I had two browsers open at the time. One had the thread listed with the post count. When I posted in one browser, I hit refresh in the other and have the current count. When I posted 49007, I verified that post was 49007, then counted back. I could be wrong.
