I'm sure DJ knows what he did wrong, right when he started his quad. He is a very smart kid and knows right from wrong. He just needs to understand that things get worse when he is driving and you guys can take stuff away, including his quad. I think it's right what you guys did, on taking his truck away. Tuff luck that it's the last week of school, maybe next time he will remember to put his helmet on and to "putt" on the side of the road, if that's what you guys let him do. BR>
Well i hope everyone had a good weekend! I didn't do much, just cleaned my quad and took some stickers off of it. I couldn't really do anything cuz my back is out for some reason, so i have been babying that. Looks like we are going to Moses the weekend of the 16. Just want to get away for the weekend and go relax. Trying to talk Jeffy into going, but he doesn't know if he wants to just gaurd camp. LOL Jeffy was over on Saturday and dang he is a hurt'n unit. He wasn't complaining of the pain but i could see in his face, that he was hurting. I was being mom and getting on him for not wearing his brace. I hope the doc has something good to say today.

It's possible but it won't hold up for the kind of riding you do. It will get scratched all to hell in no time and then look like crap, black is the worst, it looks great when it's in good shape but looks like hell when it's scratched up so I would not reccomend it.
It works fine on a Dune only machine with race cut fenders in my experience, but take it from me prepping and painting plastic is a royal pain in the Azz and if you don't do it yourself it ain't cheap. Paint materials are very expensive and the process is labor intensive. For what you would have to pay someone to do it you could buy new plastic in the color of your choice that would hold up better. I don't know what choices you would have with a ute as far as plastic goes as I've never considered doing a Ute.

We are going to leave the 16th. We aren't going to leave until i get home from work though, so we won't be over there till 9 or 10. I can't get off early, there is to many people off next week. The gravel pit is where we are going to camp i believe (the one you always stay at). That's where we usually do too.

We tried to tell him just think if a car pulled out in front of him he'd be toast & they'd be sueing US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO we dn't let him ride on the road/streets IDK what the heck he was thinking as for girls involved who knows but he was feeling pretty damn dumb when his Daddy showed up & drove his truck home!!!

Rod, I wouldn't worry about rancher, he is a sissy girl when it comes to going into a water puddle. He puts his feet on the fender like he is made of sugar! I am just as fast as he is. and being closer to the ground has an advantage, you don't role over as easliy as a ute. And if I had 10 inches of ground clearance and 4 wheel drive I could go through anything without hesitation.
Rancher thinks it is okay to call us sissies when we have to have someone pull us sorties out of something a ute has no problems going through. Just think of it as a challenge for sporties.
Oh and rancher doesn't know how to shift gears on a sportie , thats why he like automatic quads.

2) If I happened to be the man that make the decisions at Pellham Timber Sports I would pull support from DJ's program. Those products are givin to him for racetrack and appearance use. yada yada yada, long story short, after taking more x-rays, I'm broke more now than what I was. I had 25% compression of my t9-11, that numder, according to the specialist is now up to 40%. The doc said My doctor will put me on an "action plan".

Well, I get to go to the doc's this morning and get an update on my back.
Kym, let DJ know he was very lucky. Yesterday Cyclebarn lost a good friend. Randy Rutledge from Marysville. He was riding the Stanwood -Bryant rd and had a car pull out in front of him. According to the other guys riding with him they were going 45-50 mph. He was killed instantly. The guys behind him barely had time to stop.
Its not always the bike operator, it's those cars that don't stop coming out of thier driveways

Randall S. Rutledge of Everett died after his Honda motorcycle was struck by a 1981 Volkswagen that turned left in front of him on Highway 9, according to a Washington State Patrol accident report.
The accident occurred at 4:23 p.m. near the intersection of Stanwood-Bryant Road, said trooper Kirk Rudeen, a State Patrol spokesman.
Rutledge, southbound on Highway 9, was allegedly doing a wheelie on his Honda motorcycle, apparently making it difficult for him to avoid the Volkswagen, driven by Benjamin K. Allen, 21, of Arlington.
The motorcycle was also hit by a second vehicle, a Isuzu Rodeo driven by Dennis E. Neubauer, 62, of Snohomish. The drivers of the Volkswagen and Isuzu were not injured.
The accident is under investigation.

That is pretty interesting. I heard from other folks that there was no road play involved. Of course stories will differ.

LMAO! The first time I met happa, he changed clothes just outside our motorhome. No big deal, I've stripped down to nothing changing out of muddy clothes in a parking lot a few times. However, Mrs. Toyz was in the motorhome... Asked me "Who the heck is that?" and didn't clearly understand the lack of modesty.
Though, a few years ago, we had a friend of a friend on our boat and asked my wife to turn her head while he changed clothes in the cockpit of the boat... we had a cabin he could have changed in... So she wasn't all that bothered by Happa.

Don't know, he was just taking it off the trailer at the campground. Someone else had just came back in to report that 3rd gear was out of theirs though. Didn't catch the name though.
