Haven't been to SL in a couple years, so I don't know how they are now, but last time I was there, they didn't enforce any db limit. Florence does.

If you are mellow around the sound police, you will get away with more noise, then if you wheelie by him in 4th gear. Keep an eye out for the State pickups, and ride quiet around them.

Thanks for the "condolences" on my 300 we started examining it more & we will be putting it back together & taking it to the dunes, it isn't a major area(kinda like "open space") doesn't hold oil so Ron thinks it'll be OK, if it survives the dunes it may look for a new home if it DOESN'T make it thru the dunes it will be looking for a new bottom end or sompin' I can't stress over it anymore!!! BR>Ron & I talked once we get some other bills paid HE will be getting a 450R more than likely & I'll take his 426 we can share the 450 & we will be going w/ the Honda due to price & he's a HONDA LOVER haha but thats down the road, believe me I asked it we could do it for our anniversary LOL, but it's all good my lil' blster looks good now too!!

I finally started feeling human again yesterday got my last & final jaw surgery out of the way week before last.
Had some complications but it's all good now BR>
MB, I got Jonathan's YFZ450 squared away yesterday so I'll share the bottle of crown with ya I told him to come and see you today and see if you guys sell a special tool to get to the A/F screw with out poping the carb off the boot and turning side ways to adjust it. The thing goes like stink I think it just needs one more fine adjustment to get her dialed. I just can't get my fat fingers under there to adjust it with out pulling the carb back off. Hopefully you can hook him up againBR>

Randy, you will have to loosen it up one more time to install the MSR fuel screw, then life is more gooder after that I have the A/F screws in stock, I do not stock the right angle screw driver with the quickie adjust feature. I'll hook him as I do the uddersBR>

Larry, I would suspect with the larger number of machines in a confined area on the sand that the overall noise level would be higher than a couple of machines out on the trail in the middle of nowhere. So they drop each machines noise level by 2/3s and then the overall noise would be about the same. At least it is a logical explaination.

I got about 3 inches of snow! It took me an hour and a half to get from my house to Bellevue. Some people just don't know how to drive in this stuff. There was probably 2 cars in the ditch on hwy 9. The road i live on was bad, as it hadn't been plowed yet. I didn't even think it was suppose to snow until Thursday. But, Justin woke me up in the middle of the night to tell me it was snowing!
I wish we would just get dumped on light the east coast did. I don't like this inch here inch there, bs.

I did not really want to go over the pass as i have never towed in the snow. However, I guess I need to learn sooner or later. I was looking for a location at lower elevation and then drive up to the snow on Quads. Any Iformation is helpful.

When the snow level is below 2500 feet, then Capitol Forest works. Capitol Peak is 2500+ feet tall. I usually snow ride out at Canyon River in western Mason County and eastern Gray Harbor County.

I'm learning the frustrations of the mini racers.
I've got one dead LT and don't know what to do, I"m totally lost img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">BR>I'm working on it, but we'll see.
I've learned that if your not very mechanically inclined, don't get involved with modified quads.
I had some help today narrowing down the problem, but I've really learned how much I don't know.
Got lots to learn, in the meantime I'll just tinker and pretend I know what I'm doing..

Well just got our power back today at 5pm yay...but that was after I had to go to work so had to go bum a shower from my uncles house ahaha since he has power earlier in the day...my section of the island got hit the worse because its on the north side where the storm came from...total of over 20+ trees just in my street there wasnt a standing power line pool standing most of the road...sucks a lot but they got it up and running the Electriction guy which theres only 3 of on our island have been up 54hours straight as they all came in for some dinner at the resturant tonight which i wasnt suppose to be working...since its my 4 day weekend where im suppose to be riding in sand lake...grrr but anyways thats another story...we have a passenger ferry picking peeps up 4 times a day at the yatch club on the island and it looks like its innconvient times for going to school so looks like no school until the stupid crane people fix our dock....Which they have all the tools but they didnt work on it today just assest it...so the island has no news on when the dock will be fixed and what not 3 days - 3 weeks is the estimated time...nice time frame eh??? well come on here and post cause us islanders have nothing better to do but read and work on the quads...

Well good evening all img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> The Sandvig clan made it home safe & sound from the dunes Jayna did too!!! We left w/ 6 bikes & came home w/ having to push 3 on the trailer oh well THAT was a givin' LOL the 300(gee go figure), the blaster(just plum wore out), & Kyle's blaster(injector failure We traded the 300 for a PREDATOR img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif" border="0">img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> we sent it home w/ our friends & they left the preddy for Ron to ride!! VERY nice of them!!! He said it was "OK" LOL but still likes his 400 better!! ME TOO!!!!!!! I finally got some seat time on it I like it better(it will be mine SOON) Jayna was training me on coming out of a tree shot but I'm not a very good student OL another gal rode it out & DJ had to ride the 300 out of the same spot for me so needless to say DM got LOTS of "hiking" in this weeeknd hahahaha oh well it'll be better next!!!!!!!! Trev rode the little Kasea so fast his air filter came off so she may have sucked a little sand but we'll be tearing it down to inspect it, se did get him a new K&N from the SL store it's bigger so it probably needs to be rejetted it's all good!! Him & Dad went on a ride & he made it up the big hill coming off the flats so Ron was impressed & Trev thought he was Da Man haha I didn't even get to ride w/ him really I was out havinng my own fun Then he rode ont he back of the preddy w/ Dad LOL poor kid held on for dear life!!!!!!1 We went on the one way trail & I just thought "Am I going to have to scoop him up w/ the bumper" following him poor kid was bouncing for ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Morning PSAR. Just a few pages of posts to catch up on. Made it back and even got a nap in before work.
Great to see everyone at the dunes. Had some fun rides before the problem finally became obvious and it was time to not push my luck with the motor and do more serious damage. Hopefully I can get it all fixed up and take another trip soon. Maybe the Florence trip in June? We'll see if I can make it.

Cool!! Every time i have gone down there i have stayed at the same hotel. I can't remember the name this early in the morning. It the hotel with Dukes bar on the lobby level. Well have a great time, and drink a drink for me. hr>
Dukes is in the Outrigger Hotel. I just got back from dinner at Dukes. Good food, but a little expensive. Great Salad Bar

i'm REALLY hoping that the snow holds off till we leave haha, we've went slippin & slidin' down our driveway once before on our way to S.L. so it wouldn't be the first!!!
Just hope the roads hold up REALLY don't feel like haveing to buy a set of chains for da bus or INSTALL them haha last time we left when it snowed here it wasn't bad down that way so we'll see!!
