Actually the wife and I are leaving for East Fort Rock early next week and won't be back until late monday the 22nd. So when we get back we will set something up, the wife really likes to ride with other women along.

I totally agree with the slow and easy sub-group. Way to many family members not riding because of the "fast as I can" group. A slug is not gonna go over well with the ladies We better use a turtle But we will draw a mellower crowd with a more sedate pace.

While at Rock Candy we had another Gentelman (Mike aka tencubed) riding with PSAR group. He chose to ride at the back of the pack AND WAS NOT LEFT BEHIND at all. The group made sure he was SAFE AND SECURE with that ride......

It seems to me, Bear thinks all PSAR riders are speed freaks on quads (your comments) but PSAR group is just people (of all ages) having FUN.........

Yup, the Rock Candy ride was lots of fun, nice people having a good time. That was Max Speed for me and the P360 and I appriciate folks waiting at the crossroads for us to catch up. Had a great time but that ride was beyond what I would feel comfortable doing on a full time basis. I would be paticularly hesitant about having my wife on some of the trails we were on. Her experiance level is ZIP. I think the last time she was on, rather than in, a vehicle of any type was when we were dating and she would ride with me on my Harley.

Bear and I were talking while at Shelton yesterday and even some of the trails we rode were more than SWMBO would be comfortable on. We discussed the possibility of finding some folks that just want to cruise along on entry level trails and roads then set up some weekday rides that would not tax bad knees, backs and such. If there were rides scheduled that were along the line of Rock Candy I would also like to take them in. I may elect to take off mid ride as I did at that time due to parts, not related to the P360 which were starting to fail. Despite what they say "Old age and trechery" dosent always prevail.

Last time I rode with any regular PSAR guys was at Shelton a while back. I had to quit leading because my knees and back just won't put up with it anymore. I became tailend charlie and followed Bill (Realtor Rider) around and when I caught up at the intersections and gave directions on they went. So I'm with tencubed, on this. Chuck has told me about Easton and guess who road with tencubed and me on thursday, Chuck did. He and I ride alot together during the week all year long and our pace is much more leasurely (he always has me lead) with longer breaks. Just like we did on thursday. I had a cortizone shot in my left knee on tuesday and was able to ride for about 4 hours (we were out about 5 hours) on thursday because of the pace. Sorry guys, but I haven't been riding with you because if I stay up with you guys I hurt way too much the next day. It's not worth the pain and sleepless nights to do it anymore. On top of that my wife found you guys pace way too quick that you guys run also and I'm no fool. What Momma wants she is gonna get, even if I could still deal with the regular PSAR pace, which I can't. "Old age is not for sisies, but being stupid makes it even worse" says this voice of experience.

Good evening PSAR.

Ok I have installed my new exhaust and rejetted the carb and have it all back together and now it won't idle! It starts up and sound like it's turning 2k. I replaced the main needle, put in a new jet and turned the mixture out about 3 turns like the instructions tell me to do. I tried playing with the idle adjust knob and it has no effect what so ever. Any ideas what to do next? Sure sounds cool!

Happa, that's "Acquired Genetic Engineering" and the acronym for that is AGE! With me alot of it is all the old injuries catching up with me. Just to many repaired part won't stand the abuse anymore.

Is the carb seated in the air boot?? airleak

You snapped the throttle a few times, just to make sure it wasn't bound, right? I don't know alot about that carb(and it scares me) but check to be certain the needle made it back down into the main correctly. If the needle is down in the main jet, look to see if the needle is seated on the slide all the way.

Horsfall or Horsfall Beach? They are two different camps. I thought it was Horsfall. I was told they are about 7 miles apart across the sand and about 1.5 if you trailer between the two.

TP is a carb GOD. So what he said.
When I got my Z back together, I had a bad throttle cable(the new one) and it wouldn't drop to a normal idle no matter what I did. As TP suggested, check the throttle cable is seated correctly and lubed properly. When I installed my Yosh and K&N, all I did was rejet the main(the button jet). Did you play with the needle initially as well or just change the main?

No swinger shipped yet, was supposed to ship Thursday, I was told I'd recieve an E-Mail regarding shipment, no E-Mail either.

Thanks Tp and LdyJay! I check my throttle cable and it seems to be working ok. I put the original needle in and played with the mixture a bit and I still can't get it to idle! I thoughtI would try a different jet and did something stupid. I over torqued the main jet holder and bent it! I have a new one on order from Tacoma Power sports. They said 7 to 10 days! Anyone know were to get one sooner?

Wild, Tiny Midget, Fred, Kyle and I rode at middle waddle today. Fred dumped his twice and tried to take out a bridge bent his clutch but he is ok. Kyle's 450 wouldn't start when we got there he had to go back into town to get another spark plug The midgets battery is dead so we push started her 350 all day Wild messed up his knee pretty good but I am sure the midget will keep him in line and send him to the Doc if necessary But the weather was beautiful and the trails were not too over crowded. I am tired and hitting the rack.

Started up the Saturn and it is much improved too. No longer sounds like the water pump is going to fall out the side. And yes, I checked the coolant. THANKS again for all the help!

A ride in the morning sounds perfect. It's going to be a beautiful day. Yes, the offer for the Z is still open and 9-10ish will be just about right for me to get home and load the quads up, so just let me know if it's a go. I have the wolvie, too if we need one more. img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Thats another markin the amazing coloum. It only took me 1 hr and 20 min to get out of the ER with crutchs and a knee brace. I just wish Madigan could work like that all the time. All and all they said that I sprianed my knee and that I need to go to PT to find out if I need to go under the knife. i should find out in a few days. 6 months to a year recoop. I hope that doesn't happen. The wife will really hate me then b/c then I have a yr to build the machine i will kill myself on.

That's BS about PT to find out if you need surgery. They need to do an MRI of your knee and that will tell them everything they need to know. If the knee is really needing surgery, PT will just damage it more. What? on Mom's day do they staff the ER with morons and privates?

I have my capris on today, i'm already ready. I got burned pretty bad yesterday, so i'm sore and have the chills. My ankles look like i have socks on because we were working on the garage and i didn't want to drop anything on my feet so i had socks and shoes on, well now i have a line all the way around my ankle. Looks pretty funny. My face is pretty red and the tops of my legs are really burnt. I love the sun, I hope it stays!!!

Good Morning PSAR Looks like it is going to be a great day. I wish I was riding instead of sitting in the office. But with Wild down and out I wouldn't have anybody to tow around anyway. I am sure I could find a few Yami's out there that need some towing though.

I have my capris on today, i'm already ready. I got burned pretty bad yesterday, so i'm sore and have the chills. My ankles look like i have socks on because we were working on the garage and i didn't want to drop anything on my feet so i had socks and shoes on, well now i have a line all the way around my ankle. Looks pretty funny. My face is pretty red and the tops of my legs are really burnt. I love the sun, I hope it stays!!!

Wow, that is a great deal. I should probably go there and get 2 flats. I could use some color around my house. Will see if i make my day down there. Do you know what day the sale ends dm?

Bummer on the sun burn but just think of the tan you will have I hate when you have shoes/socks on & get burnt haha As for when the sale ends I'm not sure all I konw is it's thier Founder's Day sale, I'm thinking I might have to get another one too, my hillside is looking pretty bleak since I killed all the weeds/grass on it, it has a couple newbie Rose bushes but you can't even see them so I'm thinking some color is in order for it!!

went to the doctor again today. And like I said yesterday, they are sending me to PT before ortho. they said that ortho wants to know that I went to PT so that they know I tried before they work on me. All I want is an MRI but now your are talking common sense and the Army doesn't run like that, or at least the doctors.

Let see what Made coffee, dropped brand new quart of flavored creamer. Got from the fridge to the hallway carpet with that. Could not cross it, or clean it with out brace on(brace on couch). had to sit on the floor and wipe up, then hand mop the area, but got it.

Made a sandwich, with the fried eggs, dropped the mayo onto the stove. Cleaned that up.

Got flavored coffee and egg sandwich to couch, but now to hot and pissed to eat.

So yeah I guess I'll post it up.
