Looks like I get to walk among the day dwellers come July 1st. 4-10 wrap around. Fri-Monday, dayshift. No weekends off, but 3 days off a week in the summer and evenings off even when I am working. Couple vacation days will give me almost a week. Can't beat that with a stick. Think I might even adjust to that bright light in the sky everyone says you are supposed to be awake when it's around. I don't understand it, but I am willing to give it a try! Less crowded during the week for camping or whatever, too. We shall see. BR>

LdyJay: Takes a while to get used to working weekends and making plans with folks that have weekends off but I suspect you will like it. SWMBO and I had that kind of schedule for a number of years and really liked it. Having time off durning the week does make for a lot less crowded camping, fishing and such and also makes it really easy to take care of medical appointments and other business stuff. I really think the advantages outweigh the problems that come up. One of the big advantages is the big bosses seldom, if ever, are interfearing with getting the work done. You may not have that problem where you work but most folks will understand this. The 4-10s is a sweet shift. Hope it works for you.

Hey bing that sucks. Ematrol will help with the upchuckin. I think I spelled it right. Its pricy though but works like a champ. You can find it at all the Pharmacies. and once you stop blowing chunks if you have some percocet will back you up to stop squirting.

thanks Wild,,,Julie just got some pedialyte at the pharmacy,,,,,and i have been able to hold down about 8 ozs of water since my last post. Nothing left to squirt either,,,,seems to have stopped.

You really should be checked out by a doc. Vital organs shut down quickly when dehydrated.

Yeah, he said they were pretty hard. Not pliable at all.
He also said there was a lot of oil build up on the exhuast side. More than just from starting it since we put on the new cylinder. He thought I probably had a seal leaking for quite some time but not enough to smoke on start up.

Nate trained on a 50 cal in sniper training.
He could take out a rabbit at 600 meters.
He is a Bradley gunner and the gun on top of that is a 25mm Brush Master.
It's mounted on the Bradley and remote operated.

And for the record when you shoot it at an 850lb bull elk at nearly 800 meters with a properly placed round it still falls over. To each their own I say. By the way Bear what the hell are you putting a 525 Grain bullet into? You got an old 600 Express laying around or something? If you do I want to shoot it!

45/70 Government!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! An oldie but one of the best. I own a Ruger #1, an 1895SS, a Mauser 1871/84 and a Contender Super 14 pistol all in 45/70. I am working on a deal for a 50 Cal. rifle which involves a double trade and some cash.

Ummm. We may have to discuss this over breakfast Thursday. While I agree that calibers above .458 are desireable I don't think the, as you call them, "mouse" calibers start till you get down to the .177's or .144's.
The 6MM, .244 and .257's are kind of a middle class thing for learning on. Stuff you let the kids shoot.

Pretty much the same effect you get with 950 grains of .50 Cal soft lead that has been ejected by 70 grains of FFG.
Gotta love those big bores.

anyway, the tool list at the top of the instructions said to have a flywheel puller, none were to found locally, so I ordered one last week...Shipped Monday with a one week transit time.

Not a problem on the delay, you can see what time I got back to the computer. Thursday at 9AM at the Shelton Denny's, which is at the 3rd Shelton exit (Wallace-Kneeland Blvd and you can see the Denny's to your right from the stop sign at the exit) coming from the south on Hwy 101. I alway park in the Fred Meyers parking lot next to the Denny's when I'm towing a trailer. I have one other lined up and my wife may also attend.

these flags are two pieces sewn together so the words won't be backwards on one side, just gonna have to split seams to get then embroidered

Not a problem on the delay, you can see what time I got back to the computer. Thursday at 9AM at the Shelton Denny's, which is at the 3rd Shelton exit (Wallace-Kneeland Blvd and you can see the Denny's to your right from the stop sign at the exit) coming from the south on Hwy 101. I alway park in the Fred Meyers parking lot next to the Denny's when I'm towing a trailer. I have one other lined up and my wife may also attend.

I almost fell to my knees when the wave of stank hit me in the face.

If you do a stage II on that rappie, you have to do valve springs. If you are doing valve springs, you might as well do more than drop in the cam. You will start looking at big pile of money, but you will love more power.
I guess if you wanna go cheap, do the stage one. You will feel a difference, and will still have money for a 12 pack of Busch.

The surgery went "textbook", according the knifeman. I unwrapped it the other day, and it looks good. 7 staples total. Oh and the fruity doc drew xoxoxo and a heart on my knee.

Keeping in mind my lack of mechanical knowledge, but yearning to learn and experiment....
I'm debating on looking for a 300ex that built/or partially built as a good racer/dune rider img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">.
Or, getting a mostly stock 300 and researching what/how to build it up.
My intentions for this one is a entry level racer/dune rider for Ashley.
I want her to learn on it. She is still young and has plenty of time.
Still want as much reliabilty as I can get.
This will also be for Tam to ride at the dunes, and eventually be hers.
I'm waiting for Yamaha to come out with their replacement for the Blaster.
I've got some insider info on possibilities for a replacement, and the timing will be about right to get one for
Ashley to race next year or so.
