She was a funny ol lady. My mum and her cousins (my great aunts kids) were at the hospitol with her and about 10pm thursday she said you guys go home now its time for me to make my trip to heavan and about 5:30 am she passed. she went in good spirits and was ok with it all. and her wishes were for a celebration of her life not a mourning her death. I aint real keen on funerals and wakes and what not. Id much rather go riding im tryin to get out of it still.

I wish if i had a working quad...i would so go...hehe my quad is still down from the sand lake trip...i havent even opened it up....cause i tried to work as much as i could before i left that job...hehe now im just getting another job down there and should be good....theres a kawasaki dealer and a suzuki dealership down t here....and im sure ill be at paulsons every weekend asking if i can test ride every quad there hehe just to get my dreams going again...ok peace out

Hey Guys, I have 2 05 Rancher AT's, I posted this to the Honda Forum
OK this is my last hope before I take it into the shop. My Rancher AT flashes ESP instead of displaying the N, D, R (Neutral) (Drive) (Reverse). It starts fine, when put into Reverse I just get a bunch of sputtering and jerking. In Drive it will move forward but I can't shift out of 1st Gear and the power is seriously impaired. ESP is the error code for the computer; it flashes 12 times then is solid for a few seconds. The Book says that 12 is the ECU CPU error. But I can play around in forward making sharp right and left turns shut it off then restart and every now and then it will display correctly and I can ride normally. That makes me think it has to be a short in a wire somewhere. I don't want to take it to the shop and have them replace the CPU if it is just a wire that is loose or shorted. Any ideas?
I have done just about everything I can think of. This is the first time I have ever had to take one into the shop. Is there one shop around here that is better than another? I bought them at Tacoma Motor Sports off Center St.

There is Ranier Honda on Pacific Ave. But there not into quads to much. Even though I've bought a couple there, don't do much service or buying of parts.
You could take it there and see what they say though........
I don't like Tacoma Motorsports, they were jerks to myself and me neighbor on numerous occassions.
You can try giving Hinshaws a try...They are off Highway 18 just before the Super Mall in Auburn.
They've been nice when I go in there. I've got parts and stuff, but never had service done.
Good Luck though.
My buddy had similar issues with his Honda Recon. He tried all the diagnosis and changing of parts that he could, without any luck BR>It's still sitting.........................

The Northwest Quad National outdoor MX series is starting this weekend.
It should be a pretty fun series.
Saturday practices, Sunday Races.
There are races at Horn Rapids, Eddieville, Burnt Ridge, Pacific Raceways, and ????
This weekend is at Burnt Ridge. Exit 71 off I-5..
It is suppose to be a similar track to Woodland.
5 or six of the races will be at Pacific Raceways.
Some folks are just doing those and not traveling all over.
They have some fun classes.
They are having a Family fun race after practice on Saturdays. Two family members team up to race.

One new thing for the Mini-classes............
They are going to A - B - C classes.
It'll be rider ability instead of type of machine
We'll see how that goes.
I think the mini classes will big, lots at Oakwood this year

Last update was 2002 I believe. On that map they have roads marked that they are no longer going to maintain, and will be eventually taken off the map.
That's why I keep all the maps I ever get. I've got about 3 or 4 versions of the Capitol Forest maps.

I've got laminated maps that are small and easy to carry while riding.
I cut it down to only the area with roads and trails, then divided it in half (top and bottom half), and put them back to back.

The state printing shop is out off Old Highway 99 across from the Oly airport. I would have to look up the address. They also have maps for Tahuya and another state controlled lands. They even have maps of all the logging roads.

Try removing one component at a time between the 2. If the problem swithes quads, you have your bad part. I don't know how those electronic quads work, but I would look into the grounds. Electronic component get real funny with a faulty ground.

Well DJ got the 426 tore down & the timing chain came off the bottom gear, HOPEFULLY it is just stretched & the gear is OK does anyone have any suggestions?? Umm... HOW THE FOCK would your clutch be toast.. What kinda oil you using? I am extremely abusive on my clutch and mine aint whiped out yet and i have wayt more miles that you im sure. hows your adjustment?
DJ is still to my knowledge on the stock clutch on his fofiddy, it is 2 years old this month lots of oil changes, a chitload of oil changes

The 99 bigbore EX, has never had a clutch in it. I have boiled the oil out of it, abusing the clutch, and its still holding.

I just saw this post. I would have loved to joined you guys, but I have class at 1p. Not enough time to load up, get there, ride, come home and put it away, since I refuse to leave that tastey morsel in the back of my truck in a college parking lot far away from my class.
Besides, I already popped the pea shooter and installed the CRBM, so it isn't as quiet as it was. Not that it would take much to go back to stock to ride with you. Just more time than I have today.
