no biggie, I know this guy that works for Ronnies mail order that can get a sweet hookup on Honda hardparts. He is total whore on prices. 30% less than they advertise to the public. BR>
I'm gonna get the Pirate Ship's captain to help me with the repair.

DM, sorry to hear about Art. My thoughts are with you guys. Medical technology has come a long way and what used to be life threatening is much more easily corrected now than in years past. Here's hoping for an easy recovery.

MB, glad to hear you are happy with the new ride. BR>
Found some treats for the next PSAR gathering. Flavored Mexican Water. Gotta love the taste testing they have in the Tekillya shops down here. Now that's a good way to sell a product! img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

Went on our A T V tour today. Dusty, but pretty scenery. Muchos Vacas. The tour started and ended at the Agave plantation and after the ride they had taste testing of the different types of tekillya they make right there at the farm. Yummy. Anyway, everyone have a great evening. Adios.

Like I said before, those test rides rides are great. You have to be careful of how much you sample the Mexican Water. It is realy cool to ride ride out and drink.

We are still counting on you for the Rock Candy ride, don't drink too muchimg src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

DM sorry to here about your father. He will be in our prayers. Two things, what is a pirate bike? I found out that I have 24 hr duty on the 7th. I will try to get some zzzz that night so I can go to Rock candy. On the pirate bike note, I was thinking about making a single rider sand rail with a atv motor b/c it would be easier to modify. Anybody got any ideas. Or I could make a bar stool racer that can go on sand or through the mud??? Just in a creative mood. I want to build something.

Nighty night - over to the samba to read up about westies - we'll be starting the bus resto when the parts arrive - yikes!

Gotta clean up the little bitty garage so we have room to work. Josh is gonna learn me & michael howta replace sheet metal on the car.

Figure we can learn on the bus then we'll know what the heck we're doing on the Dodge when we decide to do the resto on it.

When is "talk like a pirate day"? Makes me think of seafair

Time for me to do some shoppin. parts parts parts hr>

That probably would of been funny to see his feet sliding all over, when he's trying to stand up.

Thanks for the thoughts about Art I'm sure if he seen all of them he'd think that was pretty neat He looks pretty good we took him some ATV Action mags & a couple Dirt Wheels & a desert too img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> He's a happy camper now!!

Bill glad to hear your liking the R OMG don't tell Wonderboy it's faster than Elinore LOL you will have a race on your hands img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> But them R's are friggin fast if built right!!
When is bbbtats comin' home?? Is she racing it the next raceimg src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> Which would be April 15? What ever happened w/ the supermoto?????????? We can't just be sprung w/ it the week before img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> Haven't heard anything more on it, seems he is waiting an awful long time before advertising or maybe I'm just missing it!!

Posted by: maggiesboy

Brenda will be home tomorrow night. Brandon will not be racing in the 80 class on the 15th. The flat track program down there sucks. Too friggin hardcore. Getting the boy hurt just isn't worth it. I have no clue if she is racing or not. The PB needs 3rd gear before it goes racing.

Supermoto, you know as much as I do at this point. When I get info, it will be posted.

they are stitched with zip ties on one side, lots of stickers on them. If a member of the PSAR wants the rears, they can come and get them. I need to reclaim my garage.

For the Z250 I got Armadillo A-Arm, Full Chassis and Swing Arm skids.
For the Raptor I got DG Fat Series A-Arms, Full Chassis and a DG Baja Swing Arm skid.

I had to get them for the upcoming Rock Candy ride. Now I get to play in the garage tonight.

Where would i find the name plate and numbers for the chest protectors? My nephew wants his number and name on the back of his. I haven't really looked around yet, just trying to figure out who has the best price. Also i want to get him a sweatshirt with his name and number, anybody know where i can get it done for a good price?

if you know the brand of his chest protector you can get a skorboards blank. So-cal decal works will build you a plate for around $50.00 all lettered up. here is a blank with the vinyl by RPM Signs in Arlington.

If you go to the gallery, search for Minimadman's photo page. He has a picture of the So-Cal decal plate there.

Posted by: maggiesboy

here is Minimadman's page

RPM signs has done alot for me and done stuff for Dirtymomma as well. Tom at RPM is the MAN!

Posted by: warriorqueen

Thanks MB, I will check out that website when i get home. My work blocks that site.

Another question, this might be for Randy or Larry. Have you guys geared down your raptors yet? The dealer doesn't have one in stock and they really don't have any info on them. RMATV says that the stock is 14, so i want a 13.

thats funny, the first one is MSN's PSAR sight , and them the gallery for ATV conn forums on the second, Tom is typically around a twenty spot on ID panels

Bear4570, I forgot all about the fairgrounds. I guess because it's so close to me. lol BR>
We'll definitely have to do that pretty soon. How about on a weekend after the Rock Candy ride. I know my wife will want to come along, so I need to find out when she's not on call.

What mods are done ? I know I read he had a PC III does he have a high flow filter and pipe? What size rear sand tires is he going to be running?

The 700R has so much torque that I have been able to easily pull a 15 with 20' sandstars and then 1st gear is not useless if you need it. The stock 14 also works well with 20' rears, you can pull any hill or tree shot in 2nd and 3rd gear.

I would only drop to a 13 if you have 22' straight paddles on the 700R otherwise you rev out of the power range to quick and can't take advantage of the low and mid range torque.

The 700R's like to be short shifted to let the torque do the work, that's where it shines

Posted by: warriorqueen

He has a PCIII, high flower filter (not sure what kind), and the DMC (i think) pipe. He runs 22 inch hauler paddles. Justin said that he wanted to gear down, which would mean a 13. But a dealership in Woodinville said that they won't have any until May. Cycle barn has to order one. RMATV has one that is called primary drive front sprocket 13 tooth, which is $7.99 and i would get it shipped overnight, so i know we would have it in time for St A's.

Angie I would just order it up from RMATV you will have it in 3 days!!! I did a big order w/ the swaybar ect & it was to my door in 3 days img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> they are AWESOME like that even w/ tires!! Youc an also order up the chest protector back plate for the FOX from them too heck if you order $100 or more it's FREE shipping hahaha better throw sompin' in for yourself img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> As for the lettering on the sweatshirt, they also sell a iron on kit thru RMATV you can just do it yourself!! If you don't want to do it I can get it done for you img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> I need to make a new one up for DJ & Trev too,
When are you leaving for St. A's again??

MB........Dang $20 for the letting on a chest protector img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif" border="0">img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif" border="0"> WOW that's cheap!! DJ is in need of a new chest protector soon so I'm hoping we can use the one we just had made fit to a new one we'll see though!!

Posted by: warriorqueen

We are leaving early Friday morning. We didn't know we were going FOR SURE until basically last night. I love it when Justin won't give me a direct answer when i ask him every day for a week!!! *Big Sigh*

Anyways...if i do order from RMATV i will probably do the 1 day. With chipping it all adds up to the amount to the dealership's price. I'm not going to order the lettering today. I have to save my money for the diesel. 12 hours of driving is ALOT of diesel and a big bill. LOL

We'll definitely have to do that pretty soon. How about on a weekend after the Rock Candy ride. I know my wife will want to come along, so I need to find out when she's not on call.

That would work for me. Mywife is off that morning at 8AM, so she can go if she wants. Hopefully it works for your wife too.

What?, You want us to stop doing the only thing we can do exceptionally well. Annoying girls is an art we start practicing at a very early age.

OK I REALLY NEED TO VENT!! YES I'M YELLING!!!!!!

If you have a Chase credit card GET RID OF IT NOW! They have been f'in with me for less than a year and i'm basically screwed now. I have a o percent credit card with them. Last month they did not send me a bill. I gave them until the due date, and then i called. I told them that they didn't send a bill and i was calling to make a payment. Oh mam there is a $20 fee for paying over the phone, i said screw that i'm sending a check in the mail, and i did over night it. I hate being late on my payments, basically i'm never late, cuz if i dont' receive a bill then i call on the due date and pay. Anyways... they have been giving me a finance charge every single month, worth $40 or more. Now if i make a $100 payment how the hell do they expect me to pay the CC off when i'm only making a $60 payment. Make since?? So i call them for the third time today and ask them, if i close it(cancel it), will i still be getting charged the finance charges, yes mam you will. ARE YOU F'IN KIDDING ME??!? What i was told was that it only benifits me, to not use the card. Ever since i have had the card i have used it 3 times and i have 17 finance charges! I am now calling my other CC company to up my limit so i can get rid of these cock suckers!!!

GOD I'M SO PISSED!!! I HATE CHASE CREDIT CARD...........

sorry you had to listen to me vent.

We have the T shirt shop in the Everett mall to our sweatshirts. They have designed 3 models for us so far. Buy a sweatshirt from athlete foot or wherever, then go to the T-shirt store. Tell them what you want, and then you help design it on the computer. Come back in like a half hour and it is ready. I think it is about $20 to have it name and numbered.

Last weekend a WAATVA group ran the trails for the upcoming Poker Run (April 1 & 2) and they are in good shape now. We filled in some pretty big erosion spots. The previous weekend we cleared a bunch of downed trees. We have now done 6 weekends of trail work and have the entire long course and the short course clear and passable. If the weather holds, it will be a very nice weekend. If you haven't registered for the poker run, be sure to show early. Hope to see some of you there.

RMATV has one that is called primary drive front sprocket 13 tooth, which is $7.99 and i would get it shipped overnight, so i know we would have it in time for St A's.
Get a YFZ 40T, not quite equal to a 13 in the front, but better than stock, that's what I'm running on mine.

Angie, I ran 13/41 on z400 for most of the time I owned it. Made it much better for pulling out of treeshots, which was my main goal.I just got used to that gear ratio and never bothered to change for trail riding. It makes 2nd gear fairly long, but still has enough to pull up the hill.

I don't know of any in Washington and in Oregon, the only one I know of is Honeyman State Park and you can only ride out of the park from Oct. 1st - April 31st.
Also in Oregon there is Discovery Point at the Winchester dunes. Both places take reservations.
Oh yeah, there is also a KOA in Hauser on the Coos Bay dunes.

Stock gearing for the 700R is 14/39, I'm now running 14/40 with 22's, haven't ridden it enough with this gearing to know if I like it, will probably play with the gearing once it's gets put back together.

Stock gearing for the 660R is 13/40, I'm now running 12/42 with 22's, this is my trail setup (Tractor Gearing).

They're trying to keep the hours down to 45 or so, hired a couple new drivers, still alittle slow this time of year. I hit my 45 in 4 days, so I get a day off during the week, same goes for all the drivers. Once summer hits, we'll be back at 5 days 50-60 hrs

I was also thinkin if he didnt mill out the big sprocket to full depth it would make a nice ashtray

Posted by: HappaRap

All parts are out of the sprocket area, a thrown chain 2 yrs ago did alittle damage I never noticed, nothing major though, just need a couple of bolts that hold the plate cover, there's alittle slice in the case itself but didn't go through, so no leaking there. Looks like it's just the rubber seal that needs to be replaced. I'll be heading to my local parts house, they'll probably have to order my parts

For Oregon look here:

http://www.oohva.org/pages/map.html

Washington here:

http://www.nmaoffroad.org/orvtrail.htm

As to hookups you just need to do the research, but most OHV places don't have it. You need a generator for sure. Schucks Auto Parts has some for very cheap that are Honda motor built in China, lots of power too. Mine is a 3500/3000 watt rig, but the latest model is 4000 I thing for about $300. They have a big muffler too for quiet.

That expensive stuff always breaks. That's why I bought mine from Harbor Freight for $50 when it was on sale. It's work hundreds of times for over 2 years now, never a problem one.

It's just a $79 jack, nothing expensive. It's working now, I forgot everytime you depress the foot control to lower the quad, it goes down in small increments and stops, so basically, you have to pump the foot control several times in order to lower it all the way down.

There are going to be way to many riders out of the poker run from Waddell Creek. I haven't seen the long course, but I will bet it includes the North Rim passed Rock Candy.

Um bear i would venture to say negative on the northrim when staging outta waddel. Thats sompin like a 60 mile loop. noo way they sendin them out on that.40 miles max they will do the long loop... If i busted out my map i could tell you what loop is practical for them to run hey will most likely go up to rock candy mountain at the far end of it come down and head back. thats likethe rockcand molly loop or sompin. they go waddel to molly to candy back to waddel thats about 35 - 40 miles .

Posted by: OneFlyCowboy

I just looked. RThey aint gonng get out to porter molly. Thats a hella long ride

Posted by: OneFlyCowboy

Lookin at my map i would say long route would be Mima Porter #8 out to Green #6 by the c-4000 line and take green 6 back to waddel.
