OK>>OK>> so I rambled a "little bit"

Only because to reiterate that ALL the parents in this thread race with their kids to have fun.
Good ol' FAMILY fun........
When it's not fun anymore, we won't do it...

I urks me to no end when I've seen parents have their kids crying in line waiting to go out
and they are being a$$es to their kids. Or telling them "I've spent to much money for you to quit now".
Or one poor kids who's hands were freezing (boy it was cold out) and he could barely hold onto the handlebars, who's dad was yelling at him to stop crying that none of the other kids hands were cold and were crying.

I've seen crappy parents on a few occassions, and even had a "moment" with one who was trash talking and accusing my daughter of cheating.

So in short....... Atta boys/girls across the board to all the PSAR parents (and supporting PSAR members who come out to watch)

We are a great group that enjoy this sport, and with the great attitudes will pass on the love of it to our kids

It would be cool if dealers had DEMO models.. thats one thing that licks arse about buying quads n mocycles. Wheres the test ride? you get it with anything else you buy. but your expected to have friends who buy them and let you test

March 23-26 im gonna go to Florance. Were gonna stay at the Driftwood Campground. Ive never been there, what site # are good to camp at? I wanna reserve the spot ahead of time so when we get there we can go right to riding. Also any pics of the sites would be helpful too.

just put a GPS locater that is waterproof on the motor so that we can get it after the Wreck. Someone big will have to be up front to plain it out. What are we looking at for fuel mileage??? We can just pump fuel in the sides of the raft, it shouldn't eat through the rubber.

you couldnt pay me to sit in that boat with a 25hp on it let alone a 175. If you seen then NoN Rigid inflatables goin over 20mph you would understand. i seen bings bigger zodiac zippin on lake washington in the wind and that was enough squiriling to make me nervous. If it was a RIB i would be all over this task ven though a 15' rib witha 88hp on it will flat out scream in some rough stuff. Coast gaurd has them.. pretty kewl. the safe boats are even better But a ridiculous amount of cash is wanted for those things. Its Friggin government can buy some expensive toys.

I gotta agree with you OFC. I've been over 130 mph on the water an my butt will not ride in that flimsy thing under no conditions, whatever.

Then I guess I will be the young reckless one. I'd try just to see how she rides. Funeral services will be held on Post at the Chapel everyone present for the boat ride is welcome to attend!

it would fit
lets try it out

The motor weighs 300 lbs, Are you sure it will float with you in the back with the motor? For sure, I won't get in it.

lets go remote control/video camera setup,,,,the boat is tough....

Hey there,

Anybody know someplace down here on the Southend I can get some decent race gas.
I guess I gotta run that in the LT80 now that the compression is a wee bit high..

Thanks

There is a Union 76 distributor in Shelton that has racing gas. But a cheaper way to go (unless your compression is better than 12 to 1) is to use 100LL Aviation gas.

I don't think so, the motor is the one I set 3 speed records and took 2 National High Point Championships with, I think I will preserve it for my ego room.

Posted by: maggiesboy

here is a bit of fuel info (what to run)

If your compression is up to 150 straight 93 octane will be good

150-190 mix 3 gallons of 110 to 2 gallons of 93 for target of 105

190 plus use straight 110

We will be leaving AM along with RealtorRider. We camp at the 2nd Bowl when you enter from the East side. I have a 24' Weekend Warrior Super Lite w/ my 2500 White MC Sierra truck. Can't miss me.

Pancake House at 8:30 in the am, for those interested. That will put us in Moses and on the dunes by noon, after setting up.

190 plus use straight 110

Thanks MB and BEAR for the info.

MB, That is exactly what I've been told. The compression is right around 190.
So I was gonna start off mixing it 3 gallons to 2 gallons to break her in.
Then check the compression after she gets running to see what it is.

So I'm looking for some place around here to get the race fuel.
I thought I heard there was somewhere in Tacoma or Auburn I could find it.

Thanks Again

Evening PSAR! Greetings from Mehico! I am on my way down to the beach party to continue enjoying the open bar.img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> What happens in Mehico, stays in Mehico. I am thinking I want to bring back a treat for the next PSAR gathering, so suggestions would be nice. I can bring back some mexican water, but I don't know if anyone drinks tekillya so if that not a popular one, how about some suggestions? Banana Rum is on the top of the list so far.

For those of you heading to Moses, have a great trip and drive safe. Hasta Luego, mis amigos!!

There is a bottle of "goodness", that comes from there. It has a yellow label, and the liquid is clear. It tastes real close to Jaegermiester, but don't know what it is.

Good evening PSAR. I've been reading this area for some time now and would like to tag along on one of your outings if that is OK. I'm 64 years old and not into high speed riding but do enjoy the outdoors and spending time with good people. My wife is a nurse and will not be retiring till next year. Since she works weekends I would be going solo for some time yet. We also spend some time in Mexico, our oldest son lives in Mazatlan, and in Centerville, Wa. just a couple of miles from Eddieville at our little farm.

I have a 360 Prairie that to this time I have used mostly for work around the farm but want to do some trail riding. Being inexperienced it would be best to start with a more "rider friendly" route I would think.

Thanks for listening and any comments appriciated.

Yup, Eddieville is owned and operated by Scott Doubrausky and is visable from our place. Scott is from an old family in the area and the track is named after the patriarch Ed Doubrausky.

It's a well laid out track and races their draw many racers and spectators. Go to www.overthebarsgang.com for a bit of history and such on this and the Starvation Ridge tracks.

Thanks for the welcome.

Thanks for the invite, Where is "Rock Candy/Capital Forest? At the present time it appears I would be able to attend as I seldom have a whole lot to do other than morning coffee at the local cafe and shopping with SWMBO a couple days a week.

Breakfast is usually at "The Place at the Mudd Bay exit off 101/8 an hour before the ride.

And welcome. Hot damn finally someone older than me. :img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">
