Grant county passed a measure / bill last year to BAN alcohol at it's ORV parks. Too many drunken night rides turned bad I guess. So the do a complete ban. It is illegal to have it in an ice chest, fridge, anywhere on the gounds.

I highly doubt it. The wife leaves for Texas on Wednesday, and I work all weekend BR>I'm not gonna buy tires for the Pirate Bike until it's paid off.

As for tires at Moses, I've always run paddles, front and rear, you don't need them, there are no big hills to climb.

Ok well the more & more I think about Moses I don't think we will be going It just doesn't seem to be in the budget right now but maybe things will change by then!!

There is no preset camping at Moses. I always park/camp next to the bowl at the back entrance. If you enter from the East side of the lake, it would be the second bowl off the access road. If you enter from the West side, it will be the first bowl in the back. RR and I will try to block off as much as we can, and have people space out to make room for late arrivals.

I have ridden there a bunch and have NEVER had my tabs checked. I am sure the first time I go with expired ones, I will get a ticket.

As far as alcohol, one of the ORV Police officer told me "If you are cool and causing no problems, I will have no reason to come looking for alcohol" he also said to make sure to drink in a cup and keep it in the trailer. If he sees a beer can, he will have to stop. Also, the bigger the group, the more they will come by. So the bottem line is, KEEP IT COOL & NO SPEEDING/HOTDOGGING through the camping area.

Dirt, you have to come. Peyton is looking forward to having someone t play with. The little guy and her had so much fun playin at Sand Lake. She will be bummed if he doesn't come. She said she wanted to come only for that reason, being she can't ride with her cast.

Not True.... I was just over there on Saturday and there was two Sheriff's in their trucks. There was also alot of horses being trained out there by police, so there was alot of sheriff's there. The busy season is coming so they are going to be out there.

Hey Ray when was the last time you were at Moses? Like i have said i was over there on Saturday and on the back entrance they paved it more. HAve you noticed that? The pavement goes all the way past the turn off for the first bowl.

I also made some damn good time driving over there and back. From Renton, i made it there in 3 1/2 hours and that was stopping in Elensburg to eat which took 1/2 hour. When we were at the gas station to come home, it was 4. i had to drive all the way back to the dunes because my friend couldn't find her quad key. Drove straight through the dunes and hit the freeway at 4:30, pulled in to her driveway at 7. PHEW!

Well, I think if you don't drink outside your rig, drink inside your rig, cup or not, and don't act like an idiot outside your rig, you probably won't have any problems. I doubt they'll be knocking on doors asking to check your refer, you just have to use alittle common sense when it comes to how you act around the law and your campsite

Then there was the Swain's, Chandra told DJ before the races she'd TRY not to run over him then after DJ beat her & did a clean "bump" pass her Daddy came over & said "now that she knows you want to bump you better look out" Joel was standing there then & we all laughed Joel asked DJ if he was skeert now hahaha So thats what thats all about hr>

It's on the east side. It was weird i was just driving along and I thought to myself crap i need to slow down for the big hole, where the cement and gravel meet. I almost came to a complete stop and realized that it was paved. I believe why they paved it is because there is a house right there, and they probably did some complaining about the dust. I think they should pave it all the way to the top of the hill over looking the lake. So basically the last bathroom. Riders don't start crossing the road until right there anyways. Oh I always go in through the east side, it's faster.

I've never gone to Moses on a Holiday weekend, all the times I've been there have just been regular weekends and I never have had any run ins with the Law or even seen them for that matter. I have heard it's a zoo on holiday weekends but so are the other places we ride in the sand As for the cops being out there last weekend
it only stands to reason if the police were their training horses then your going to have lots of Sherrifs and Police around the area. From past experience this is not the norm for off non holiday weekends unless there have been some problems recently.

The weather does not look that bad, nor does it look that good for the Moses trip. I think they will be just fine. Highs, upper 50's, Lows, mid 30's. 20% chance of rain on Fri, 30% on Saturday and partly cloudy on Sunday.

Temps are good on the pass for Fri w/ rain and upper 30's for the return trip w/ chance of snow in the late afternoon.

Good afternoon kids BR>
Well I think it's agreed we WON'T be attending the Moses trip img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif" border="0"> but it's all good we may still go camping @ darrington so if anyone wants to come your more than welcome we just gonna stick to some good ol' trial riding & sticking closer to home I have a long work week along w/ Ron & we have yard/house stuff blah blah blah plus we'd rather spend the $40 on gas for the motorhome & quads to go to Darrington than the $100-$150 on Moses!!

I made it to work, with the help of about 1500mg of Advil, oh and a little something, something in an orange bottle. It is very tender, but WAY than yesterday. If it improves more in the next day or 2, I should be good. If I hurt this bad Friday eve, I'll go to the doctor.

A group of PSAR folks raced there two years ago - Sandbomber, son, and Pete, Raptorchick & I, LokiDS650 and his bud Aaron, Dual-sporter and his brother, a whole contingent from the defunct Washington Quad Rider group - it was a lot of fun!!! I highly recommend it!

We would be racing there this coming weekend as a family team except we have no one to supervise the little ones and there is NO WAY we are going to leave two pretty little girls and a clueless little boy on their own at a racetrack for 4 hours. So, we get to go have fun at Moses with our friends and all the kids can ride.

I thought it was an awesome fun track even when I rolled it and Dual-sporter roosted me!

I was practicing on Sunday for my return to MX racing with the LTR. Remembered that my DS has nerf bars for a reason. Toes caught in some dirt on the track as I tried to shift. Instead of shifting from 2d to 3d, I shifted my toes and riding boots around the peg. OW! Glen, get me some parts for that LTR! Nerfs and Pegs!

Its great having the new bike on the block, except for finding the parts you need. LOL.

No Joke. I love my LTR, but dang, I caught a couple sticks weekend before last that reminded me of the same thing. Really want some nerfs, soon! Found some with pegs and heel guards in black, but I got a call the day after I placed my order to tell me they didn't actually have them in stock and didn't know when they were going to get them. I cancelled the order and figure I will have to start searching when I get back. Maybe in a couple weeks there will be some better progress.

Good Morning PSAR.

Jayna, have a great trip to Mexico. My friends where down there and took a quad tour to one of the Tequilla places. They rode out to the place, had lunch with alot of tequilla and then rode back. It was about a 6 hour trip, counting lunch and drinking. They had a blast.

It would need more than a 10 hp to fly. I have this slick little race motor with a short shaft that makes about 175 hp, I'll bet that would make it fly, if you never shut the motor off, as it would sink then.
