Kym, I know how you feel, I won't be one of these parents at the track that forces the kids to ride.
Brandon just falls apart when he has to miss a race because he acts like a butthole. He is the first little guy that will miss a race due to the sniffles. We learned our lesson last year on that. T o u g h to drive that far and then he tells us he dosen't feel good.
That is why Ty has not ridden more, we won't tell him he has to. Plus he is predictable as slug slime.

Hayley tested my thoughts on that theory last weekend when I hurt my back...
Not riding of course, but filling my benerator img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
There was 3 races left at Oakwood.
She is(was) smoking the 2nd place person in points for the series. Just needed to finish out the races to take first place.
But when I got hurt and had to go to the hospital in the medic unit, she wanted to go to the hospital with me.
Of course I did try to tell her I was ok and she could stay and race, but she didn't want to.
So she came to the hospital.........Family first img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">BR>Thus not racing that day and the other girl won and gained 20 points on Hayley..
Now she only has a 11 point lead with 2 races left.
The other girl just got a KFX80 that's piped and carbed, so she is right there with Hayley making for some good racing. Her and Hayley hang with each other, and she has beat hayley a couple times now.
So, hayley has to beat her, or finish right behind her to win the series. If she finished right behind her the next to races, Hayley will win the series by only 2 or 4 points.
I guess my point is, I really don't care what place she gets, as long as she has fun and wants to ride.
Had I tried to force her to stay that day and race, it might not be fun for her anymore.
But will sure make for a great last 2 races to watch.......

ok so i got home from Sand lake on sunday....and when i left on thursday and got to sand lake the dunes were covered with about 3in of snow....frekaing crazy...so no riding then to slushy....on friday the snow got hard and no more slush in the afternoon and had a hell of a time...after telling a cpl buds not to come cause of the snow...friday night saw a guy wreck his YFZ450 brand new into some driftwood toped out in 5th gear with a girl on back and helmets on but not straped....yeah and was drinking some beers...he snaped his swingarm, i think all 4 a-arms....frame is done with, uhm no more front plastics just frekaing crazy. the guy and girl were both alright and came back the next day to party with his friends with a broken quad...uhm watched some sand rails get chased by the cops that was funny to watch and overall for my first dune trip was really fun and hopeing to fix my bike before my spring break (april 1st-9th) i think i blew a seal or my new top end....aboustly no compression anymore bike was running funny all weekend...so if anyone can help me on that situation please pm me!!! hehe could use all the help...

Delete your add every couple days, or at least once a week and repost it.

WELLLLL Mister there is a BIG difference between the 305 & 450 & how they handle on the track!!!!!!!!!!! Weight, set up ect I also have one for my 300ex but it's WAAAYYYYY different than how we would set up the 450 just so you know LOL

Kym, all of your quads, except the fiddy, can do moses without paddles, regular dirt tires are enough unless you want to do some drag racing.
Your machine is not totally out either. It is just shopping, something that all smart consumers do. Right ?

It was so light though, couldn't tell anything was in it.

EWlp just towed/pushed/pulled LOL the 300 into DJ's 'work shop" he's going to tear it apart to see what's up w/ it!! NOW he's thinkin' he wants to keep it for a trail quad dang kid!!! I told him he can pick between the 300 or the Kodiak, whichever one he doesn't choose will go up for sale we GOTTA get rid of SOMETHING!! Then the blasters will be next!! At least one of them, mght have to keep the "racer" for the kids comin' up in the blaster class we'll see!!

MX = Raise it back up....put the stock A-arms back on...or buy some 400ex stock shocks to match the a-arms that are on it. Prolly put the stock swing arm back on it (the stock a-arms and swing arm come with it).
Dunes......same thing. This was my first quad ever, and I love(d) it, in the dunes on the trials....then I wanted something a little faster so I turned it into a racer. It's a great little quad. Perfect for Ashley!!
And as for trails......I think if I could pick I'd rather run the 300 than my 400....it's a great quad! BR>
