Well, I picked enough brains and got the head pulled off the LT. Found the problem.
Just need to get the head to Action Cycles and get a new piston/rings....
Should be an easy fix I think.
Way easier than my back img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif" border="0">img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif" border="0">img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif" border="0">
Threw my back out filling up my generator...slipped on a rock and twisted wrong.
Went right to the ground.
No way I could get into the van, so had to call a Medic Unit to get me to the hospital.
Gotta like having to call your buddies to come pick you up.
Got way good drugs at the hospital though, can't remember much for the next few hours after the meds img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">
The folks we race with are as great as all of you PSAR members in time of need.
They took care of the girls and made sure they got their races in. Helped load up the trailer, etc etc.
PSAR Members,Team Graff Racing and all others at Oakwood are true family.
I guess I could probably just say fellow Quad riders in general are great freaking people.
Not sure how I'm even sitting here at the puter, but just needed to say again what great people everybody out there in the quad community is......
Probalby won't be on much unless I can find my long cord so my laptop can sit on the bed.
Getting in lots of SOCOM and ATV racing on my PS though img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">
Gotta get to the Doc, but not sure how I"m gonna get out of the house..gggrrrrr

Hey Nickli
Still selling or have your ToyHauler???????
What size is it???????
-------------------
Anybody possibly interested my my Quadcycle hauling trailer??
25' Interstate, snowmobile style. Some interior pics I think in my pics.
Not sure how much...
If you want more pics, I can try to find a camera to take more, since mine died.
I'm just testing the water, but seriously thinking of a 26' or so ToyHauler.
If I do, then it's a matter of which Hauler to choose, Not looking forward to that.
Posted by: Nickli
Sean,
Toyhauler went Bye Bye last weekend. First person who looked at it took it. AND I got what I wanted outta it too. Time to move on to something different
Posted by: Quad4Fun
Thanks Nick,
I had a buddy that I think would have bought it from ya img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">
What ya going to upgrade to ?????????
I'm looking for about a 26 footer or so. Possibly the WW......
That is if I can ever get out of bed with this stupid back...gggrrrrrrimg src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">
Hey BigD and Nicklious..........and anybody else that might know..
Where are some local WW dealers????
I know there are many different makers out there (probably good ones to I'm sure), but I don't really have the patience to shop around at the numerous different ones. I know WW has a good name and reputation.
I'm bad enough, so if I started shopping around, I'd never make a decision...
Looking for about 26' or 28'.........

Just wanted you all to know about a weekend ride I was planning for the 17-19th of March at Tahuya. We are planning on camping the weekend there. We are planning on staying at the Kamenga Canyon Campground. For those of you that don't know that is off of Goat Ranch rd. Some of use will be there early on Friday to set up camp. It will be easy to find us. There will be a 36' Raptor toyhauler there with the rest of us in our little trailers all around. I sent a email around up here to see who might be interested. I know of atleast 4 trailers already and that was just starting out. Should be a good turnout. I know it could be cold but what the hell. Would be great if you all came by for the day or stay the weekend so we can all meet and get to know each other. I don't know about all of you but I enjoy meeting new people and riding with different people. The same ol crowd can get old. Well talk to you all later. If you are interested in camping please email me at gberiksen@yahoo.com so I can try figuring out how many trailers to plan for. The area is first come first serve but we can do our best to try saving a spot if at all possible. Our back-up camping spot is up in the upper area of Elfendhal pass. Hope you all have a great week.

Honeyman is only open to ORV use in the H-loop from October 1st-April 30. If you are outside that loop or those dates, you have to trailer to a day use access point. Can't even start your quads in camp.
You can sand camp down there, just need appropriate permit and flags.
Driftwood II is the other state campground with year round access to the dunes. However, it is dry camping, no hookups. They do have decent shower facilities though. I believe there is one more overnight campground, same end as Driftwood, that is partial sand camping/parking lot, but I have never been there. Reservations for Driftwood can be made onlne at Reserve America

Q4fun glad to hear your back is getting better. I for one know exactly how you feel. I have a pinch nerve in my lower back and if i do something wrong my body lets me know. Actually acouple of weeks ago it went out and i couldn't sit, lay, stand for any amount of time. I would have shooting pains down my legs. It was not fun driving that's for sure. Just keep heating and icing it will get better adventually.

DM, if you would let me take that computer for a couple days one of these months, I could probably clean it up quite a bit. However, I know how you feel, I can't seem to give mine up for very long either. BR>AVG is a good free virus software. McAfee depends on whic version you have. If you uninstall it and reinstall it, most times there is a registry entry that remains that tells the program it isn't really a new install. However, RG is right, it's worth a try. I will msg you when I get to work and can look at some other options.

Haha GEE ya thinnk I am going to mess w/ the desktop tonight to get it back online FINALLY got a modem for it now just need to figure some stuff out As soon as I do though YOU WILL DEFINETLY get my laptop it is SOOOOOOO FULL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And I've been seeing those "jump drives" you were telling me about for pretty cheap I'm going to invest in one of those soon for my pics
Now DJ has downloaded BearShare & MAN it sure did slow things down

Oh by the way Joel that was me that honked at you this morning. You were sitting at bigford ave and hwy 9.
We aren't going to St. A's in April. The Searles family is going in June. They were going to try and get the newmans to change to June too. I guess it's just too cold?? I wouldn't know! But we are planning on June now.
There is a HUGE group from ATVRiders.com going Father's Day weekend, we wanted to go but that won't be happening AGAIN ARGG we'll stick to these closer dunes this year NO Idaho for us at all unless we just drive the car over in July for the ATV Jamboree to visit w/ the great folks we've met over the years but the people that run the jamboree are ANTI-SPORT QUAD hahaha naw they just charge a fortune & all you do is wait in line in the 95 degree heat to do a little racing then they yell @ you if you spit rocks WHATEVA!!!

Oh my gosh is freaking hurts, yuck.
Pain meds are good, I'm back up for a minute, but kinda dizzy to read and write..
I'm more PO'd because I gotta get Ash's quad going.......gggggggggrrrrrrrrr
Q4fun glad to hear your back is getting better. I for one know exactly how you feel. I have a pinch nerve in my lower back and if i do something wrong my body lets me know. Actually acouple of weeks ago it went out and i couldn't sit, lay, stand for any amount of time. I would have shooting pains down my legs. It was not fun driving that's for sure. Just keep heating and icing it will get better adventually.
queen, you need to get an MRI and some PT before your herniate something....
its all fun and games until you go too far
from what you describe,,,,i suggest a doc for sure

How far is this from Arlington? We are 30 miles south of Seattle, so it all depends on on much farther for a short ride.

Slow and low that is the tempo!
Hopefully I will be able to lay down some semi-fast laps for the TT race Sat. Also gonna practice on Thurs, it will be Jakie boys first time on the track, so hopefully he will just take it nice and slow!

Not real accurate for my neighborhood.
The house next to me sold almost a year ago for $20k more than the web site shows.
Don't know how they figure their estimated prices. If it's off assessed value by the county, it will most always be too low.

My understanding is they're going off the tax record for your home and then use comparables from the tax records which should be accurate. where the problem lies is if there are not any accurate comps, and/or it cannot determine condition of the comps or the target property. It can give a good starting point before talking to a Realtor

Well for the property challenged (me!), it at least tells me my house is worth what I owe, and probably more, which means we aren't stuck in it forever!!! I want a bigger house!
And all the stuff I looked at seemed a little low depending on the neighborhood, but when you compare it to what people are asking for their homes (get the address for the house for sale, and look it up), Zillow is around $20k less than they are asking
Hmm.........
Posted by: Red400EXRod
Yeah, then it looks like they're placing value by sq.ft. price for comps onto surrounding homes. Says nothing of condition of property or whether comparing a rambler to a 2 story to a split to a tri to a daylight basement and so on down the line!

You run into this same problem when having an official appraisal as well. It all depends on the appraiser, but they can only go off of what's available, and the inside of the homes are not available to them.....so the comps could have terrible insides and nice outsides...but they still get used to appraise your home..........
I just need to find a nice young couple that love cramped, dumpy houses AND that have lots of money to spend! Then maybe I can sell my house for some profit!!

But, a good appraiser should use comparable homes, ie: rambler vs rambler, 2 story vs 2 story and so on.
Now I did say, a "good" appraiser.

You run into this same problem when having an official appraisal as well. It all depends on the appraiser, but they can only go off of what's available, and the inside of the homes are not available to them.....so the comps could have terrible insides and nice outsides...but they still get used to appraise your home..........

Do you have insider secrets!????

Let's see, 4,000 - 5,000 sq.ft. building lots are selling for $120,000+ in Snohomish County.
Then you're looking at $80.00 - $100.00 per sq.ft. to build the house.
It gets expensive very quiclky!
That is why, even though I am a contractor, I will stay in my 40 year old 2100 sq.ft. home.
I love the low monthly payment!

How much do appraisals cost and how long do they take to do?
There are bad and good in all professions. That's what I'm saying.
Besides, fair market value is determined, (and defined) by a willing seller and a willing buyer agreeing to a price!

Rod!! Settle down mister! I was just teasin! I wasn't suggesting anything.....I think we all know there are "bad" appraisers out there. I had one on my refinance a couple of years ago. It worked out handy for a 2nd mortgage...but until now....we couldn't sell for what we owed!!
I like my low monthly payment too....don't want a bigger payment!...but man this 1067 square feet sure is getting smaller by the day!! And we can't even upgrade our toyhauler......there's no more room on our property!! (okay we know we can pay to have it stored....but that sucks!).

My understanding of a cubit is that it varies by person! It's the measurement from their elbow to the tip of their fingers! lol
And I'm not a carpenter, but I think the rule is measure twice cut once??? How bout it Rod, what's the official ruling!?? BR>

Have you priced materials lately?
Framing package, mechanical, plumbing, electric, roof, concrete, windows, floor coverings, cabinets and millwork, etc...? The list of needed materials is large!
Not mention lot improvements and mitigation fees!
This is why homes are so expensive!

Remember, I'm a finish carpenter. I am always dealing with the framers f-ups!
Leaning walls, out of level floors and ceilings, crooked doorways and list goes on!

Yes it does. whenever your workin with "real" wood and real rock in the interior you know that joints costs just went up 30 bucks a sqft next lets take a look at sinks and fixtures. there goes another 20-30 a sqft.. when you dont need the fanciest chit on the market and can pass with function over glitz its allot cheaper

Yeah baby, Tom Petty had a hot band, you lucky guy hr>
He's multi talented that Tom Petty. First he sings the National Anthem, then he wheels a stock car for 400 miles and the whole time he's gonna let me sit in his seats.

OUCH!
I've shot a couple of my fingers before. Luckily it was with the brad nailer, but it still hurt like hell!
You're not the guy that shot himself in the mouth with the framing nailer and didn't realize it, are you?
Then just thought he had a tooth ache.
First off, how do you shoot yourself in the mouth?
Second, how do you not know it?
Must have been a framer!
