Jayna,

Now that it's official, a huge Contratulations, on the new LT-R450, I like the yellow over the white for that quad also, easier to keep clean. One of the reasons I went with white on the 700R was it doesn't show stress marks half as bad when I crash and bend the plastic, besides, I already have a blue Rappy. What pipe will you be going with?

I remember talking about the trouble with blue plastics when you got your 700r. I would have chosen white if that had been my other option.

Yoshimura is the stock one on the LT-R450. There isn't really any easily found aftermarket stuff for it yet. HOWEVER, I already have the Yoshimura Cherrybomb which, when you pull a baffle from the exhaust, remove the airbox lid and plug in this little module it accesses the EFI map that's already installed on the computer. Gives 7.5 hp for about $50. Plug n play. Gotta love that. I am sure I will get sucked into buying the whole computer thing, but for now, I will stick with the CherryBomb. As we all know, we only control the sickness for so long. img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

Fair is fair, he let me ride his MOD. That's probably what pushed me over the edge into my impulse buy.

Maybe I'll bring it down to the track and have him take a few laps and give me a comparision. Or maybe you should plunk your backside on it and run against him. img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif" border="0">

I am off to dro the other one off at the doctor. Have a great day PSAR.

Yeah, it's fun. Wish I had it in my possession. Called today and the sales guy didn't have a clue on when they will have anything in. They are calling Suzuki on Monday to see if they can get one sent in. Hopefully they won't take forever. Really killing the impulse buying mood.

No-No, There is a place called Matlock out on the western edge of Mason county. The storys from out there make you believe you are in hillbilly country in the SE of the USA. Examples,

Wife is teaching a class to the Matlock volunteers firefighters, during the break, one of them shoots a passing coyote. He reluctantly returns to class, wanting to wait and see if anymore are around.

Or the one about responding out to the house with the big white rock to mark the driveway (address, we don't need do stinking address) for a crazy guy needing a trip to the hospital. They arrive to find a guy naked on the roof (it's December BTW) baying at the moon. They stand there watching him and discussing how to get him down, when the local Fire Chief walks up and says "Come on" and walks into the the trees away from the house. They follow but ask why they are going away from the house. He says, "That ain't him." img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif" border="0">

I need to get you out to Canyon River, just past Matlock, for a fast logging road ride with some little valleys to drive off the road into. You know, like 150 feet deep and 60 degree valley walls.

Oh! A VW bus. My Aunt and Uncle had one of those, must have put about a million miles, maybe less on that thing. They always loved it. I hated the dang thing because every time they came to the farm I had to change the oil, tighten all the loose bolts, fix the exhaust, set the valves or something. Lots of routine maintenance but one tough little rig.

You have to disable your new Norton Anti Virus when you are on the site. Dbeck told me that the new 06 is stopping it. Should have a fix in about a month.

Got the 70cc kit installed on my zuma, clutch kit and all. Now it sounds like a well tuned chain-saw... not too sure about the sound, but it surely scoots right along.

The wife rode it around a little, now she wants hers to do the same...

Haha thats what DJ & I thought too but I'll get to ride it also so I'm not worried HECK I'm the one who found it I BETTER get to ride it img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> He even thanked me for finding it

As for the 300.......................................IDK you want it LOL J/K since it's NOT a runner AGAIN it will either be sold or it will become a "project" bike just not sure yet, it IS for sale somewhat, I'm still deciding if I want to try the a arms on the 400 or if it'll mess the handling up ect on the 400, did put the PRM front bumper off of it on the 400 & the AC off the 400 on the 450 to go w/ the AC Pro Pegs, AC wide grab bar It also came w/ ITP Baja's on all 4 corners so that's a plus!! I think I got off of the 300 all I need except OF COURSE for the pink shock covers img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> BR>

Installing the toilet and sink and we'll have a working master bath again. Then on to the master bedroom.

I need my valves adjusted on my quad and i DO NOT know how to do it? Is anybody willing to teach me? I will bring my quad and money for the labor? I always ask Justin to teach me and he always says " Oh they are fine", typical man saying. They are way over due!!

Adjusting the valves isn't too bad, more time than anything (plus a lil bit o' math). To check them usually takes an hour or so. If needed the big hunt for the shims.....aka math.

The new school doesn't have shop though BUT his current shop teacher we think will let him come to 6th period to finish out his welding shop this year, plus he wants to finish his diaper quad project that he has going there!! So that'll be cool his shop teacher is his buddy so i'm sure he'll let him!!

So what are you saying.....?

Angie, a mail order company, that carries the tusk line has full clutch kits to include springs for under $50.00

Measure the springs as shown in the service manual, you might not need them. If the idea of pulling a hard clutch is less than appealing, you might want to get OE Yammie springs from Ronnies Mail Order.

Last time she rode was 18 months ago at Sandlake, now she has Carpal Tunnel and may require surgery. She's a putter on a quad, not a rider, she would rather hang in camp, especially now that she has a Motorhome, her words, not mine.

We decided it's a waste to have a 3rd quad that never gets ridden and takes up space in the garage. It'll go on the block next week

We decided it's a waste to have a 3rd quad that never gets ridden and takes up space in the garage. It'll go on the block next week hr>

I think you need to get Hollywood a Rhino!

Ok well evening all Ron & I had a GREAT ride today img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> It was nice that it was just the 2 of us & no kids to worry about or wait for We actually ended up riding for about 3 1/2 hrs if you can believe that LOL
Got a whole mix of different riding conditions too, water puddles, dry ground, mudd, & SNOW that was cool, it was down lower than we'd ever really seen it up there then we tried to make it to the top of the mountain but the stocker tires on the 450R just weren't cutting it heeheehee but the ol' Razr's on the 426 would of walked all the way up it a slow pace but it was going great!! We took some pics w/ the phone so the quality isn't the best forgot the other camera @ home!!
I have now come to LOVE the 426 img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> I rode the 450 but wasn't comfortable on it LOL, that's what I used to say about the 400 too haha, I even rode w/ NO wheel spacers on the rear img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> WHOOOHOOOOO that's a good thing for me hahaha Ron said I can't have them anyway cuz then they won't fit side by side on the trailer!!
WE went & scoped out some nice trails...............NO not all loggin roads they've put ecology blocks up on the road to the "dunes" but we went around them(they ar there so cars can't get thru) MAN that place is about washed away it's crazy how the river changes course so much!!!
All in all it was a GREAT day for Mom & Dad img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

A BIG THANKS to MB & bbbtats for letting Trev hang for the day WE NEEDED THAT img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> AS for DJ I guess he sulked all day WHAAAAAA F'in WHAAAAA is all I have to say we decided we should of took him but heck how ofter do WE get to go jus the 2 of us!!!

OH yes we did a little racing too off the line the 426 is on it(or maybe it's my reaction time LMAO no it actually has more grunt, & it kept w/ him all the way until I sissied out LOL(coudn't see around the corner) So I'm REALLY happy about that, the poor 300 used to have to be rode WFO constantly to keep up w/ everyone!!! That's probably whats wrong w/ it img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">
So I think Ron is going to go w/ a 13T on the front he misses the "grunt" but he does like the quad likes the ride ect. thinking he should get a HRC kit or something but I told him he has to wait LOL

Hey Bill he tried to take me down/up "Bill's hill 2" up there LOL I said NADA but we did walk down it coming up was a biotch haha I told him to go for it but he decided not to!

Ok well I'm gonna post some pics on the PSAR site in a little bit here I'll throw a link in a minute img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> It's time for me to go to bed, I'm one pooped out Momma

A Rhino is not a rail. It's a side-by-side.
Haven't you seen them?

Where is it up by Darrington that you rode? Is it open to the public? I am from up north on Whidbey Island and am always looking for different places to go. I usually just go to walker Valley because it is close. We used to enjoy going up to the North Fork up past Bellingham until they closed that area. We also go down to Tahuya for the longer weekends. We really enjoy that area. Thanks for any info.

We have a Kawasaki Mule at work that used by a few people to scoot around the warehouse, so yeah, I know what they look like. She doesn't want one of them, she wanted a MH or Trailer, she's happy

campNride,

Welcome to the thread.

I didn't realize the North Fork was closed, even though I've never been there, alittle far for me. When you head up to Tahuya, let us know, quite a few people on this thread ride Tahuya regularly.

Welcome to the thread 1st off AS for Darrington you go out Hwy530 to Darrington, once you get to the end of town there is a 4-way stop y ou go left, go to Sauk Praire Rd. & go right follow all the way out to the "T" & go left, follow road(turns to gravel) you will see campground signs just follow them!! You can pull off anywhere on the road & park & ride from there or go into the campground & park, if your into camping it is AWESOME up there, right along the river, free camping, you haul your own garbage out though but they have firepits, tables outhouses ect BR>
I am going to try to get a ride togother up there kind of a "Spring Clean up" I will be letting DNR know we are going to CLEAN up the friggin trash so that'll be a plus for us We will have some trucks & trailers there also, we noticed ALOT of garbage yesterday
SOooooooooo if we could ALL get together & do that it would be cool

Kym & Ron, congrats on the new toy, you deserve it. Finally the adults getting the new stuff img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">BR>
We had a little accident yesterday. It did not include quads, but it did include the breaking of more bones.

Peyton went to a party at a roller skating rink and fell and broke her arm. She is going to the specialist today and we will see what they need to do to fix it. So it looks like she is out for 8 to 12 weeks.

Congrats on the new quad, sandvig adults!!!! That's awesome news!

Sorry to hear about peyton, I hope she heals quickly.

Kym! Excuses are like arseholes, Get your butt to Florence!!! Tell your friends to reschedule. Where are their priorities? Wunderboy and BrownBoy can still come down with me if they want. They are welcome to the back of the trailer again. It should be much warmer this time. Just let me know.
Mexico is a couple weeks off yet and I just got a call from Jackson. I get to pickup my new toy tomorrow. YIPPEEE!!! img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> Can't hardly stand it. Still doing the math on how to stuff it in a suitcase for the trip. I already measured, it won't fit through my slider into the living room. Maybe if I tilt it like a couch or something...Hmmmm.

Jayna since Mexico is acouple of weeks away, why don't you take it for alittle spin, over to Moses or Beverly. You might even beable to get away with Darrington. I really don't think riding around in your yard is going to satisfy your needs. You will go nuts in Mexico!

OK, Peyton just left the specialist and she broke both the bones in her forearn, so now she is tied with Jenna at 3 breaks in the same arm. She is in a full arm cast, because they want to make sure that her old break is not damaged.

Id be kinda scared havin the quad in the house with mud dog He'd pee on the tire fo sure. He does it in the garage from time to time. Chew his ass about it but still that male dog show off for your buddies urge shows up. Most men like to pee on tires.. but i usally pee on the ones outside.. I know where it comes from when the boys are little dads like mr pellham tell us Pee on mommies tire BR>

I have never been to Beverly. Don't know about Moses, only a 2-wheel drive truck. Gotta break it in somewhere. Don't know if I will have time for a trip before I go. Might have to wait until I can give it a proper break-in when I get back. I won't have skid plates for a bit, so Reiter is out. Probably Darrington, too. We'll see.

There is a group of us here planning a camping trip over the weekend of the 17th March down to Tahuya. I am working on some of the issues right now. Don't know how many will go. Since it will be cold it will mostly be a mans trip. Thanks for the warm welcome and the directions to Darrington. I will have to check it out here soon. I will let you all know more about the Tahuya trip and where we will be camping in the coming days.

I think there is more men on this forum that don't ride in the cold/rain than there is lady's. I've been hunting when it was -15 then a wind on top of that. I have also been to Moses Lake when it was 15 degrees. Now that is cold!

Jayna since Mexico is acouple of weeks away, why don't you take it for alittle spin, over to Moses or Beverly. You might even beable to get away with Darrington. I really don't think riding around in your yard is going to satisfy your needs. You will go nuts in Mexico!

We'll see.

Oh No no No you WILL go to darrington img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> I was just there w/ NO skids either theyare laying in the garage, I didn't have any issues come on girl, oh hell I'll break it in for ya this weekend @ RMC img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> haha j/k

Since it will be cold it will mostly be a mans trip. Thanks for the warm welcome and the directions to Darrington. I will have to check it out here soon. I will let you all know more about the Tahuya trip and where we will be camping in the coming days.

I'll be there. We been going there pretty much every weekend. Live about 30 minutes away. Not sure where you camp but we'll be around the gravel pit on sandhill road. Riding yellow trx 400 with a rugger on a DS 50.

That section is for supporting members, you get other bennies also besides the classified. The money from the supporting members helps run this site and it's a measly amount compared to what we all get from this site
