I'm up for a Rock Candy ride at the beginning of April. LdyJay's idea of the 8th works better for me though. I've got a race on the 1st and the 15th. I'm willing to bet that I could even drag the wife out for a ride.

And RealtorRider, I think breakfast at "The Place" is a must. Just remember to make a complete checklist of EVERYTHING you'll need for the day..... ( Helmet ) hr>

MB the Kings are glued and screwed to a brand new pair of 10' x 8' Douglas .125 wheels. in 4 on 115 Yami pattern. They had so many holes in them from who ever put the studs in them for the ice races that I put one can of fix a flat in each tire and screwed them to the rims so the rims wouldn't spin in the tires. As I understood it you gifted them to me as they were gifted to you. I would be more than happy to lend them out on the wheels they are now mounted on but I really don't want to dismount them. I use them on the quad up at my place for testing and planned on using them future dyno sessions on my 700R and others. We could always drill a second bolt pattern in the wheelshr>

PRM makes awsome skids. This is one place to not be brand loyal. Get quality parts. I have 2 off brand 400ex skids, and they are junk. The PRM skid could take a bullet.

Measure the springs as shown in the service manual, you might not need them. If the idea of pulling a hard clutch is less than appealing, you might want to get OE Yammie springs from Ronnies Mail Order.

YEP replacing springs @ the same time is the best way to do it BR>
As for the valves if it wasn't a DOC DJ would help ya out but he's gonna have to have help/guidance himself on the 450's................................hint hint hint img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

Angie, a mail order company, that carries the tusk line has full clutch kits to include springs for under $50.00

Measure the springs as shown in the service manual, you might not need them. If the idea of pulling a hard clutch is less than appealing, you might want to get OE Yammie springs from Ronnies Mail Order.

Angie,
I put the EBC clutch kit on mine, included heavy duty springs, but it was almost twice what the same kit from Tusk was from Rocky Mountain ATV. They are great and will get you your stuff in a couple days.
I got a great heads up from a friend who knows his stuff and is so very helpful with everything about the Tusk kit after I already ordered my parts. I should know to at least ask before I wander off on my own.
