I would recommend Motel 8 in Logan....next too Shoneys for that 6:am breakfast as well. Best Western in Logan (chapmanville) is new and nice as well.

A group of us went down last august and stayed at Almost Heavenly Rentals. It worked out perfect for us. It was dry and clean. The one thing I wouldn't cut corners on is staying in a nice warm dry bed at night. The week we stayed they called for rain every day, which made the trails just perfect, no dust. It rained at night and only misted a couple of times on us. While we were on our way to the trails we past a couple of campgrounds and the people getting out of the tents looked pretty miserable. You'll find the locals are very friendly and the riding is awesome! Just be careful some of the trails can be pretty extreme. 2 of us took a couple of good spills down there, always expect the unexpected on the trails. It's not like the flat land around here where you can just fly down the trail and not worry about anything. Have a safe trip! DennisC

My husband and I are thinking of going down to HM from New Jersey for Memorial Weekend with our dirtbikes.
I really need some advice on where to stay that's close by! The HM website has a forum on this, but the lodging owners answer all the posted questions on the lodging conditions - seems a little biased!
We aren't into camping right now, just basic and safe lodging in a motel.
Please PM or email me at lindaacker@yahoo.com.
Thanks!
