rt 95, exit 5b (this is rt 102) go north to the top of the hill, there is a T/A truck stop on the left,...take the right hand turn across from the truck stop....it's a hard right hand turn....follow the road to the end....go into the sand pit.....ride and have fun......it's a great place...just bring your skid plates...........

See ya there!

RIjon,I'll keep an eye out for you when I go next time. My g/f(400EXbear on here) lives in Coventry and we've gone the past couple weekends.
in fact in my photo page theres a couple pics from there I just put in there.
I won't be there for the next few weekends but when we go again I'll let ya know.
BR>
For those that have not been:
I like riding there. Its really rocky and tires and skid plates will get a good workout, and its kinda dusty so keep an eye on the air filter. But it does have a lot of fun terrain to mess around on.
Its also kinda a large place considering its in Rhode Island.....haha. I think its 85 acres, but almost all of it is open space.
Seems to be the bikes are around in the AM and then about 11am or so most of the quads show up. Thats just how its been the past couple weekends when we went.

Also, the preferred parking spot is RIGHT after the bank that is across from the truck stop.
Just take the right into the dirt road right after the bank's driveway. Thats where I was told the parking place is.

Yes, I'll add that the area off of Exit 5B is a great place to go!

Posted by: 400EXBear

I've been riding there the past 2 weekends in a row, and it's been great! We haven't run into any problems there... wasn't too too crowded either. Plenty of space to ride!

Posted by: owde

rijon were else do you ride besides that pit near the truck stop?

Posted by: owde

dude theres trails everywere and theres a nice track behide sals. maybe ill show it to you sometime

Posted by: owde

the state owns it now and if you go dont make a lot of noise . but i ride there every week and have been riding there for a couple years and no one has bothered me. as long as you dont have parties down there and trash the place no one will care. its a feild and me and my friends maintain it and get it pretty nice...just on dusty days it sucks.anyway... to get there you go all the way down punch bowl trail and right when you get to the end a sharp right hand turn. to the left theres a dirt road but i sugguest not taking your truck down there cause its pretty bumpy and rough. ok you go down the dirt road till you see a berm going to the left and you follow that path for about 50 ft and your thereif you do ride there please dont rip it up and trash the place like some other guy on a blaster cause that is the only really good place to ride and dont wreck for us. enjoy the track!!
some time we have to ride together.

o yeah if you need some one to ride with just im me at suzuki23086

Hey guys,
This place off of exit 5 is it legal to ride there? I am going to have to get a R.I. reg.? If it's not legal how often is it patrolled and what are the fines if you get caught.
I live in S.E. mass and there is nowhere legal to ride. I need to go somewhere close where I won't be harassed.

I'm down in CT, and I havn't got a chance to run up at exit 5 yet. My buddy and I have done some riding out at the Hoping Hill sand dunes, and that was pretty sweet. Is the track mentioned before about it for the area, or are there anymore?
