I've been there a few years ago. They have about 15 miles of trail. The trails were in good shape, no real difficult trails. I don't think I would go there if I wanted to ride all day. (gets boring with only 15 miles of trails) It would be a good place to take a beginner though. The riding area is closed from Dec 15 - April 15, and you need the Ohio OHV sticker.

I usually go to WNF (Athens area), but plan to try the Ironton area some time this year.

I was there with a friend in late summer and I wouldn't recomend it to anyone eccept a racer and is looking for practice riding whoops! They have 2 trail loops about 6-7 miles each and its ALL flat with no hills what so ever. As for the whoops, their are plenty! Their wasn't 10 feet of trail without a whoop! After 15 minutes of fast riding I was done! Hope this helps

Hey, just wondering if it was worth the drive? Just trying to find all possible riding areas in ohio. I know of wnf, but what about the other small state forests---are they worth it or should i just stick with wnf? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
