How does Thanksgiving weekend sound? I'm sure I can get a few of my friends together by then.
Tell me a little about Mahawk and the trails near your house. Are they hilly, rocky, muddy, etc, etc.

We live on Partridge St. We are in a club (Southern Tier NYTRO) and they have some rides from time to time we go on. Actually there is one this coming Saturday in Jasper, N.Y. the 12th if your are interested. You do not need to be a member to ride this. We will not be able to go. My son is going to race his 250r for the first time on the 13th. I will e-mail you some information about the run and give you a phone number for another person that I am sure will be going that day if you are interested.

my wifes grandmother is moving there soon and we will be making road trips up there to see her. i have to bring my quad and find some trails up there. i'm sure there are many. any one can show me around or tell me how to get to trailhead? thanx

i'm ready when u are. let me know. i'm in orange county, about 5 minutes from middletown. 55 minutes from the tz bridge. we can ride in mahwah or we have some trails around here. weekends are the best time for me, sat. or sun. i'll talk to u soon. later

ironbear, thanksgiving might be tough. i'm married with kids and i will probably have to do the family thing that weekend. but you never know. i'll know more as we get closer to thanksgiving. as far as the trails go, mahwah is probably the best bet. lots of hill climbs, rocky trails, fire trails, mud, river riding and some very hairy trails. the riding by me is much calmer. sand pits and some trails. i'm still learning them myself. i've only lived up here for 3 months. i know mahwah like the back of my hand.
