Anyone still riding up there? I have not been there this whole year. The last I had heard they where ticketing people if you rode on the wrong side without your numbers. Have they logged anymore of it?

We are planning on going doown to Oliver around Thanksgiving. Be sure to post after your trip. I will be curious to hear your impressions of the place. For that matter maybe we could talk afterwards. I am only 10 minutes from Muncie and both my wife and I work at the hospital.

We only ride a little locally, occassionally at Prairie Creek resevoir and some along the river between Farmland and Ridgeville. There just isn't much of anything around here. We go to Wayne Natl Forest more than anywhere else these days. Not as extreme as Hat/Mc, but still a lot of fun and a lot closer. It is WAY better than Haspin, and maybe 30 times as big. It is 3 1/2 hours away though.
My wife rides some but is still a beginner. She would ride more but we have 2&6 year old girls that make it harder for us to get away together. My brother lives close to Farmland and both he and his wife ride as well. My wife is an OT in Rehab. at Ball. I actually am in the Radiology Tech school there. We have been wanting to meet other couples that ride together.

I typed Summerville, IN in Mapquest, and it said no Summerville, IN.

I heard some were riding in Summerville, IN. I used to ride there approx. 20 years ago and it was some really good riding. I'd like to get back down there sometime.

Sorry about the spelling----It is Somerville, IN. It is located north of I-64 off of 57.

I've rode at the Badlands and Haspin Acres in Laurel. I wish there was a good place even closer. A group of us is heading to the Hatfield/McCoy area in West Virginia in less than 2 weeks. Where do you ride? Maybe we could hit the trail together sometime.

Hey Rod,
I did not know that was your posting. I went to Windrock in Tennessee about a year and a half ago-----we only rode a day and a half, still had a blast. There are lots of good hills to climb.
Hopefully these next 10 days go by fast----i am really looking forward to our trip to H/M. We all need to get together and decide if there is anything special we need to bring and when we can load everything.
Talk to ya soon.

Hey Brain,
Give me a call. We need to sit down and make plans some time this week. We are going to Michigan this Fri. through Sun. riding in Manistee National Forest. (want to come?)
I have a covered trailer lined up for us to take so we can lock up the ATV's at night.

We are really looking forward to our trip to Oliver Springs, TN. We will let you know how it went. Does your wife ride? Where do you ride? Any place locally? We have gone numerous times to Haspin Acres and Badlands and various places in Kentucky and Tennessee. We also have been to WV to Hatfield and McCoy trails-loved it! What do you do at the hospital? My wife, Judy, is a nurse in the acute dialysis unit.
