You going next weekend? I'm thinking about it. I want to ride but I don't know about staying over because I have a lot of studying to do. I suppose I could study on the drive. Did my brother tell you my car caught on fire last week? Kind of put a damper on going riding or boating on the weekend of the 4th. How did the kids like the new Trail Boss? I wondered about riding in the heat last week. Even the week before it was kinda hot and it was only in the 80's. Talk to you later

I have only rode Long Ridge (if that is the section over by Buchtel) one time so far. I liked it but a lot of times I ride with newer riders like 65Chevelle, (just kidding Ernie) and I don't feel comfortable taking them there. It is also an extra 15 minutes or so further than going to Dorr Run for us. I would like to find the short cut from the Main Corridor maybe we could hook up with you some time and find it. We like to keep up a pretty good pace when we aren't bringing the wives and kids along. I figure with your Prairie and experience that isn't a problem.
How are your Sur Trax holding up now that you have a few miles on them? I am in need of new rear rubber but I am wanting something low cost and not too heavy. Did you stick with the stock size? If so are they about same height as stock or shorter?
I'll let you know if I am going to be there this weekend. If so it will be Sat.

Sorry I didn't get back with you. My wife was very sick and in a lot of pain since Tuesday night(gall stones). Had to change my plans and stay home to take care of her and the girls. Haven't been on a ride in 3-4 weeks and it is driving me crazy! She will probably have surgery first of next week so next weekend will probably be out as well.
Where did you buy your Sur Trax? I am planning to get the 26's as well since they seem to run kinda small. Hope to ride with you before too much longer.

65 chevelle--- I see you are from Winchester, Ind. I've been there many times to watch the Sprint Cars run.

BK-- R U going to WNF 7/20 or 7/21??? I'll be there one day. I prefer Sat., but Sun. can work too. Been there EVERY w.e. since it opened in April! Have you folks ridden the Long Ridge loops? Cool place when it isn't real wet. Tight/technical. Lots of off-camber hills, that get a little "spooky" when wet. The dirtbikers love it in there---not many quads!
We rode the Dorr-Run inner loops last Sunday, very nice. Not many others out, for some reason. It rained a little Sat. nite, killed all the dust Sunday!!!! I have ridden the M-C, up to Newstraitsville only once this year.
Let me know, maybe we can hook up.

BK-- There are 2 or 3 ways to get over to L.R. from the M-C. You are right, LR IS a little "spooky" in places. There are some nasty off camber hillside trails over there. We spent at lot of time over there in the spring, when it was REAL wet!
I like the Sur-Traks, and will buy them again. They are wearing fairly well, the compuond is a little soft though. I bought 26", stock is 25". The Spiders are 1 1/2" wider than stock tires 9.5"
We rode the D.R. inner loops last Sunday and had a great time. NO dust. It had rained a little Sat. nite.

I TOOK MY 9 AND 11 YEAR OLD OVER THURSDAY WE WERE BREAKING IN THE WIFES NEW TRAILBOSS 325. DIDNT RIDE LONG IT WAS SO HOT OUT THE KIDS WERE READY TO GO BACK THE TOP O CAVES CAMPGROUND TO SWIM. MIGHT GO THE WEEKEND OF THE 2OTH MAYBE WE WILL SEE YOU THERE.

I WANT TO GO NEXT WEEKEND BUT I HAVE A BIRTHDAY PARTY I AM SUPPOST TO GO TO. I AM TRYING TO GET OUT OF GOING. HEARD THE NEWS ABOUT YOUR CAR HOPE IT WASNT TO BAD. AS FOR THE TRAILBOSS 325 ALL THE KIDS AND THE WIFE LIKE IT REAL WELL.I EVEN LIKE TO GET ON IT EVERY ONCE IN AWHILE. LAST WEEK DIDNT GET TO RIDE MUCH WITH THE KIDS IT WAS TO HOT FOR THEM.
