I tried to ride the trail that goes through Greendel a few months ago when I was up in NJ visiting the In-laws and was told the hole trail was under leese by some bicycle club. The guy was very nice about it. Ended up driving to Pa for the day.

I called my buddy last week while I wa son vacation.ANyway he tells me The place in Jackson twnship where he was gonna show me where to ride somewhere there. He tells me over the holiday weekend 2 kids 1 on a Honda that rides by him got cought, the 2 were both charged no registration,no license or insurance tresspassing,i think they mighta gotten the quads impounded and the fine was 700 bucks each.I mean this state is just hate I was in VT riding on the country roads Looking over my shoulder for cops and people sneaking up on me constantly,To my suprise Every 1 that passed me waved or the 1s behind me I pulled over and they waved,MAYBE its time to take my financial revenue and well being to a state that truly appreciates its taxpayers for who they really are.The only thing stopping me is If I could find a job that pays the same and doesnt kill me Id be gone in a second.I hate to say it but I regret buying these 3 bikes I have 1st there not practical and 2 where the hell are ya suppose to ride them w out having a ticket or guilt trip.I mean I ride what 3 times a month if that for 15 grand worth of quads and bikes to sit and collect dust and moisture. The quads are getting more popular and the numbers show it,but the people are getting more socialist against it something isnt right here.

some 1 mentioned bout Toms River and Heroin Hi,some 1 else just died from it the other day, they found the kid dead,w 3 bags 2 unsnorted and 3 straws.they think other people are involved, the parents flipped out and my buddy was like NO not my kid.Whats so sad is here we have real problems and there chasing us,That just says the boys in blue have too much time on there hands if they can bust us for what Having FUN?My friend told me where I work,DOnt ever forget it w these people and bosses When its the wrong way its the rightway and when its the rightway its the wrong way.Now I know why there is so much state and county spending and corporate incompetence if they are following these rules.I mean me and My buddy are not at the top of the ladder and were the 1s who should be on top and the 1s on top should be doign what we do.We can figure it out but why cant they w out spending a bunch of money and scratching of head?hmmmm I just gotta wonder.I think im gonna get sweet revenge sell my quads get my mc license and get a drz 400 w a pipe a real knobbies the only thing they could ge tme on is trespassing w isnt crap compared to no license or registration.

Posted by: sugarhead

I hear ya the only thing keeping me here is my job w the township. If it wasnt for the excellent money and benefits Id be outta here cause there is nothing good for me left here my folks are dead, friends are gone and then I cant even have alittle sinful fun on my quad.Maybe its time I made a move.....

The mechanic where I work w told me off of rt 287 where it goes to 87 to either NY thruway or he said wher eit goes off to the tappanzee bridge on the right heres miles of riding area and trails.Hmmmm Im now excited again does any 1 know about this place?

I grew up in Bergan County, used to ride mini-bikes near Saddle River.

Moved to Tennessee long before there even were 4 wheelers. There's more square miles of legal riding areas within an hour of where I live that NJ has in in total state area. Y'all ought to come down this way to ride sometime.

Hey Kcperf you are from Rochelle Park Nj?? Well i live in Roselle Park NJ. lol. People always mix up the 2. I ride in North Brunswick Nj. Hey SugarHead, you are from Somerset county. That is not far away from me at all. I ride in the woods behind my dads house in North Brunswick. Will be driving by June 27th so when you guys from NJ find a nice place to ride we should all get together and BLAZEEE!!!! gimme some info of where you guys are going so maybe i could come wit you guys. Me and my buddy both got raptors so we shouldnt have a problem keepin up.... Keep this topic goin and find some good places to ride!!

Posted by: RaPtOrRiDr01

o yea TAMPAVII, you ride in Ocean county?? If so where at?? I got a house in Lavalette and would like to know some places to ride down there thanx!

Posted by: RaPtOrRiDr01

I rode in Sarco 1 time last year. I must say it has been the most fun i ever had since it was my first real time goin somewhere to ride. Too bad my warrior broke down in the pits So tell me people who go to Sarco alot. how are the cops there??? I will be going over to sarco many times this summer because my friend goes there alot on his 400ex and kx500. He pretty much knows the place by heart. I dont wanna get busted and we got a good parking spot. So if you guys would like to meet up sometime this summer at Sarco that would be great. I havent done many of the trails there, just hung out in the big bowl and around the lake. Lata

Sugar, yea we still got some land left thank god! If you know where Aaron Road off of Rt 1 right by the Exxon, I live one of the streets off of Aaron road. Im on the rt 1 side i guess you can say. The woods we got is descent. What it really needs is a bob cat to go through all of the trails and open them all up but most of the trails are slow and it can get very muddy back there. What do you ride? I have 2 good jumps set up that are a good 40 feet, one was done with a bob cat so if you like jumping i got some for ya. Im sure my dad would not mind someone riding back there wit me but if we gonna set somethin up i would need ur #. I know where there is REALLY REALLY GOOD riding, like im talking MILES AND MILES of non stop riding! Farm land, trails, sand, hills, creeks, mud pits. And best of all it is all WIDE OPEN. I just dont have the nerve to go back there since we gotta cross route 27 which can get tricky plus risky and plus rangers go back there wit their jeeps. I was chased the last time i went back there buit we made it out fine. I wish i could take u there but i would not go without my buddy. So where do you ride and what kinda quad u got? Send me a email to Redneckmxr1@aol.com about anything. PeaCe

just wondering ow may NJers are in the forums....

Posted by: discharge

hey kcperf, i have a house in windham...also i go skiing alot in roxbury at platekill...that place is the best....plus i've gone snowmobiling in that area before....

Posted by: discharge

i was there a few weeks ago and didn't see a soul....i got ticketed once a couple months ago on a weekend and now i only go during the week when i have off....wow gliddens is nuts huh...ehhh thats what happens when people hot wire the machinery and crap like that....though i heard theres an even bigger hill there or did they just make bertha bigger

Posted by: discharge

i live in NJ and dispise it...i have three ideas of where i want to move....1. Wyoming...2. Oregon....3. Nevada....i've been to wyoming and nevada and they were awsome and i hear that the oregon coast is beautiful.....

Posted by: Jimbostew

I Felt the wrath of Jackson PD. Grand total for riding @ gliddens $540.00.They had 5 off road vehicles out there coralling quadders. It is amazing, they utilized approx 15 officers out there to bust off roaders and Ocean county NJ has the 2nd largest herion use in the state. Toms River High School is nicknamed Herion High by the local Hospital where my wife was a ER nurse. Drug use is rampant and the county is busy using all there manpower and beating the dog snot out of state vehicles chasing people playing in a sand pit. I met some great riding buddies while i lived in NJ but i was soo glad to leave that sorry a$s excuse for a state.

Posted by: NittroT

Hey Trailconnoisseur! Me and some buds are thinking about a road trip to the Hatfield-Mccoy trails. Where can i get some info about that area?

Posted by: NittroT

Hey Bigsexy. Ill hook up with you. I like those places too. I think budme31 might want to go too.

Posted by: trailconnoisseur

I am from Deptford, NJ. I was the marketing director for the Hatfield-McCoy Trails in southern WV for two years and came home in Nov. I am now working for a promoter doing DirtWeek and QuadStock.

Two places to ride outside the Poconos are Tower City and Paragon. I went to Paragon for a jeeping event and it was good riding. You have to be a member at Tower city or be with a member.
