Southeast Oklahoma.....The best riding in the state...you name it we got it.
Posted by: vilnrk
I ride at Whitefield OK its only like 35 miles south of Muskogee on hwy 2. This time of the year is great riding, you can cross the river and trail ride to the Eufaula dam. Probally about 10 miles riding all sand and some very large banks to climb. And all the drag racing you can stand to.

Here is how I would go to Whitefield from Broken Arrow
Take Muskogee turnpike to 69hwy, follow 69 south to Eufaula, exit and take hwy 9 to Whitefield. At Whitefield you will turn left (north) at the stop sign, which is hwy 2. Now you will drive aproximately 2 miles to the bridge. Just after crossing the bridge you turn off the hwy on your left and park. Sundays usually the best day to go, get there about noon and there are usually plenty of people to ride with.

Or take hwy 64 straight south out of Muskogee (64 turns into Hwy 2 south of Warner). It is a straight shot. We pass this place everytime we ride near Kinta.

Draper Lake is the place. More trails than you can ride in a month, if you can find them all. Wide, narrow, deep, hills and mud holes, and lots of trees. If you haven't been there, pull out a map, it's easy to find, and after this cold spell passes, take a trip and you'll find lots of riders there on the first warm day.

Brent from Owasso. Do a lot of riding at Appalacia bay, Keystone lake. Planning on going to the Snake Hunt this year April 26th at Little Sahara.
Don't get to ride as much with a newborn now, used to go every weekend, EVERY weekend.

With this new job, I don't sit behind a puter all day. The only time online now is in the afternoon/ evening. I sent you a PM Okie.
There is a great ride coming up at Little Sahara April 26th & 27th. This is the biggest weekend of the year. I've already scheduled the babysitter (Mom) for that Saturday. It's well worth the drive. Me and a buddy took a trip out there on a Saturday in November.
Bring out the 4x4s. You guys will love it! Especially if you have selectable 2-4x4.

Little Sahara State Park
Sand dunes as far as the eye can see. Located in western Oklahoma, Little Sahara is the mecca of the dune buggy crowd in this area. If you're looking for the twisties this is definitely not the place. 1800 acres of rugged sand dunes up to 75 feet tall for your off-road enjoyment. Open to 4x4s, motorcycles and ATVs with the ubiquitous 10 ft. whip. Open year round, check out the nearby Alabaster Caverns while you're there- no bikes allowed, but it's well worth a visit. Also you might try Draper Lake ORV Area
Lake Stanley Draper is located just southeast of Oklahoma City. The off-road vehicle area is on the north side of the lake just off I-240, the unloading area is just a mile from the marina on the northwest side. Over 85 miles of trails snake through the woods and around the lake. Terrain is that lovely Oklahoma red dirt with a bit of sand.
Just a mile up the road from the unloading area is a concession, marina and information center. The concession is a fully stocked store which also serves a full menu of breakfast, burgers and cold drinks

I ride at Lake Murray all the time and am getting real tired of it. Need to find a new place. Has anyone been to Bulcher, TX? Do they require helmets? (I hope not alot of my buddies don't have any)
