There is Eagle Bridge NY. It has a practice track (actually two tracks and a peewee track) plus I believe a harescramble course. I have not been there in over a year, so...

It is located just north of Albany. Website www.ebmx.net

greenbud-were do you ride?? 7 yrs ago i lived in n.tonawanda and i might be moving back to niagara county soon. having a place to ride is a real concern for me. it seemed that every thing was being closed down or posted.

Tug hill is great riding, mud, hills, everything except sand pits havent found one yet

Posted by: Kawi250

I just got a trailer so I can now tow my quad. One problem, I have no where to ride!!! I have been to Lembo Lake Park (ATV NY) before and it was great, but I would like somewhere else to ride. Also, are there any MX pratic tracks around? I live in lower New York.

Posted by: Kawi250

Greenbud,
I'm in Westchester NY. About 1hour up from the city. You are reaaaal far. Lembo lake (aka ATV NY) is in Modena NY, about an hour up from me. I think right near ATV NY there is Ace and Diamondback pratice trakcs, although I don't know if you can ride ATV's on them. Also, I've heard of Raceway Park, I think there are pratice tracks there, It's in Lower NY or upper NJ.

Check out MadBeaver ATV
Last year was the first year open, but this guy has big plans for it-currently trying to get a national race for '03 from what I hear. Building a new, bigger track this spring. From what I hear there is going to be a quad only series this year along with Thunder Ridge (Thunder Ridge), and Motomasters (Motomasters). I'm not sure if they are going to have practice dates available or not.

I am interested in those riding areas you know about.
I live in Clifton Park.
I also will need to know if there is a safe parking spot that i can unload my atv in.

Let me know.

Thanks.

Posted by: bushbayous

I'd love to hear about these trails also. I'm a new atv owner from East Greenbush.

Thanks

If you're into road trips check out the Mass. State Forests in the link below. I've been to Beartown SF and it was a blast. Finding these riding places was what prompted me to buy my first atv's this year.

Hope this helps.

for those of you around the NYC area, i live in bayside and theres a place to ride a few blocks from me. its not legal, but its deep in the woods and people ride there all the time. i even ride my kawi there on the streets, never been bothered. its in bayside, coming east take the LIE to the clearview, get off at 75th ave exit (#2 or 3, cant remember). make a left at the light on the off ramp. go past first light (hollis hills terrace), some ballfields will be on your right. go 1 block to second light, make a left (210th st.), go to 65th avenue i think it is. look for the entrance on your left. just park and unload on the street. ride in there, there are some trails and one huge jump if you can find it. keep going on that trail tho, and youll come to a bridge that crosses the Clearview. go across that and theres a huge area to ride in with jumps, a semicircle track, lots of space. its worth about an hours drive id say, not more tho. gets tiring after 2 or 3 hours, but if youre in the area, great place to ride. if you need more info, drop me an email.
