Where are you talking about when you say local races?

How does everybody find out about races and rides? I check with the local shops but they are not into racing. I also check the various web sites but most of the rides are never listed. Cycle News has an excellent listing but many of the events don't want ATV's participating. Does anyone have some secrets or advice?

I live in South Ga. But I regularly travel to about any state adjoining GA. for a good ride.
