I think you hit it right on the head, we have been to 3 TDF's now and all have went well but tend to be a bit boring. You cant tell me that the people in Cochranton can organize 150 private land owners but the TDF people cant get one. I think an open trail set up with a rodeo going at the same time would be great it would give families a chance to ride but they could come back to town and enjoy the Rodeo too. Getting the kids involved would be great! The dust was bad this year and the Rangers seamed to really be cracking down.

These are just a few ideas to make TDF better.

Maybe the folks in Marrienville should rethink this event a little bit. This was my fourth time there and it is getting a little bit dull. This last event really was bad the dust was just unbeievable. Now I know there is little they can do about dry weather but this event has to have a little more substance to it. The area is beautifull and the people are great, but driving around dirt roads for seven hours sucking dust is not my idea of a good time. C,mon folks plan some events or something. Im really starting to think you are in it strictly for the money. I know this ride is to raise money for the fire company but could you not plan some entertainment or maybe a RODEO or something. Part of the fun of theese things is meeting other people and relaxing while watching other people compete in some manner or another. Toure De,forrest is turning into toure de boreing. The success of any anuall event happens when they become better and better as time goes by. Maybe instead of doing two a year maybe one really good one would do the trick. I know one thing me and a lot of other people from North East PA. have had enough of this event for a while. Please let me know what you think.. Maybe I am all wet (or maybe dusty) Hambone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
