Hey Mike, where are ya from? I live in Wisconsin. I've never ridden the Marinette trails, but I've been to Mountain's, Kewaunee's ATV park, Park Falls, and Little Rice. How was the Marinette trails?

In Marinette county the Dunbar-Goodman trails are open. The Langlade county trails north of Antigo are open. I believe that the trails in the Chequamegon National forest by Park Falls are open year round as well. I am doing the Dunbar trails this saturday.Hope it ain't too dang cold out.

Rooster,
I live in Waupaca. The Marinette county trails aren't too bad.We rode about 80 miles on Saturday. The main section south of Hwy 8 is mainly sandy trails,no water to speak of.I have not been on the sections north of Hwy 8 that supposedly have some mud and water. It was a very dusty ride due to the lack of precipitation. But as usual nothing but fun!!

I usually ride in northern Washburn, Douglas, and Bayfield counties. There are trails there open all year, and a lot of them you share with the snowmobiles. You can also get onto the "Gandy Dancer Trail" and get into Minnesota. Superior, Iron River, Rice Lake are all connected in a round-a-bout way. We've put on over 200 miles on certain days. Mainly from getting lost. Ended up in suburbia Superior one day; found out golf courses don't sell gas, and riding across long train trestles ("Stand By Me")is pretty hair-raising.
