Yes, you can camp there. They don't have a campground per se, but you can camp at at the parking areas. If you want a campground, check out Cove Lake State Park. You can't ride from there, but it is close by. If you want to stay in a motel, check out the Comfort Inn in Pioneer, TN. The local authorities don't seem to mind if you ride under the Interstate to get from the motel to the eastern part of the WMA. We area having a small problem with Royal Blue right now. The TWRA man in charge believes a good trail is made with two side-by-side D9s and dump-trucks full of 4" stone. He is widening all the trails to the point that you could drive your Winebago along with no problems. This is the same man that was in charge of Tellico for a while back in the 80's. It is still a great place to ride, but be careful right now, it is hunted actively, so wear your safety orange. If anyone wants ride this area, let me know and I'll get someone in the club that knows the area to play tour guide. ------------------ Kevin Staton Y2K Polaris Magnum 325 4x4 Windrock ATV Club

Please post your experience there. My friends and I are always looking for good riding spots and Knoxville is within our driving limits. Can you camp there? If not is it close to any motels?

Cove Lake is AWESOME!!! My family used to spend 2 weeks there every year. I loved it. That was of course before the Jeep and ATV bug hit me. If anyone wants directions let me know and I'll get you some.
