The Dillonvale ride was cool. I actually decided NOT to attend Cochranton this year...basically it is due to the fact that Cochranton is structured poorly. You wait in insane ATV traffic jams due basically to fat guys on 3-wheelers who can't get up hills and/or drunks on 2WD bikes stuck on a root! Anyway, I can't understand why the h*ll the folks at Cochranton wouldn't just organize the ride into shifts where only certain people with certain colored tickets can start. It's basic crowd control. I also understand that these are just a bunch of guys riding ATVs on a Saturday, so, come what may! To respond to vitoblaster,,,,how in the WORLD do you suggest that ANYONE promote a "non-alcohol" atv ride?? Come on! Have you LOOKED lately at just who rides ATVs? Beer-drinking guys! I personally don't want to be riding with a bunch of drunks either, but come on....tell me guys aren't going to bring beer with them just because alcohol use isn't encouraged. Just deal with it and ride defensively. This is life, not a controlled environment.

again, see, the problem here is the FUNDAMENTAL problem with just RESPONSIBLE ADULT BEHAVIOR. If I as a responsible adult want to have a few beers around the fire, I will. Like anyone is going to not take beer to Cochranton. That's preposterous! (so devoid of wisdom or good sense as to be laughable) Why does our society (principally the lesser-thinking parts) feel they have to "ban" something because it may annoy the FEW who were so devoid of a life in the FIRST place that they had to complain!? I feel the same way when I have to watch the "edited" versions of movies on public TV or on airplanes. If the silly morality police fairies can't take a few swear words here and there, they should quickly move to a desert island and come to terms with the failure that they are. I forget, what was the original question? Geez, I need a beer.

I went with 3 of my friends and we all had a great time. People told me that it wasn't a very fun ride, but I have to disagree. We all had a great time and will definitely go back.

I, along with two friends went Saturday, my 4th time there. I enjoy the ride, trails have been somewhat different each time I have been there. I don't feel that $15.00 is to much to pay for a day of fun, and they do have a heavy debt to pay for the land they purchased. Rellay liked the new entrance, much better than before. Would someone post their web site addy please. I'll deffinetly be back.

Tooey, just wondered if you rode with Blue Death and how it compared to last years ride...I hear the area was "all new" compared to last years event. I was pretty disappointed and didn't return this year.

I went and enjoyed it.. nice laidback run,,,There was on section down in the woods that was real tight and muddy with some small muddy hills,, wish the course was more like that,, but all in all I will go again this summer they will have 4 more... They should promote a non alcohol ride...

Posted by: Camo-man

Did you read the rules for Cochranton... No Alcoholic Beverages...and they will still turn out 9,000 plus riders...

Well as a responsible adult , why don't you have a few beers while driving your car,, a see where that gets you,,, I don't want to argue with you about 'Since I'm a responsible adult I can break rules', because that is what you are eluding too. I like to drink also, but I'm also a father and would like to give my son a chance at this, before it gets shut down due to people breaking rules. I just voiced my opinion on maybe a ride I can take my 10 year old son on and not have to worry about some responsible drunk running him over...

I was there with 3 other bikes. Thought it was great. We will be back. I would like to see them do something about the alcohol and the trash being throwed down. All those people are going to do is ruin it for the rest of us!!!

Me and 5 friends went on thr run, i've been on every one since they started and will continue to go. they put in a lot of new trails since last year. they had to raise the price a little because they bought tons of new land for more trails and they still have to make payments on the land they already had. $15.00 is a good price, pop was too steep, but hot dogs were free, how much better does it get?. On the sping run, they usually try to stay away from a lot of creek crossings because the water isi usually very cold and more muddy in spring , on the nxt run, may 26 i believe, there will be a totally different trail and more creek crossings. there's hundres of acres of trails that teh run never even touched. Personally, i had a great time, teh entrance was 100 times better and easier, more parking room, and better road. I would advise everyone to go on the next one, you woln't be disappointed

I went with 4 other guy's. It was okay, It wasn't worth $15, they should back too $10. The pop was $1.00. I am bring my own next time.

Yeah that's my cousin. He was on his 400ex this run. His raptor is in the shop. The tranmission locked up. The poker run wasn't that bad. I hope they lower too $10.00 instead of $15.00. I think most people liked it. I was a little muddy i didn't have any trouble. People was making steep hillclimb's. Yeah scotties bike wasn't running right, or would of tried it. My uncle climbed it on XR600. He had a little trouble. Why don't u come down to the next one ride with me and blue death.

Honda250x Hey did u see Timmy Rager on his yz426. I was riding with him alittle. The run wan't worth $15. They should lower back to 10. I will be there the next 1.

Posted by: redd888

I went with 8 other people. I thought it was really laid back, but it was fun to get on the gas and ride hard. I think they should put the price back down to $10 too. They should make a couple different trails like cochranton. 1 or 2 hard and 1 easy. I would of liked to see more hill climbs. redd888
