Never been to lost pond sorry.. Hudson isn't all that big so it cant be to hard to find. I know of some places in hudson near bensons to ride.. powerlines and what not... never rode them but iv'e been buy them a few times. Do you know if they are any good? You have to go by the church to get to them, not sure of the name of the road... its off of 111.
Shouldn't be long now till I get my new quad...*s*
Posted by: YZ250WR
At least you have 4 wheels... i'm stuck on 2. And my bike has a nasty powerband to boot too.
As for the powerlines, im not talkin about the ones on 111, the ones i'm talkin about are down the road that the church is on accross from bensons... maybe 2 miles or so on the left...

can I steal ur email address, if this snow melts anytime soon, I'll pull the beast from its slumber and hit the trails with ya.... granted the snow today isnt going to help me any *S*

I ride alot in the old Benson's property! Although they have recently blocked off the trails from my house , may have to haul my quad there! I am going to try Windham Depot, when i can get someone to go with me on a day off from work! do they have a map? of the snowmobile trails? i wish i could make a map of all the trails in NH and quit my job! hehe! do the snowmobils trails go to Hudson/Derry?

Hey YZ, have you been to lost pond in Hudson? Heard there is a quad gathering on friday nights!

Its off the trail on spear rd in Hudson. Never been there on friday's , heard its all guys.

New Hampshire has several ATV clubs that are all very active. But you don't need them to enjoy all the riding that is available. Right now, we are riding some 3000 miles of groomed snowmobile trails. Some are full service trails with fuel and restaurants right on the trails. If you are close enough it is well worth the drive to check it out. Feel free to Email me if you are going to be in the area.

I ride out of Raymond all the time. The power line trails that cross Langford Rd. are great. I also ride the "Fiber optic trail" that runs from Manchester to the coast. It is posted for "No wheeled vehicles," but screw 'em. Right now, it is so beat up from all the traffic that it isn't even worth riding.
I met a guy last week on this forum and we went riding last weekend on those trails. We ended up stopping well north of Pawtuckaway, just before crossing Rt 4 in Northwood. The whole day, we only saw two groups of snowmobilers.
We will likely go riding again this weekend. Probably Sunday. Maybe you could join our group or we could join yours.
Would you be interested in riding on Sunday morning?
Email me if you are interested.

Where is this lost pond?
Where is the trail head and where can you park?

Does anybody ride at Clough State Park? It is one of the state parks that is open all year round to ATVs.
I was there on Tuesday after the 18" snow storm we got. The trail groomers had been through but the riding was still a little tough. I think it was so crappy because it was like 40 degrees for the whole day after the storm. I'm sure that once it hardens up it will be great.

Brox?
You mean Brox materials in Hooksett?
My brothers girlfriend lives over there and she has said that you can ride from there all the way into Manchester. I haven't tried it yet.
Clough State Park is in Weare. It is on Rt. 13. It is very easy to get to from Concord or Goffstown. It is open year round to ATVs I was there a couple of weeks ago after the big snowfall we got and even though the trails were groomed, it was still too deep. Lots of snowmobilers out there too but they are usually pretty cool. And really, who cares if they're not 'cause we can be there if we want.
From Clough you can get to a gas station and you can also access some power line trails that you can follow all the way to Glen Lake in Goffstown.
Check it out, it is well worth it.

Maybe we could all hook up.
