Its a great site but the pictures are not taken recently, most are from the 80's, so they most likely will not show the trails you ride on, or if you find someplace to ride, there will probably really be houses there now. I wish i could find the site, there was a site that actually took a new satellite image of the coordinates you send them, i think it was only like $20

I found a site that has aerial photos of just about everyplace in the US! You can print out a photo of your ride area to help you find new trails. We use it and take the photos with us on rides. Its at www.terraserve.com . You just have to enter the name of the nearest town and select aerial photo. You can zoom in and out. I found that it just takes a little time to recognize landmarks and stuff. We have discovered lots of new trails and logging roads. Its also great to use to show someone where you ride, even if they live across country!
