Are the trails open now? How bad does the snow have to get before they close it down? I have a friend who is on vacation next week and might want to take a ride up there. I'm going out locally today but there are wind chill advisories out and it's supposed to drop to 10 degrees by late afternoon :0.

As of December 20th the Timberline Trail & the ATV portion of the Marienville Trail are open. As long as there's snow on the ground I think the trails will stay open until they close them for maintenance in the spring. The only deterrent is that it's REALLY cold up here, so dress real warm if you're going to go!
