I am coming from Indiana to ride the weekend before T-giving. Glamis is big place but 125,000 people it is getting pretty small.
Didn't Fienstien already close some of it to hiking a few years ago? Have you tried hiking in deep sand? Yea, right.

The enviro-nazi's got us! The blm is shutting down a big section of the dunes, efective the weekend of thanksgiving. www.glamisonline.com has a map that shows exactly what is still open. Basicly the store, comp hill, olds hill, and the sand highway are open for riding. China wall is gone...... All this for some stupid weed. :(

Have you been out there? I'm not sure if your joking or not about the tortouises. They did section off another big area for the sand turtles...... Wouldn't want humans to be the dominant species on the planet now would ya...
