I went to the Central Pennsylvania ATV Associations poker run up near Houtzdale, Pa on Sunday. Let me tell you it was a success! The well marked trail was roughly 21 miles in length and was mostly trails than dirt roads. There was about 200-300 riders there, yet it wasn't crowded at all. Not too muddy, just enough to keep the dust down and there were chicken routes around the harder parts. You could ride the loop as many times as you pleased. Mickey Dunlap from Four Stroke Tech was there along with some of his stable of riders. I passed Todd Knippenburg (formerly of Team Kawasaki) like he was standing still! ( he was standing still by the side of the trail at the time, but I still passed him). The Kawasaki people were there with their new Prairie 650 twin. I wasn't too impressed with that machine aside from the fact that it has a rider adjustable front differential and remote reservoir shock in the rear. The food was good. All around this is a shining example of what a poker run should be. If they have any more runs in the future I'll keep every one informed.

Banshee350Twin, Yes, I remember your sweet sounding Banshee with 2 into 1 pipes. I got a few pictures at the start, but I was so tired, I forgot to get any on the trail. I had to work the night before the poker run and that night. I was still glad I went. Celeste will post the pictures on my web site after I get them "developed". It might take a while, digital cameras like mine may be faster, but I have a lot of stuff to do in the meantime. Give me a week to get them on the site. Just click the link below my name. C-Ya!
