I am planning on attending on Sat. Is there anything special I should plan for? I have never been to a poker run nor to any event. Thanks!!

If my Raptor shows up in time, I"m going. I sold my 400EX without even thinking about what I would ride if my machine was late in coming. Now I might not get to ride until Cochranton! That would SUCK. I can always ride locally, but the big poker runs, and events are always a plus. I had a great time at Cochranton by the way. I like the camping, the partying, and the ride, plus, if you rode the "C" trail early enough, you could ride "A" or "B" when you got finished, they don't care really. CIAO

I did the run last fall. The trails consist mainly of logging roads with some trails mixed in maybe about 60/40% roads to trails. There is not alot of technical riding but it is still a great time I had a better time at Marrienville than at Cochranton I thought Cochranton was way over crowded and you were only able to ride one trail and it cost thirty bucks. Not that the money was an issue but for thirty bucks I want to ride till my butt falls off not sit in a traffic jam.Marrienville is 15.00 for one day or 25.00 for two days.I think it is a better value and has a better atmosphere than Cochranton its pretty laid back.My friends and I are also doing the poker run in Edinboro on Oct. 7th.This is the first year for this poker run its 40 miles all on private property. We are making the weekend out of it.
